“I stopped in for a quick lunch and ordered the best Parmesan Chicken I’ve ever had. Meghan (sp?) was my server, she’s extremely pleasant and thorough without pestering you. She just kind of appears when you need her. The food and service at Corner Cafe has always been excellent. The other day both were outstanding.”

“A friend put me on this spot. not far from where I work so I stopped by to check em out. I got their Grits ( which were great, not runny not to solid, just right), their Chicken Sausage which were plump tasted really good, they say they make them from scratch, and if you get store bought chicken sausage and theirs, you will notice a difference, I got their Hash Browns which had that nice crust but underneath was soft potatoes, well seasoned, and I had their Tacos with steak which was excellent, especially paired with their green Chile salsa and the lime you can squeeze. All that for 20 bucks...good eats.....real good.

Side note-now when I pulled up to the place it was 5 squad cars deep. Walked in and in the back officers eating and chilling. This place- if it has law enforcement coming-not in pairs or ones or twos, but squads-ya might wanna see bout them, just saying. Good food is good food.”

“Met a buddy in Griffin - halfway between my town and his. I googled restaurants in the area, we are both hamburger fans, and Smash Burger Bar showed up on my search. I had the Grip City, he had the Eggscellent... we both went with double Patty. Had some onion rings and the loaded tater tots. The food was fabulous. The staff was great. Personable and accommodating. A five out of five experience for us, we will definitely meet up there again. Highly recommend.!”

I had such a great experience at 7 Brew! I especially want to shout out Kingston. He makes some seriously delicious drinks and pays such close attention to detail. You can tell he genuinely cares about the quality of what he’s making, and everything is made so neatly and thoughtfully.

Even with how busy the store gets, Kingston still gives you his full attention and makes you feel welcomed instead of rushed. He’s incredibly kind, caring, and has such a positive energy and attitude. I also really appreciate that he takes the time to suggest new drinks and combinations to try—you can tell he knows the menu and actually enjoys helping customers find something they’ll love.

“Healthy options in more ways than one! My name is Danielle, I had a Drs appt this morning in Griffin. Long story short, my mom got out of my car at Sock Shop. I am diabetic and after driving around, stopping at Louise’s (going in, wandering then leaving) I ended up at Waffle House #2212 (Taylor St) my sugar had bottomed out and I couldn’t talk, see well, or converse. The waitress Jess was so sweet. She kept asking me questions and brought me a plate of food showing me how to eat & drink. The manager John helped me get my phone out & called my family. Guys, when I say I couldn’t talk, it was BAD. I was in a trance. Jess & John took care of me, called an ambulance to check me out. My sugar started rising so I started to come around. My faith in HUMANITY has been restored. I don’t know where I would’ve ended up if not for their compassion! Thank you Jess & John, I will be a regular visitor when I can in the future.”

My review is on the kindness of the employees at Bank St. I was holding a table for 4 and had just got my drink when I got an emergency call and needed to leave. My mom is disabled and the associate that was working that day was really great with helping her pick out what kind of beans to get, and they tasted great. “Normally I give this Dairy Queen a five star, HOWEVER. My husband and I went through the drive through and ordered 2 Large turtle blizzard add strawberry Blizzard $17.29 later , we got home NO strawberry (which is extra $) and normally I would let it go however I paid way to much to not get it the way we wanted, as well as about a third of the cup at the bottom was completely just white ice cream, Ohhh and I should’ve known something was up when they didn’t do the turn upside down thingy that they do and had a top on it and no receipt as well, anyways so I called and spoke to a really nice young girl and she said the that owner wasn’t in (he also owns Marco’s Pizza) that he wouldn’t be in until next week. She asked if I would like to speak to the shift manager and I said sure she said okay he’s right here, I heard him say something and she said ohh I’m sorry he said that he’s really busy right now and she said do you want to call back later…. Well it was wild that he said he was to busy, but in My mind I was like okay, as a manager (which I have been before) you are to ask for the Customers name and number for YOU to call back and make it right , this guy was a real gem 🤦🏻‍♀… so I’m hoping that the Owner sees this and handles maybe giving the guy a class on proper management responsibilities and actions towards customers!

Edit for August 8, 2026. Went again for lunch for the same type of pizza because of how enjoyable it was the night before and though still pretty good. This time i did not receive the garlic crust with the parm on top, nor did I receive my garlic sauce cup. Unfortunately its not consistent with how its made.”

The decor takes me back to the show Happy Days with the Fonz (Henry Winkler). They even feature a stuffed cool cow on a motorcycle set at eye level for everyone to see & admire. Of course the entire Team is awesome! It’s our home away from home. It’s an experience you don’t want to miss!”

“El Charro will always hold a place in my heart. At 33 years old I've been coming here since I was a small child. There are very few constants in life and for me, El Charro has always be just that. We aren't talking about a 5 star Mexican restaurant, but a wonderful, affordable and welcoming family experience. That's what you can always expect and get when you visit. Even in my adult years as I've gotten older and moved away from griffin, I always make it a point to visit for some fajitas and an ice cold margarita. We didn't know if we'd make it there in time but the relief we felt when we realized they were still open was unmatched. The woman working the drive-thru was incredibly kind and welcoming. We ordered two baja blasts, a quesadilla, and a crunchwrap. Even with how close to closing it was, the food came out fast and exactly right. It almost made me cry with joy. Olivia definitely made it worth the wait. A beautiful glowing female that had an attitude that smiled larger than her face!
She apologized n told me they don't offer pink lemonade. And she wasn't sure y they put that on their location. I wanted regular lemonade, but the app didn't offer it.
