“Went here for my 25th birthday celebration! My first Omakase experience which also happens to be a Michelin Star restaurant. It is $$$ experience ofc. Valet only and in the heart of midtown.

The restaurant itself is small but beautiful. Simple and elegant design. A very authentic experience. The service was immaculate. There is staff on the floor throughout the experience to answer any questions and to clean up. They were so nice that I asked for a Coke (yes I know) and they got it from next door.

The dishes were well curated and we had a wonderful chef who served us each piece of nigiri by hand. Each with a different flavor profile. The dessert was chef’s kiss. Why I deducted a point is because it wasn’t the best food I have ever had. It was unique yes, but the food was very mediocre. I would not pay that price again for the food I got.

Every time we took a bite of whatever Yun gave us we closed our eyes and sat back in our chairs and started moaning. “As my friend and I walked in, we were immediately greeted by Dominick and we were seated in a very plush chair. We could see the entire room from where we were seated. The patrons were of all ages (no children). The ambience is of modern flare compared to the old world Japanese style and house music vibes gave the restaurant superb energy. We had the Nice Pear and Kinjo cocktails. They were beautifully executed and not too sweet. A very nice combination of flavors and herbs. We shared the Shrimp Tempura which was lightly breaded (yay!) We also had the Uni and the Spicy Tuna roll, all filled with scrumptious flavors and well presented. To top this off, we ate the Lady M cake and it was to die for. Very light, crisp, and melts in your mouth. Throughout the evening, Dominick was very attentive and made sure our visit was an outstanding one. Our waitress (I apologize I forgot your name) was very knowledgeable with the menu and prompt on getting our orders out. Kudos to Dominick, the waitress, the chef, and the bartender!“

I must say all the reviews online did not come close to capturing the undeniable reality, TOMO is simply the best Japanese resturant in Atlanta if not the entire US. “Classic Japanese restaurant. The fish quality is on par with the very expensive restaurants in town. This is just a no frills really solid sushi spot.

We typically order the fried octopus appetizer and 21 pieces of Sashimi. We get out the door for around $100.

I'd be willing to bet they have the same fish suppliers as Umai and Eight.

“One of the BEST dining experiences I have had in a long time. My husband and I went last night for our 2nd anniversary and everything from the ambiance, service, food was AMAZING. Our server Coy / Koi (sorry if misspelled) was absolutely amazing and made great recommendations to us. He was incredibly attentive and made sure we got all of our food and drinks in a timely manner. We started with the Rock Shrimp Tempura, Cucumber & Seaweed Salad, and Yellowtail Appetizer. This was our first time trying yellowtail and it did not disappoint. The salad was also INSANE - so refreshing and bright! For mains, we had the Lobster Tempura Roll, New Age Roll (hubby’s fave), and Surf & Turf Roll (my fave). We finished with the “Donut Touch my Donut” and Matcha Icecream. The donut had a nice chewy / mochi-like bite with a crispy exterior. Cannot express enough how great everything was - totally worth every penny!“

“Love this restaurant. Fly to PDK ATLANTA every month. The plane lands at 11 and by noon I am sitting with family and friends enjoying one of my favorite restaurants. The serving staff is excellent. Food is always consistently great. I've seen other reviews complain about the prices but I find the prices consistent with other sushi restaurants but the food and service here far exceeds most. Best value, for highest quality freshest fish.

Baby listen, EAV That & Sushi has me in a choke hold as the food is AMAZNG!!!! We were in the area as Shaunie said it is one of her favorite places to go, as such, we went. Walking in, the ambiance is really low key and has a great feel to it. It’s perfect for friends, dates, or even alone. After we walked in we were able to be seated immediately. Continuing to take in the ambiance, the feel was so chill. There was a game on each television and the music was playing in the background. Yep, I’m here for all of this. Upon taking our seats, I ordered a sweet tea and began to scroll the menu. Taking a moment to take in the menu as there are an abundance of options, I decided on the Spring Rolls as an Appetizer and Pad Thai as my Main Course. Clearly I played it safe. 😂😂😂 From seating us to taking out drink and food orders, our waiter was super nice. He was professional, very educated on the menu offerings and kept a smile the entire time. Not to mention, we weren’t his only table yet he was on top of his game and provided top tier service. Once my food came I was immediately drawn into the aroma. The Thai Spices mixed with the Sweet smells of the sauce made me extra happy inside. LoL. The Spring Rolls were good. They were crunchy loo Upon first bite I almost melted. Whew! I have NEVER in all my years had a Pad Thai this amazing. I’m talking about perfectly cooked noodles. Optimum noodle to meat to sauce ratio. And best of all, the peanuts were coated in the sauce and not only acted as the extra layer of texture, but their flavor profile was enhanced which allowed the dish to have a multi-flavor blend of sweet, salty, and nutty. Omggggggg. I want moreeeeeeeeee. The dish arrived hot and was very fresh. This wasn’t no quick boil or reheated dish, no. This was freshly made when I ordered it and whoever the chef was is amazing at their job. Dear Chef, your ability to cook Pad Thai is beyond normal. Your supernatural flavor elevated dish was exciting, mouth pleasing, and has made me eager to return to EAV That & Sushi. “Finally was able to try the downtown location during lunch recently and I loved it! I have ordered delivery multiple times and enjoyed the food. My cashier Jasmyn was lovely and made sure I was taken care of. Very clean atmosphere.
Only complaint that made me take away 1 star was because there was a young boy there making comments about Nazis among other things I could not clearly make out. It was just clear he was making the other two young ladies working with him uncomfortable.“
