“Our second trip to GSG was not as pleasant as the first. Our table was plagued with several flies that harassed us our entire meal, I actually dispatched an ant crawling on the table too. Our smoked fish dip appetizer was extremely “fishy” like it was made with mullet or something. It was not good. We each tried one taste and left it alone. The crab stew was great. My triple tail special was great. My daughter’s bacon poached salmon was supposed to be prepared medium, but it was rare…very. So, I wound up trading her a portion of my dinner so she would not have to eat almost raw fish. Overall, I expected much more consistent greatness given the difficulty we have had obtaining a reservation. Disappointed“

“We chose Iguanas for my Father-In-Laws birthday lunch. It was delicious as always. Everything this fresh. Jordan was our server and he was phenomenal. You don't usually get good service from a young server. I hear about the bacon wrapped shrimp on the radio every morning and it was delicious“

“We googled good seafood on our stay in St. Simons and Jinrights popped up and we are so glad it did. Not only was the food delicious, the staff was great, and the portions were huge! They were short staffed the night we went and ended up having to close early but their staff still went above and beyond to make sure we had a good experience. The food was phenomenal. My husband and I shared the platter for 2 and had it broiled. When they ask if you want scallops and oysters, just say yes! The kids meals were good and kept them happy and bellies full. The prices are comparable to those more popular places on the island, but the food quantity does not compare!We will definitely be back next time we are in town!!“

“We had the great pleasure of venturing forth into this little piece of heaven last weekend. My sister and I met two long-term customers who guided us to our order, which was PERFECTION! Prepared shrimp, homemade cocktail sauce, crab dip - are you kidding me? SO DELICIOUS! We're coming back to SSI this weekend and you can guess my first stop? St. Simons Seafood. It is truly out of this world. I'm excited to get the crab cakes this time. We were told that they're "out of this world". “The service was 100% better (at the bar) than Crabdaddys. There is no comparison!! The food is different at both restaurants, but I would go back to Crabtrap if sitting at the bar. The Crab Soup was also100% better at Crabtrap. At least you will be waited on and even acknowledge when sitting at the bar.“

“I had a great experience at Coastal Grill, it is kind of hard to find, hidden behind Holiday Inn. We ordered the crab cake, fish and spicy chicken tacos, pretzel, and pizza. The crab cake burger was good, and the spicy chicken taco was also pretty good but the fish taco was lacking some flavor and was kind of dry. The pretzel was also good, it comes with 2 cheese dips, and the pizza was very cheesy.?“

Wheelchair accessibility: There is an elevator to the restroom and an elevator to get up at the lobby, but the restroom is tight for a wheelchair.“

She answered all of our questions and always had a smile on her face. I cannot remember her name which I am so sorry but from the look at it everyone looked as if they loved working there. “Best restaurant in Georgia Everything on the menu is fresh, delicious, healthy and reasonably priced. I live on Saint Simons Island and eat there almost every day. After waiting 55 minutes we inquired about our order and learned from the hostess there was no “cook” in the kitchen. This became apparent when we noticed only one table in the entire restaurant, both inside and outside, had food on the table. Sadly, the food we did see didn’t look particularly good either. “The Crab BLT is by far the best crab cake I've ever had in 26 years. One bite and I was sold. Fresh, well cooked, not over seasoned. My partner enjoyed the BBQ Loaded Fries. Good food for great prices and it came out really fast and fresh. Atmosphere was quiet and friendly. Service was really friendly, but kinda AWOL majority of the time.“

“I had the pasta marinara. It was very hot when it came out which is great. The marinara had great flavor. The first basket of bread that came out was not very fresh but the next basket was much better. The creme brûlée was a wonderful ending to the meal.“

Fair prices and one of the most unique and elevated southern menus you will find anywhere. They’ve had a total transformation since they changed management and brought in a new chef. Must try.“

“Been here before. This place is a sleeper. Atmosphere is great. So much potential! Dinner here this evening with my wife and I splitting the 16-oz prime rib. Martini was spot on! The sides were delicious. We ordered the prime rib "medium-rare". It came to us more like well-done. Little disappointed, thinking any cook would "get it". It was still very good and we ate it up. We did let the server, Brittany, know. She, btw, was super good and deserved our tip. Would we go again? Absolutely! Again, with a little fine-tuning, I think this spot could kill it!“
