“Nice beachfront place with mediocre food and solid service. Shrimp were fine, fish was mushy, and fried oysters were a soggy clump. Fries were ok, coleslaw slaw was fine but small portion, for $52. Lots of better places to go! Deviled eggs were very heavy with closing pimento cheese spread. Drinks are good, but $18 to $20. Skippable.“

“The Georgian Room at Sea Island was a truly fantastic experience from start to finish. Everything about the meal felt thoughtful, polished, and beautifully done. The food was delicious, the setting was elegant, and the entire atmosphere felt special without being stiff.

Willy was amazing and really made the night memorable. He remembered every detail about us, was incredibly thoughtful and personable, and made the service feel warm and genuine. The rest of the staff were excellent as well — attentive, professional, and seamless throughout the entire meal.

The space itself is beautiful. The renovation feels immaculate, with a lovely atmosphere that matches the quality of the food and service. Everything felt refined, comfortable, and very well executed.

“We have visited Crabdaddy’s several times over the years and decided on my birthday celebration here for 2026 while on vacation. The crab soup is the best I’ve had in Georgia. Crab legs are always a hit; steamed to perfection. Word of advice - open your meal with the grit fritters. Staff made me feel special and thought of for my 39th!“

We were visiting this week with family friends and enjoying all of the beauty that the Golden Isles have to offer. This being a beach trip, we knew we had to prepare a few seafood dishes to round out our days relaxing seaside.

Greeted by a wonderful local selection, we narrowed down our decision to shrimp & mahi mahi. The service was excellent, with staff very willing to advise and ensure we received the highest quality seafood in town at a very reasonable price. We highly recommend the peeled & deveined shrimp for ease of preparation.

Out of our St Simons Seafood purchases we enjoyed a lovely shrimp étouffée, and grilled mahi mahi paired with a quinoa salad and greens. Both fish were fresh and delicious! We will definitely be stopping by again when we return to the area.“

“Eating breakfast here was a glorious experience, echoing grandeur of the Gilded Age through the opulent Roaring Twenties.

My family and I had breakfast reservations for four at 8:30am on a weekday. The dining room was set to perfection as we were greeted with a welcoming smile and offered to pick any table we preferred. We selected a table by the window. It was wonderful to see a dining room set with fine China again. It seems rare nowadays.

Once settled, we were promptly offered tea, coffee, or a collection of juices before embarking on the breakfast buffet and omelet station. There were no lines yet being so early on a weekday, but my oh my, what a beautiful feast! I was apprehensive that the food would be generic given the continental selection, but I was pleasantly impressed by the tastes, presentations, and twists to the menu. The French toast and overnight oats were my favorite, with a close third place by the bacon.

In addition to the delicious food, the wait staff was attentive and happy. The tables were nicely spaced to keep the dining room at a quiet noise level. And the coffee and pots of tea kept flowing. A big plus!

The only negative I can find with my dining experience is that I was mistaken that the extra fruit juices I ordered a la carte were part of the breakfast buffet. I wish I had known that only the juices on the buffet tables were included. However, when you are dining at such a fine dining establishment, you do not mind the extra price.

“We were staying on the island five days and discovered this restaurant the last night. It was the best food we tasted, the service was great, and the prices and quantity! Oh - and a great view! There were four of us and we all order something different along with appetizers!!! Everything was delicious!!!!! The only negative was it was our last night and we couldn’t go back the next day!!! We will definitely go again when visiting the island!!!“

Service was average, I had called days in advance to reserve indoor window seating to celebrate our Anniversary. I had planned a whole “thing” I was going to do near the stunning view of the window for the wife. When we arrived they pulled our information and one lady asked us “indoor or outdoor?” The other hostess told her the system said “indoor with window seating” and gave her a look of disappointment. As they walked me to my sitting area it was not window seating and table was wobbly. I was unable to do my whole “thing” I had planned and just started off the evening not on a good start, but drinks made up for it 🤷‍♂️😒“

After waiting 55 minutes we inquired about our order and learned from the hostess there was no “cook” in the kitchen. This became apparent when we noticed only one table in the entire restaurant, both inside and outside, had food on the table. Sadly, the food we did see didn’t look particularly good either. “I stopped in on my way out of Jekyll Island while I was here on vacation. Absolutely amazing. My server Anna was fantastic - so friendly and attentive! I had my two small dogs with me and they were immediately so welcoming. By far the best part is that they have a screened in outdoor shaded porch and you can see the ocean. It made everything just so much more enjoyable for me and my pups. I got oysters, which are some of the best I’ve ever had and I’m from New England. And I also had the crab legs which were phenomenal. Genuinely very kind staff and so accommodating for my pups. Made sure they had water and even gave them some little pup cups to enjoy! Highly recommend stopping here if you’re ever on Jekyll Island“
