“ABSOLUTELY INSANE AND IMPECCABLE. The sandwiches are incredible omgggg and the service is so awesome. The lady was so nice she brought our food too in the busy market setting 🥹 I highly recommend the yams they are sooo tasty and the soul sandwich is just soooo great“

“The chicken was cooked fresh to order , I do think it could’ve been cooked slightly longer. I didn’t really care for the greens they tasted old but we did go around 7something p.m. The sweet potato pie was really SWEET too sweet for me. Great service !“

“Ordered late night after World Cup event around 10:30pm at my hotel downtown. Worth the wait the lemon pepper is my favorite with drum wings and fries. I hope to try again next time in Atlanta in comforts of hotel next time. Hope you invest back to bigger kitchen and more amazing food because I now see why the food magic city is great. “Very impressed with this place! From the moment we walked in, everyone was very welcoming. My biggest thing is TVs when I’m going somewhere to watch sports, and they definitely didn’t lack on that. They have a 100+ inch TV at one of the two bars, which is perfect for watching games.
A bar like this with liquor, good food, and a great setup for sporting events or just hanging out is definitely a good time. The bartenders/waitresses, Jamir and Jessica, were very welcoming and helpful with the menu.
We made it in about 5 minutes before happy hour was over, and they took care of us on the drinks, which I definitely appreciated. The food came out way faster than expected. I thought it was going to take longer, but everything came out right on time.
Food was an 8/10 overall. Nothing was overly seasoned, iykyk what I’m talking about 😂.
I also got the chance to speak with the owner, Marie, and she was very cool. Had a great conversation with her, and one thing I can definitely say is she LOVES and trusts her staff. Believe me, you can tell.
I’ll most likely become a regular here. Definitely found a new spot to hang out, watch games, and grab some good food and drinks. 🍻🏀📺

“It’s always service with a smile and the food is OUTSTANDING. From the jerk chicken and ribs to the curry chicken. The Mac and cheese is so good it made me cry a little! “I tried this place for lunch and I am glad I made the trip. Their service was friendly and answered my questions about possible options to get. I went with the jerk ribs rice & peas cabbage and a side of plantains. The only thing that was left were the bones. Sure enough some of that sauce was on my shirt. If you pick up the ribs with your hands just be ready to catch them with your plate. They fall off the bone type of ribs. There was some bbq sauce but blended well with the season. The cabbage was seasoned and tasted freshly cooked. Let's talk about the plantains. Perfectly cut and cooked. I can't even get that can of plantain quality in a Spanish restaurant. Best I have had. They do have a lunch special and plenty of side options. My only regret is not trying their juice. Next time I am trying the jerk chicken and stew.“

“ordered catering for my job, and let’s just say my coworkers aren’t exactly used to soul food like this. When they tried the pot roast and that creamy, flavorful mac & cheese, one of them literally said, “This is bursting with flavor!” 😂
Now every Friday, it’s a done deal — we make sure we cater Trey da Chef. It’s officially a tradition. Food hits every single time. Highly recommend if you want to introduce your office to real seasoning and Southern comfort done right.“

“When I first came in I smelled the aroma of what I will soon to know of the best food I’ve tasted in a while. I was greeted with a welcome home which instantly made me comfortable. I ordered the big back burrito and the man behind the counter offered me to try their new lemonade FREE OF CHARGE. Customer Service was amazing. The place was clean and well lit and the bathrooms were extremely clean. I got my burrito in 5 - 10 minutes and it was the BEST burrito I’ve ever had. 10/10 would recommend.“

“I visited this restaurant on a Thursday evening and the restaurant had a brisk clientele. The waitress came to our table immediately and asked for our drink orders and brought them back very quickly. I ordered the above items and in less than 15minutes i had my order and it was hot and seasoned to perfection. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone that wants a quick wholesome meal, with all taste you remember from growing up.“

“I am so glad I found this gem!! I just moved to Atlanta from Boston (where there’s Haitian food everywhere) so I was little bummed out that there aren’t really Haitian spots out here. But my girlfriend found this place on IG and sent it my way. I ordered online and got the griot plate which comes with the diri kole (rice and beans) and the banan peze (fried plantains) with a side of salad and pikliz. Also ordered a side of the j*** chicken pasta which came with some delicious bread, my order also came with a lemonade and it was one of the best lemonade I ever had. EVERYTHING was delicious the griot was cooked very well still nice and tender people tend to overcook griot but this here was perfect! Portion is great! It’s a 10/10 for me and will not mind making that 30+ minute drive in Atlanta traffic to get it.My only suggestion would be to give the sauce on the side as opposed to putting it on the rice and having Dressing for the salad.Thank you Ted for a great meal, you definitely have a frequent customer now.“

“I was studying with a couple of friends and we decided to order from soul foodies. I usually don't wrote reviews or give five stars but boy when I tell you the food was just so good. I got the Jerk Chicken Pasta, one of my friends got the Nola Soul rice bowl, we also shared a side of mac n cheese. the portions were more than genrous. I had food left for tomorows lunch 10/10 recommend and I will deifnently be back again.“
