“Cosy Hawaiian ambient. Good location with beach side view. Surprisingly the beach is also a resting place of sea turtles.High quality foods, unfortunately not too many selections. The signature Kanpachi Macadamia nut crusted with crab and lobster is outstanding and never let you down. The Mama's Mah Tai is tasty and the presentation is quite unique. We are fortunate has been served by "Kaila", we believe she can be the best server on the island. Kaila has a very pleasant face, polite and knowledgeable. She has given us detail description of each dish that we have ordered, very professional. Our deserts were good. Chocolate Black Pearl and Coconut ice cream were tasty and very well garnished. We will definitely return to Mama's fish House next time when we visit Maui.Price is consider on the high side, but we believe each visit will bring you good memory to take home.“

“A bit noisy because of the wooden floors and active bar making blended drinks. But the service and locally sourced food is superb. There are other table locations within the restaurant that are probably quieter than the one we chose right up front at the windows.“

“So delicious! We love supporting a locally owned business. For pupus we got the poke bomb sliders and the spam wontons. The spam wontons were so yummy! Next time I am going to order two. The poke bomb slider were also delicious! For entrees we ordered the guava chicken and the hurricane mochiko chicken. I’m still thinking about the hurricane chicken! 10/10 recommend.“

“What a gem of a place! All natural ingredients grabbed our attention to experience a healthier shaved ice for our Hawaii vacation. The chill vibe kept us there. Thomas was awesome, super down to earth, and great to chat with. Make sure to splurge for the ice cream with macadamia nuts on the bottom of your shaved ice — it was mind blowing!“

“This place is tucked in, behind the Times grocery store, Nalu's is well worth, looking for. The food is amazing, the service is fast and the atmosphere, is open and comfortable. I had the best root veggie grain bowl, I've ever eaten. My husband had a poke dish that was cooked to perfection. Don't miss this place, it's a destination all on it's own.“

“A small little spot, but the food is good. I hate Mac salad, but I usually give it a small try to say I at least tried it. Tried the Mac salad here and it was yummy! The workers are friendly and patient as we were still deciding if we would dine in and if we wanted drinks or not. Me being a server, I know how it feels to be on the other side of the coin when customers are still making decisions during an order. I got the Kalua and fries. I love that the portion is generous. My chop steak was seasoned well and like I said, the Mac salad was ono. Next time I’m in search of food, I’ll be sure to stop by again.“

“I enjoyed eating here so much. The BBQ is delicious. Everything we had was juicey filled with flavor and was not drenched in sauce to hide the quality of the cuts of meat or the chefs ability to man the grill. The food was so good we drove across the island to have it one more time on our last day in “

“We enjoyed this restaurant very much. With a party of 17 it can be a challenge to serve so many efficiently. The staff excelled at their jobs serving delicious plates quickly with Aloha. The sushi chef is superb and the whole atmosphere here was joyful and welcoming. A must try... the Ube Creme Brulee. I will definitely be back again and highly recommend others to give it a try too!“

“Hidden Gem: Fish House Food TruckReview:During our 20-day trip to Hawaii, we stumbled upon the Fish House food truck, and it turned out to be a delightful surprise. Not only were the fish tacos incredibly tasty, but the prices were also reasonable, making it one of the few standout food trucks on our journey. For a reasonable price, we were treated to flavorful fish tacos that left us craving more. The freshness of the ingredients and the skillful preparation truly set Fish House apart from the overrated options we encountered elsewhere. It was refreshing to find a food truck that not only lived up to the hype but exceeded our expectations. If you're in Hawaii and craving some delicious seafood at fair prices, Fish House is definitely worth a visit.“

“Consistently amazing food. One of the few trucks on the island that you feel like you've had a healthy and super tasty meal. The side salad is so delicious and the cook/server is super kind and helpful. This truck is the only one that I know of that asks to be paid after your food is served.“

“We had a layover in Maui so we took an Uber down here to get lunch. Not the best idea since this is a take out place and we needed a place to sit and eat. We had kids with us and they didn't love the food. The adults really liked the food. Very full of flavor! We tried several of the main dishes and were impressed with all of them.“

“This was my kids’ favorite part of our Maui trip. Actual quotes: “100 times better than Kona ice.” (And they love Kona ice). “Can we come back here everyday?” (We tried a different place yesterday and came back to Peace, Love, Shave Ice the today). “Ok, let’s go on our hike, and then let’s come back here.” ?Only way to improve is to add more seating and shade.“

“Kihei caffe is a must if you’re in Maui from what I know there’s three locations this one in Kihei (the original) another one in Kihei in the Maui coast hotel and Lahaina. Good recommendation and fun fact is if you’re staying at any large hotel chain, do yourself a favor get out of there and go to this restaurant. The food is twice as good half the money and the experience here at a restaurant with locals is great. We made the mistake several times eating at our hotel restaurant with garbage food. This place blows it out of the water. Also try their pancakes with their coconut syrup. We will definitely be back to Hawaii just to go here and eat breakfast. It’s that good. Anyway, hope you find this review useful and please like the review and review this restaurant yourself.“

“After just arriving to Maui from a 7 hour flight, the food trucks were a welcoming site! It was great to have various choices. There were some that were not open but still plenty of options. We enjoyed dinner from the shrimp truck! Lots of various shrimp dishes with very good flavors!Wheelchair accessibility: The property is located on ground level close to parking. There is a lot of loose gravel used to keep the area groomed. There are picnic tables with attached seats, no wheelchair access. Lots of little curbs or to each food truck there is typically is a step or two onto a platform.“

“Best food we had in Maui!! We came back 5 times during our last several days here and we ordered several things to take with us on the plane. The food is incredible (we had the beef stew, chicken hekka, lau lau, and chili) and reminds you of home-cooked comfort meals. The people who own this truck are even more amazing than the food and we had such lovely conversations with them. We will be back for sure. Until next time!“

“We've been here three times already in less than a week, so be warned this place is addictive. The people are very kind and the food is some of the best I've ever head. The fried Mahi Mahi and chicken teriyaki are both incredible.Parking: Very close through the beach.“

“Ono! If you're visiting Maui, and you're looking for a place to grab a bite to eat right off of the plane, I highly recommend this little gem in the Lowe's parking lot! On our most recent trip to Maui, we didn't feel like sitting down at a restaurant after our flight from California. We found this place via Google and are so glad we sought them out! First, the customer service is top notch. We were promptly and kindly greeted. Second, the food is amazing! Everything is made to order, but a 10 minute wait is totally worth it. I got the ribeye steak and garlic ahi katsu condo plate. My husband got the ribeye and shrimp, and we shared with our daughter. The ingredients tastes fresh, and the sauce on my ahi katsu was divine. My husband and I both agreed it was some of the best food we had on our visit. Mahalo, 808 Plates for the aloha and delicious local fare! We will be back next time! ?“

“We are traveling in Maui and were looking for something quick since it was 8:30 at night on a Sunday. We found Coconut’s Fish Café with some solid ratings and thought we would give it a shot. Our group had the famous fish tacos, blackened mahi-mahi on rice, coconut shrimp and chips, and the seafood pasta. Everyone was thrilled with their meals. Service is great, and it’s a very casual environment with QSR type service. Planning to hit the beach across the street here tomorrow, so we will likely come here again for lunch.“
“This burger is a spiritual experience. I am addicted to the bacon cheddar cheeseburger. Add the hot peppers (they aren’t too hot, more like a delicious slightly spicy pickle). The owner is really sweet and the food is both delicious and great price with a pretty wide menu. But trust me and please try the burger it’s honestly ridiculous it’s so good. A good selection of alcohol also.“

“This place is one of our favorite parts of coming to Maui. We like to walk here on the beach in the morning to get breakfast. Excellent German specialties like homemade pretzels, tropical pastries like passion curd buns, and a nice selection of gluten free - banana bread, biscotti, and mochi are some of my faves.Convenient parking lot, friendly helpful service too.“
“So good. I had the Pad Thai (3 stars-opened the sinuses). It was flavorful and the meat and veggies were tender. My husband had the Chicken Cashew Stir-fry (8 stars-had him reaching for the tissue box) and said it was delish. We both had Thai iced teas which were a perfect accompaniment to the spicy dishes. Highly recommend!“

“This place is a tiny little Cafe in a strip mall, but the food is sooo good. We got omelettes with hash browns, they were huge, perfectly cooked, and diner style. Perfection. And the malasadas are made when you order them so they are hot and fresh and delicious.“
“We had an absolutely magical time at the Feast of Mokapu luau! The setting was absolutely stunning and we had the most spectacular sunset and night sky. The beautiful voices, the music along with the storytelling, dancing and fire show - everything was stunning. The food and service (hi Connor!) was excellent and the complimentary family photos were a nice way to commemorate our evening! Thank you!“

“This place is such a treat to come to. They have a fantastic selection from food to drinks such as slushy's or smoothie type drinks with the normal flavors to the delicious other flavors. I got the breaded teriyaki with rice & mac salad & my bf got the chicken katsu with rice & mac salad. Hands down the BEST breaded teriyaki on the island!!! Then I got a large Mango smoothie & he got a large Honeydew smoothie. I will definitely go there again when I get the chance being that we were traveling from the West side Lahaina Town. If you get the chance to check this place out you should definitely try the wide selection of yummy foods & drinks that they offer here you will not be disappointed!!Parking: There were a # of available parking spots in their parking lot structure so don't worry about the parking.“

“My wife and I dropped in for a mid-afternoon lunch. We were happy with the cleanliness of the place, and it is nice and bright. The specials were posted outside and the Kalei's Bento sounded great. We got it and a chop salad with no protein to split. It came with Mochiko Chicken, Prawns, Beef, and Macaroni Salad. We wished we hadn't got it to split... Wow was it good - every bite was excellent! The staff were friendly and greeted everyone as they came in the door. The were happy to answer questions about the food for those not familiar with it. We'll be back!Parking: The shopping area parking is free and plentiful when we were there.“
