“We got there at opening at 4:30 and realized they had “AlohaHour” specials. We opted for the 3course Prix Fixe special and so glad we did. Amazing! The appetizer was excellent. The entre options-we chose the salmon and the lamb. The lamb was cooked to perfection and the salmon was so unusual and the best I have ever had. I just wish I knew what the outer coating was. The dessert was a hot lava chocolate soufflé with creme Anglaise and vanilla ice cream. Who could ask for more??? The service was perfect and we highly recommend this!“

“We went for breakfast. Atmosphere is nice - restaurant is open air and has view of the resort.
Continental breakfast was $30 and full buffet (hot food - eggs, bacon, made to order omelets, etc.) was $49, which feels very expensive. Platinum and Titanum Marriott members gets continental breakfast included and them can pay $16 to upgrade to full buffet. One person can upgraded, and the other person isn’t required to upgraded. I liked this option and appreciated it. You would have no problems having just the continental breakfast as it pancakes or waffles, cereal, fruit, yogurt, etc. The quality of the food was very good. Nicely presented. My only complaint is that the service was poor - dirty plates just get stacked up on the table and no one clears them. Also, the servers do not explain the buffet. No one told us that coffee and juice were included with the buffet until we specifically asked. There is also a menu - most entrees were $25 to $30. Overall, good breakfast but it is very pricey if not included.“

“Our favorite meal on the Island! Everything was delicious and we literally savored every bite. Service was impeccable and you can’t beat the view, especially at sunset. Highly recommend!“

“innovative Japanese fusion food, along with with outstanding classics such as a full line of sushi, sashimi and other favorites. Of particular mention is the dynamite shrimp - crispy panko-coated shrimp with a masago smelt aioli and a unagi glaze, and the crab ramen with cilantro, scallion, Thai basil and jalapeño in a truffle butter broth - UMAMI BOMB! I only wish I had room for the lobster-crab ravioli in a truffle-Madeira-cream sauce. Just thinking about it gives me the shakes. Glad I’m moving to Kona, or I’d never survive waiting for that dish (!)“

“Beautiful setting on the beach. Lively atmosphere. The service was uneven, there were long stretches with no contact where more drinks could have been ordered or plates cleared. The food was ... okay. Somewhat uninspired menu, and they were out of several items we asked about on the menu. Portions were on the small side. Wine came in plastic glasses (understandable due to the beach setting) but they had a strange smell to them. Overall it was okay. Sunset was a highlight.“

“Totally awesome authentic burger place. My only regret was not ordering another burger. My sister had the Surf Burger and I had the Hi-Heat. On the drive back to our hotel, we just randomly kept saying what a great burger those were. Honestly surprised we didn’t turn around and go back for more.“

“Always wanted to try this place and it didn't disappoint. Beautiful dining experience seeing the sunset and enjoying the unique cuisine. We had the seafood tower and tried the tasting menu. Drinks were also great. The service was wonderful and one of the best parts of our experience. Thank you CanoeHouse!“

“Chef Soto’s every dish tonight was fabulous! From the salads to the entrees to the dessert, we loved every bite. Oftentimes eating out at resorts can be expensive and mediocre at best. But that was not the case at Meridia and we were absolutely pleasantly surprised. Thank you Meridia, for a wonderful night out.“

“Came here for a special birthday celebration and couldn't have been more pleased. from the start our server, Chelsie was excellent. Very pleasant and personable. I had the Swordfish special that n night and it was excellent. The others in our group were also very pleased. Ambiance was perfect, as we were seated outside near the water with a great sunset. Highly recommend the Browns Beach House.“

“This restaurant obviously has it all going for itself with the location, on top of that the food and drinks are incredible but what makes it incredible is the service. Cristalle (sorry if I spelled this wrong) went ABOVE and beyond to make our dining experience incredible. She was so funny and engaging and made every effort to accommodate dietary restrictions for an amazing dining experience. Hopefully she remembers this quote but she was truly the “McGogger of the day”! She is an asset to the hotel and truly defines what hospitality means.“
