“Food is horrible. I ordered the Bayou pasta. It was dry and it had no seasoning. All I tasted was noodles on the first bite. O, they charge 4 dollars for extra sauce for the pasta. Like really! If you ever had food in New Orleans, you will know this ain't it. I don't know what others see in the food. Maybe each location is different. I went to the one in Rockledge/Cocoa Beach, Fl area. All I know is that next time I am "Walking On" right passed this restaurant to another one that's better.... hopefully.“

You don’t have to go to the depths of the sea to find a Pearl that genuinely highlights the flavors, beauty, and aroma of the sea, satisfying your palate with every bite. -- As a seasoned traveler who has explored 68 countries and 36 states, I approach restaurant reviews with four primary criteria: taste, presentation, ambiance, and service. My goal is to provide an impartial perspective, highlighting both the positive and negative aspects of dining at the establishment. -- 𝐀𝐦𝐛𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 — The restaurant offers a cozy and sophisticated ambiance both indoors and outdoors, creating a vibrant vibe and a memorable experience for all occasions. Our server was quick to introduce herself, attentive, and a wealth of information to help us navigate the menu and find the best dining choices for our expectations and preferred food choices. -- 𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐝 – We dined there during lunch, which provides a large variety of snacks, starters, shellfish, sandwiches, and entrees. We started with the Smoked Whitefish Spread and Garlic Shrimp before moving to our entrees, which included Scallops and Atlantic Salmon. -- 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐫𝐬 – Unfortunately, this is where there was a slight misstep. When ordering the garlic shrimp, the initial thought is that you would be presented with shrimp with an infusion and obvious flavoring of garlic. To our surprise, the dishes were disguised with an intense red pepper flavor, which created a discerning spice that was welcome. The heart of the dish was lost as all you could truly taste was the spiciness of the red pepper – failing to elevate the flavors of the shrimp and the garlic. What was an additional disappointment was that it was very difficult to enjoy the Whitefish Spread with the lingering taste of the spiciness of the red peppers. After guzzling down some water (and whiskey), I was able to enjoy the true elegance of the Whitefish Spread, which highlighted an amazing balance of smokiness, savory flavors, and creamy/smooth texture. The dish was even more elevated with onions, sweet peppers, capers, and sesame seeds. -- 𝐄𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐬 – Only one word could truly describe the entrees – PERFECT. The chef was able to truly highlight the freshness, favors, and tenderness of the salmon and the scallops while pairing the seafood with the perfect blend of deep, complex flavors with purees that provide smooth textures, sweet flavors, and subtle buttery notes that complement the seafood rather than overpowering the dish. From the visual execution to the perfected flavor combinations, it offers sophistication and memorable taste with every bite! -- Simply put – just slightly short of perfection. While the dining experience had a minor imperfection, the entrees truly allowed us to walk away with an unforgettable experience that has us yearning to come back for more.“

Located in the heart of Carrollwood next to Tampa Wine Room, where we held our reception, they were the perfect fit for our celebration. Joe and his team did an exceptional job from start to finish. The food was outstanding, beautifully prepared, and served with such care. Our guests could not stop talking about it and kept going back for more. Several people told us they plan to come back and dine there, which says everything. We are so grateful for the incredible service and delicious food that helped make our wedding day so special. The restaurant is close to an hour away from me but it's well worth the drive.“

“The Shrimp & Company is a quaint seafood restaurant on the corner of 7th Ave and 22nd St in Ybor City. If you have walked past it headed for the restaurant across the street then you have missed the best seafood you could eat in Tampa. You have to try their Florida or Louisiana Steam Pot, any of the seafood baskets and their shrimp stuffed mondongo. The food and terrific service is worth another trip to the small family owned restaurant. Don’t miss it!“

“I use to really like the Salt Shack rum runners. They changed the way they make it. Our table ordered 4 rum drinks. All of them were different. One was good three were bad, one was even made with coconut rum. I tried to call and ask if this was the new way. They do not answer their phone. One more chance“

“I’ve been visiting Eddie V’s for years, and while it can still be a wonderful dining experience, the consistency is not what it used to be. The staff has changed over time, and the level of service can vary from visit to visit. When the food arrives fresh and hot, everything is excellent and you can look forward to a great night. Unfortunately, when dishes sit too long before being served, the quality noticeably suffers. I still enjoy the restaurant, but I would love to see more consistency in both the service and the timing of the food.“

They have a few TV’s there. And luckily for us it was happy hour. Reasonably priced. Great flatbread. Very thin & flavorful. Cocktails were done very well as well! Definitely will be back for that happy hour!!“

“It was my First time eating here and it was so good! The portion sizes overall were a great size for the price. Around $55 with Uber eats Texas delivery charges, and driver tip. I had the Birria quesadilla, the large portion of rice, Chips with queso, Tres leches cake, and the Horchata for my drink. I was hungry and I wanted to get the full experience of what the restaurant had to offer. Leftovers are always a bonus! For my first order, I ordered for delivery on Uber Eats. Despite being delivery, Everything was hot, fresh and well packaged. I will say the Birria quesadilla was a little soggy on the bottom, but it tasted fantastic! Some of the best Beria I’ve had. The queso tasted homemade, flavorful, fresh and delicious! The portion of the tortilla chips, took up an entire brown paper bag full! (in my opinion when I order Mexican food for delivery and I see a big brown paper bag stuffed completely full of seasoned tortilla chips, that’s how I know the rest of the food is going to taste amazing!) I love the small detail of the seasoned chips. It’s like putting sprinkles on a cupcake. It’s not needed, but it makes it better. Everything was flavorful and well seasoned. My Birria quesadilla came with small sides of guacamole, sour cream, and pico de gallo. Even though the food didn’t need it at all and was flavorful and delicious without it. A few small critique I can give is that Tres Leche cake piece that I got was extremely small unfortunately, which I wasn’t expecting. It was only three small bites if that, but it was really delicious! My second critique is, I wish they offered a bigger cup of Horchata like they have the larger option for the Rice. Horchata is one of my favorite drinks, but honestly I can’t complain too much because everything including the Horchata and Tres leches cake was so good! I guess my only complaint is that there wasn’t more Horchata and Tres Leches cake. The slightly soggy texture of the Birria quesadilla I contributed to the fact that it was delivered still hot in a Styrofoam container, & I don’t consider that the restaurants fault. if I was giving a rating I would still give it a 10 out of 10. 100 percent! I will be eating here again, these small critiques that I have would not even change my rating! And I have leftovers so there’s some bonus points!Delicious food with overall large portions for the price!You guys did a great job! “Visited twice while in Tampa for a convention, and both visits were exceptional. A big thank you to Devin and Andrew for being the perfect servers - your professionalism and courtesy were head and shoulders above any other place we ate at on our trip. While I really enjoyed the two "main" meals I had (the Gulf Gruper sandwich and the crab and shrimp enchiladas), I have to mention the teriyaki lightning wings...the sauce was so good I could have swum in it. Will definitely stop by again if I'm in the area!“

“Me and my family were in desperate need of a good deviled crab and found Pappy's. Let me tell you, Pappy's knows how to cook! Amazing deviled crabs, fantastic potato balls, the collards were perfect. We also ordered rasta pasta that we haven't dug into yet but I am sure it will be just as good as everything else. The staff helping us were so friendly and even offered us a cup of what I can only describe as back in the day polar cup which made our day. We will be back every time we come to town to visit!“

I order food there almost on a daily basis, but sometimes i feel like eating something different that isn't in their menu... guess what these guys always find a way to make me happy and go beyond to do so, even making those things that they normally don't sale and isn't even in their menu... and guess what compared to places that do have the exact same item in their Menu Billy's is way better! i think that says it all ... their establishment might be humble but the quality of their food is that of the best anywhere in Town.. “This was a Sunday evening in the bar side. The Anniversary dessert tray and rose on the table were a great touch. One note about the valet. On Sunday night, the valet closes at 8:00 PM. We were seated at 6:30 and towards the end, this did feel rushed so I could get my car in time. I would suggest NOT using the valet for any seating after 6:00 PM.“
