“Went here for my 25th birthday celebration! My first Omakase experience which also happens to be a Michelin Star restaurant. It is $$$ experience ofc. Valet only and in the heart of midtown.

The restaurant itself is small but beautiful. Simple and elegant design. A very authentic experience. The service was immaculate. There is staff on the floor throughout the experience to answer any questions and to clean up. They were so nice that I asked for a Coke (yes I know) and they got it from next door.

The dishes were well curated and we had a wonderful chef who served us each piece of nigiri by hand. Each with a different flavor profile. The dessert was chef’s kiss. Why I deducted a point is because it wasn’t the best food I have ever had. It was unique yes, but the food was very mediocre. I would not pay that price again for the food I got.

“My fellow traveler and I stopped by on our way home to Virginia. It was a long day of travel, delayed flights, we just wanted to sit down and chill. We didn’t expect much out of an airport restaurant… But we were both blown away. Our server, Tarvis, was charming, professional, knowledgeable, and exceptional. The BLT with bacon jam, and the rice pudding with cinnamon and peaches was superb. (I could’ve eaten a whole jar of the bacon jam.) “As my friend and I walked in, we were immediately greeted by Dominick and we were seated in a very plush chair. We could see the entire room from where we were seated. The patrons were of all ages (no children). The ambience is of modern flare compared to the old world Japanese style and house music vibes gave the restaurant superb energy. We had the Nice Pear and Kinjo cocktails. They were beautifully executed and not too sweet. A very nice combination of flavors and herbs. We shared the Shrimp Tempura which was lightly breaded (yay!) We also had the Uni and the Spicy Tuna roll, all filled with scrumptious flavors and well presented. To top this off, we ate the Lady M cake and it was to die for. Very light, crisp, and melts in your mouth. Throughout the evening, Dominick was very attentive and made sure our visit was an outstanding one. Our waitress (I apologize I forgot your name) was very knowledgeable with the menu and prompt on getting our orders out. Kudos to Dominick, the waitress, the chef, and the bartender!“

While Sushi Yoko offers dishes closer to Japanese home cooking, this restaurant provides a more authentic dining experience. “Tomo is where to go for elevated sushi. There are lots of good or ok sushi restaurants in Atlanta, but we like to go there when we want great sushi. We started our meal with black cod, served hot and eaten like a lettuce wrap. The sweetness from the fish was incredible. We had some seaweed salad to transition to the crab jalapeno, which was ready crabmeat rolled in cucumber, serves on a light green jalapeno sauce. Simple and delicious. The spicy tuna on rice cakes was my favorite, balancing flavor and crunch. The kampachi tartar was brilliant, with diced kampachi and pine nuts mixed together, topped with green fish eggs, and a flavorful foam to spoon on top. Wow!“

“Let’s talk about EAV That & Sushi real quick. I’ve never really been a Thai food eater. I’ll eat it if that’s what the majority wants but I’ve never been the one to have to have it. Baby listen, EAV That & Sushi has me in a choke hold as the food is AMAZNG!!!! We were in the area as Shaunie said it is one of her favorite places to go, as such, we went. Walking in, the ambiance is really low key and has a great feel to it. It’s perfect for friends, dates, or even alone. After we walked in we were able to be seated immediately. Continuing to take in the ambiance, the feel was so chill. There was a game on each television and the music was playing in the background. Yep, I’m here for all of this. Upon taking our seats, I ordered a sweet tea and began to scroll the menu. Taking a moment to take in the menu as there are an abundance of options, I decided on the Spring Rolls as an Appetizer and Pad Thai as my Main Course. Clearly I played it safe. 😂😂😂 From seating us to taking out drink and food orders, our waiter was super nice. He was professional, very educated on the menu offerings and kept a smile the entire time. Not to mention, we weren’t his only table yet he was on top of his game and provided top tier service. Once my food came I was immediately drawn into the aroma. The Thai Spices mixed with the Sweet smells of the sauce made me extra happy inside. LoL. The Spring Rolls were good. They were crunchy loo Upon first bite I almost melted. Whew! I have NEVER in all my years had a Pad Thai this amazing. I’m talking about perfectly cooked noodles. Optimum noodle to meat to sauce ratio. And best of all, the peanuts were coated in the sauce and not only acted as the extra layer of texture, but their flavor profile was enhanced which allowed the dish to have a multi-flavor blend of sweet, salty, and nutty. Omggggggg. I want moreeeeeeeeee. The dish arrived hot and was very fresh. This wasn’t no quick boil or reheated dish, no. This was freshly made when I ordered it and whoever the chef was is amazing at their job. Dear Chef, your ability to cook Pad Thai is beyond normal. Your supernatural flavor elevated dish was exciting, mouth pleasing, and has made me eager to return to EAV That & Sushi. “Finally was able to try the downtown location during lunch recently and I loved it! I have ordered delivery multiple times and enjoyed the food. My cashier Jasmyn was lovely and made sure I was taken care of. Very clean atmosphere.
Only complaint that made me take away 1 star was because there was a young boy there making comments about Nazis among other things I could not clearly make out. It was just clear he was making the other two young ladies working with him uncomfortable.“

There’s a separate sushi bar that I’m related to the miso ko restaurant. I sort of wish that you could sit inside the miso side and have your sushi. Service because we had to ask for it after a little while even after sort of standing there looking confused the host just didn’t really say anything much well she didn’t say anything. They could do something to draw people in probably if I was to get a five stars for atmosphere like a little café table or even roping it off. Come on you can think of something I had to use Google walking directions to find the place after I walked into the pot city market. Parked pretty close to the entrance and there’s a QR code to scam for a map, but it’s not as helpful as you might think you can also pay for your parking with the QR code.“

Although not detailed in its menu, you can in fact get fish fried as an option. Although we came on a non-busy weeknight, our server was courteous, pleasant, and attentive. I liked the layout of the restaurant. It kind of has a bit of upscale family-type feel to it. The place is not particularly quiet, so not a great venue for a first or romantic date. Portions are decently sized, of great quality, and there's quite a variety of fish to choose from. Overall, I'd say a 4-star, with 5-star being the full-service, high-end, expensive restaurants.“
