“More stars are needed!! This place is one of the best dining experiences we've ever had. My husband and I happened to stumble on this place walking to a music venue. White table cloths, water in wine glasses, it is FANCYYYY. But even us walking off the street (without a reservation) we were treated with the same attention & respect as anyone. What I assume is the owner, didn't hesitate to serve us, take our used forks between meals and replace them, and fill our water glasses when low. Clearly takes pride in the establishment. Pricing not bad AT ALL for the level of service! If you find yourself in South Florida and need some authentic Italian in your life, you need THIS place!!!“

“I stopped in today around brunch time! I got a steak & egg sandwich and large iced latte with caramel and vanilla. My boyfriend got a bacon & cheese croissant! Which were both amazing. The server Dolly was super helpful and sweet. I would definitely recommend to others! 🤍“

“The food at El Guanaco is the best hands down. I refer people all the time for food . We have been going a few years but not much the last few months due to the service. Sometimes you can put up with mediocre service because the food is so good . But today was the second time service was subpar… Today we waited 20 minutes and still no order taken ….There was another table with no beverages that was sat before us . We decided to leave and offered to pay for the beverages and chips but they would not let us pay . The cashier said she could take our order but we already had waited and decided it was best to just go ahead and leave …On the way out there were 3 vacant tables inside ….If we eat El Guanico in the future we will order to go because the service is just not there anymore. The food is the best but not going back anytime soon to dine in …Food 5 ⭐️ service 3⭐️…..“

“I can't believe we've lived in Broward for so long and never tried this place!

I was hesitant at first because I'm not a big fan of fruits in cream based or chocolate desserts
...but this was delicious!

The staff is very kind and helpful and service is quick.

We got:

Chocolate + Vanilla Swirl Cone : Super creamy, delicious and the cone was oddly amazing. Super crunchy and fresh.

Vanilla + Cherry , Vanilla + Strawberry, Chocolate + Coconut, and Vanilla + Mango :
Super creamy and yummy. The fruit- based Italian Ice add-ins have natural fruit and are not over sweet. It complements the vanilla custard perfectly.

What a great sweet treat from a local staple, with good prices and kind staff.

Will definitely be back!
