“So far this is my favorite L&L. We had just arrived in the area and decided to stop for lunch in-between lease signing and venturing the staff was friendly and made us feel very welcomed. The food was great. Highly recommend this L&L Location.“

“I have been here twice; once for breakfast and once for plate lunch. Both were solid meals, good portions and I got out under $15. I had a Portuguese sausage omelet for breakfast and chicken katsu curry for lunch. The picture is half way through the regular size portion. The interior doesn't have a lot of seating but it's clean and air conditioned.. . I highly recommend this Ewa Beach hole in the wall. Plus they cater. Ono-licious.“

“Best hashbrowns - ever! Breakfast here is always the crowd pleaser. I’ve taken all my ohana here and everyone has been happy. Great menu, extensive sides, rice, mac salad, and no meat options for vegetarians - everything you’d expect on a breakfast menu and more. The best the coffee too!“

“If you want a good poke' place, look to Monarch Poke' ... this is one of the few places we frequent, we always grab Poke' Nachos here wether it be the garlic chili oil ahi and the furikake salmon Poke' Nachos, or just going for a simple California Poke' Bowl. They pack quite a punch to your hankering for food. As for me, my favorite thing to grab is their ube cheesecake. :)
So if you're in need of a good suggestion for poke' bowls other than your typical Foodland Poke' Bowls 🥣 this place is definitely on that map of suggestions. :D
As they have tables for you to enjoy your bowl and just relax for a while.“
“Out of the way from Honolulu but worth the trip. Entertained from pick up to drop off. Performance was very well done. The dancing, food is amazing and the fire finale was the icing on the cake. The really make you feel like family and share their culture with you“

“Perfect spot for home cooked food arriving from the airport, or leaving, and even to call and order take out and eat when you get to your accommodation. Parking is pretty difficult, the lot is small on a busy street, there’s some street parking but can get busy. This was our first stop arriving on a Wednesday afternoon. They’re closed Saturday-Monday so weekdays are the best. You can sign up on waitlist on Yelp and make sure you wait outside after signing in, we made that mistake and walked in not knowing. They have QR codes for the menu. We didn’t know that the Menu sets A-C are recommended for one person. For a group of 4 the server understood what we meant and made our orders family style. We for sure wanted to try their short ribs, kalua pig, limo salmon, luau chicken, Mac salad, rice, and had to have my friends try poi. They also gave us a coconut dessert since it was our first time. There were onions and salt to go with the kalua pork.
Their short ribs pipikaula style were so good, they were like the perfect crispiness of a short rib that I didn’t expect! Service and hospitality were great. Drooling while writing this review.“

“We had stumbled on Camille's Restaurant and we fell in love with the food and the owners. Recently our Mom passed away and immediately Camille's came to mind for the catering because their food feeds the soul...they cook from the heart and it translates into the flavors of the food. Everyone loved everything ...we had the Lau laus, kalua pig, BBQ chicken, and the smoked meat...everything was cooked and packed with so much love and care it was touching and it overwhelmed our hearts!!! THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH!!!“

“Kau Kau is serving up delicious grinds consistently. The BBQ sauce on the ribs is some of the best I've ever tasted. Mac salad is kept separately so it doesn't get warm sitting next to the ribs and rice. Prices are fair. If you have never been, I strongly suggest you try it. The whole menu on point.“

“Take out only. The have a vast variety of manapua, both steamed and baked. Staff is very friendly, efficient and puts a smile on my face. Makes a great impression when you are walking into a meeting, gathering, etc cause although everyone loves manapua, pork hash, half moon, rice cake, etc. Most people never think about this option which is far superior to donuts or other pastries.“

“Restaurant outlet inside Four Seasons Hotel Oahu. This is also the restaurant for serving breakfast. Breakfast can be buffet or a la carte. Buffet selection is pretty good. Although the best breakfast buffet I found was at Four Seasons Bangkok. Fresh juices are served here. A bit disappointing that they do not serve any breakfast steak or some sort of....“

“This is the perfect hidden food place that locals go to. Good food, good prices and the service is practically non existent. Meaning, it's 99% take out. There is a small table outside but that's why it's cool. No nonsense food at a good price. I highly recommend the Bento #1, the Katsu and the fried chicken.
Parking: The parking is hard to find but if you wait for a few minutes someone will leave.“

“We went to this location on Tuesday 7/29/2025 when they had the Tsunami scare. We live on the Waianae coast & had just spent 2 1/2 hours in traffic just to get to our toddler at daycare. We didnt make it in time to go home before the first wave was predicted to hit, it was too late to try to get to our pups in Waianae, so we decided we needed to stop somewhere to eat, far outside the tsunami zone.
We don't have much family here, so we really didnt have anywhere else to go. As we ate, we sat there distracted, speaking of everything we would lose. Worried, anxious, sad, etc.,
Our waitress was very kind & friendly. My daughter kept asking about the token machine & when we were done eating, she brought her a token. She didnt have to but she did and that was super sweet of her. I wish I remembered her name. It was a small act of kindness, but it meant a lot & we really appreciated it.
We had the spaghetti and meat sauce with garlic bread & it was delicious. My husband ordered the Korean Fried chicken and it was delicious as well. The desserts were delicious as well. This was our first time at this location and we definitely appreciate & enjoyed it.
Definitely recommend going here. Great service.“

“Penny's is a classic mom and pop's shop with delicious Hawaiian classics. My partner and I tried their garlic chicken and loco moco and were blown away. And they are right about how their service came with a personal touch. After we were done with our meal, the owner was thoughtful enough to welcome us to the island with lei and fruit medley and lemon peel. I would 10/10 recommend!“
“Great place to be 👍 The mall is very nice and lots of parking too!“
“So much fun! Great food with a great show! So many activities prior to dinner! Loved it!“

“Honestly: I’m disappointed in *myself* for not finding this place sooner! Got the loco moco plate and let me just say- it’s not only packed full of food, but it’s also packed full of FLAVOR! The mac salad was absolutely on point as well. The young lady that assisted me at the counter, Taney, was an absolute delight, and shared her insight on the best “go-to” items on the menu with an added twist. :) I’m already excited for what I’ll try next!“

“This is the best luau on Oahu. It's better than every major luau in Waikiki, Honolulu, and everywhere else on the island.
It truly feels special from start to finish with the operational excellence for large crowds that Disney resorts know how to do better than anyone. There's a reason why you need to
make reservations around 5 months in advance.
Unlike many mass produced luaus, the food at Ka Wa'a is actually good. Really good. The sweet potatoes, prime rib, kalua style pork (which I normally don't even like!), all the way to the desserts, all delicious. Far better than something like Paina Waikiki, which is not great and makes you wonder why you paid so much for some of the worst Hawaiian food you've ever had. You pay more for Ka Wa'a, and you probably drive further out of town than you planned to for a luau, but you will have no regrets.
The nighttime show is perfectly timed. First hour is for check-in and activities, including temporary tattoos, ukeleles, grinding taro, and grabbing drinks. At 6:00 PM, the first tables are called for the buffet. Preferred seating eats first, but the lines move fast and there's time for seconds. At 7:00, the show starts, and that's where it all comes together in a beautiful raised stage setup where nearly every seat is a good one.
The show features such talented performers that really make the night magical. They present memorable stories of Hawaii and all of the musicians are top notch.
Pro tip: Mickey and Minnie only show up to do one dance on stage, and they don't stick around for photos (would be impossible with a crowd this size), so show up early, check the video boards for their character schedules, check in to the luau, leave, then find Mickey and Minnie from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM for a photo. After getting a very relaxed, enjoyable photo, head back into the luau with plenty of time to spare for activities and dinner.
I've been to Oahu many times, and this is the only luau I've seen that I would recommend to anyone and describe as truly magical and 100% worth it.“

“Went before da lunch rush. Had the katsu curry special of day $12.99. Was big portions, but the curry sauce wasn't on the katsu (but they gave katsu sauce too). I asked the guy if can put curry on the katsu & he did! It was the counter girls first day & she didn't really have a trainer so took Lil long but I gave her a tip anyway bc she was just thrown in front & trying. Was so big I saved half my plate!“

“Stumbled upon the food trucks when we were in the area. Decided to try this one out, which turned out to be good. The special was a steak dish and also had the pork/chicken combo.
Everything was pretty good, however the menu song doesn’t let you know everything you are getting. I didn’t know the chicken was with noodles, the special didn’t specify the sides, etc.
In any event, enjoyed it all (even though the Mac salad is like 45% mayo)
Would definitely get the kalua pork and absolutely would get the steak special again. It was my favourite.“

“The sushi in this place is great. Service was a little slow and they never refilled the water glass .
Atmosphere at night is okay, but they need better lighting. Even though there was a light at the table it wasn’t enough light to see the menu or in my case to see the food I was eating. Live music is a nice touch.“

“I'm so glad Loco Moco Drive Inn opened Kapahulu. Right there in front Safeway. So delicious, convenient and super nice people. Got the best local & Chinese-style foods on island in my opinion. Great prices too. They also open to 3am, so if you need late night grinds gotta go check em out. Mahalo to the owner.“

“Friendly service. Good selection of food and drinks. Glad they have Brown rice. But, the vegetables in my beef bowl were cold. The amount of rice made it pleasantly filling and the beef was tasty, with an adequate portion.
I edited out the typos and the response by L&L disappeared. I appreciate someone from the company responding. Thanks.“
“Hands down best food we had on Oahu. Fresh, beautiful, balanced flavors and unique menu options. We’ll be back for sure!“

“Like many other L&Ls the restaurant does look a little out of shape and run down but don’t let that fool you from coming. You will get fast service and very reasonably priced yummy food that’s packed full of flavor and handled by nice staff. It’s great to visit family in Hawaii once a year and go back to your favorites. And this place totally delivers in quality and flavor.
Parking: Be patient and you will have a parking spot.
Wheelchair accessibility: Level door and plenty of space for a wheel chair.“

“Even when times are tough, it's nice to see Miki's is still going strong. Simple teri meatballs and laulau are a real comfort. Same with the pastele. They only open late night and while it might seem sketch if you're not from the area, it's just quiet.“

“West Side Bar is definitely a vibe. The atmosphere is fun, welcoming, and the perfect spot to relax, whether you’re out with friends or just stopping by for a drink. The energy in the place really stands out and makes you want to stay longer.
If Tina is working the tabs, you’re in great hands. She is absolutely amazing—friendly, attentive, and on top of everything. Drinks come out fast, she remembers what you like, and she makes everyone feel welcome. Her positive energy and great service really elevate the whole experience. Between the great vibe and Tina behind the bar, West Side Bar is easily one of the best spots to hang out.“

“Saw a review of this place on YouTube and I had to come and try it for myself. To be honest, it did not disappoint. It reminds me of an old diner like style that reminds me of a vintage restaurant. It also reminds me of my family's restaurant back home where most people go for the one special dish. There special dish is their ox tail soup and I can definitely say that it is amazing. Of course this is my opinion, but it has amazing flavor and taste! Would love to bring my family here and most definitely would eat here again. Service was pretty good and the place gets very busy. We had a little wait until we were seated but overall it was worth the wait. Would recommend this place to anyone that would like home style cooked food.“

“frequently go to this place to pick up food orders. I haven't had the pleasure of eating here, but it's certainly an excellent place. The staff is amazing, always welcoming you with the greatest disposition, respect, cordiality, and kindness. There's a very young woman who wouldn't be able to scoff if someone made a mistake with their order or a drink. The lady who serves as host is undoubtedly a great employee. I hope her bosses value them highly because this place might not be as pleasant without them. Thank you for your work and effort.“
