We also got the hand cut fries with the garlic sauce the cashier suggested. That was so gooood too. It was also nice to find such a vegan friendly place. Worth a stop!”

“This are by far the best tacos we’ve had in the island. We tried the pastor ones, asada and mahi mahi and they were very good. The green salsa they had went great with the asada tacos. We are Mexicans and know about real tacos so we really recommend this place.”

“This is a very cool little place. Lots of local history. Great food! Great staff. They surve food on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday (we showed up Wednesday afternoon, but came back Thursday to try the food. We had the mushroom bombers (must try!) The shaggy roll (got to meet shaggy!) And the fish and chips (wahoo fish, Ono) Everything was delicious! The staff and the other patrons were very friendly. It's definitely worth stopping in when you are in Kapa'a. They also have karaoke, live music and dancing some nights! We define will be going back! Do yourself a favor and check it out!”

“Great local roaster that knows how to roast to bring out the natural varietal profile. This was our go to morning cup everyday while vacationing in Kauai. You can get any bean on the menu as a pour over. It was my first time trying coffees from Thailand and India. The baristas know how to pull an espresso shot. Nice crema and rich flavor. Not knocking the iconic Kauai Coffee, but if you like coffee that's roasted to bring out flavor profiles natural to the bean, Imua is the place for you. ☕”

“Really a great find. My wife and I came here on our first trip to Kauai 12 years ago, while out for a walk near our hotel. We just had to come back (it’s now 2024). Cool to see they’re still making really good food in this tiny shop off the main road. Note that they have a menu that’s bigger than what’s up on the big board. Try the meat jun.”

“We visited the store while on vacation and after visiting the lydgate beach. They were quick in making the entree within 5 minutes. We ordered bigger plate of chowmein, fried rice, Beijing beef, black pepper chicken with watermelon mango refresher. The prices in Hawaii are definitely more than other states for same chain.”

“One of the best Garlic Shrimp place on the island so far (we tried 8 others prior). Large shrimps (around 5 pieces) with shell on, head on. Comes hot, spicy, and garlicy. Friendly owner Nd quick service. Not too many shades to sit when it gets crowded.”

“A it hard to find but worth the effort. A bit set back at rhe back if a strip mall.The meads are not your typical meads. Not sweet. The tastings are well thought out. Tbr best way is to get a full flight of current offerings and a flight of aged and special offerings to taste through the differences.

“Situated on the 2nd floor of an old building with limited view of the ocean. The other side is open with high top tables and you overlook town/ mountains. Very beachy vibe and open air space. Music is loud even at 9am and servings are HUGE! Great spicy Bloody Mary and breakfast burrito - double the size I expected. Maybe not as unique or special food as Kountry Kitchen across the street but easy parking and no wait to be seated.”
