“So far I’ve eaten at Vasco’s twice with my coworker. The food is delicious. It is perfectly spiced, chicken is cooked to perfection and not dry. The garlic sauce is very tasty. It is very clean. The people working there are extremely nice and helpful. My coworker doesn’t know much about Indian food so she had a lot of questions. They were patient and answered all of the. The owner came to our table both times we were there to ask how things were. It is a place that you order at the counter and they bring it to your table. We are already planning our next visit.”

“I have been in this restaurant for more than 4 times. I highly recommend it. There are a lot of parking. Once you come in; you are greeted with a warm greeting and and enthusiastic smule by the host or owner. The servers are very accommodating , friendly and helpful. They check on their customers for whatever they need until your meal is done. The busboys are hardworking and any requests will be granted right away. The food/dishes are cooked just the way you requests. Their steaks and eggs are up to par. The prices are decently priced. For what they serve you, good amounts of food. Well worth it. Freshness and presentations of foods are stupendous! Never did I have any complaints the way the place is ran. Very clean. Wide open. Eventhough i live far. I kept going back and i know when i leave, my tummy is full, content and some take home left overs. Check their menu. Check the big breakfast meal. You can't go wrong with their reasonable prices. “Had the wonderful opportunity to enjoy breakfast at this fun little Cafe. Right off of Rand rd by Tony's Market in Arlington heights. Had the Popeye Benedict so yummy perfectly poached eggs and fresh fruit so tasty. Definitely worth atleast one visit but you'll find that won't be enough.”

“Oh my goodness. The best BBQ we have had in Illinois. We have traveled to Tennessee, Missouri, Chicago and all over the Chicago suburbs and this place takes the cake. (Peg leg in Nashville still is the over all best we’ve had) We happened upon Porkey’s after our Chicago plans fell through. Wow!!!!!!!!!! We had several plates of meat, a kids meal, sides, and dessert and our bill was less than $50. The staff were friendly, attentive and they offered great suggestions. I was so satisfied with our whole experience. From beginning to end a great flipping meal. They also had the bears pre season game on. Everything was so tasty. I will say this… and it may be fighting words, but their lumpia were better than stix and noodles. We had brisket sandwich, 1/2 lb of pulled pork, chicken fingers, a bao bun, brisket lumpia and bread pudding. On sundays they also have apple cider donuts so yeah we had those too! 5 stars from beginning to end.”

“We went to Mago in Barrington last night for the first time and were blown away. They were very busy so we sat at the bar. Service was fast and friendly. Food was terrific and the menu features things you won’t find at your standard Mexican restaurant like three choices of mole. Tableside guacamole is absolutely lovely. I have to say, though, what made our experience was watching the magnificent bartender. His efficiency, speed, and obvious dedication to what he was doing was just a marvel. He never stopped moving! We will definitely be back as every aspect of our experience was very enjoyable.”

The restaurant has a very welcoming neighborhood feel, and the service was friendly and attentive. What I especially appreciated was the combination of good food, nice service, and affordable prices.

“Santouka Ramen inside Mitsuwa is genuinely the best ramen I’ve ever had. The broth is incredibly rich and flavorful, the noodles are excellent, and everything comes together in a way that makes it hard to order ramen anywhere else without comparing it to this place.

What really sold me was that my girlfriend has actually been to Japan, and even she said Santouka was comparable to the ramen she had there. That says a lot.

It’s one of the main reasons I love coming to Mitsuwa in the first place. The quality is consistently excellent, the portions are satisfying, and every bowl feels like something you actually remember afterward.

After some Googling, scrutinizing reviews, and learning that this place is located only ~20 minutes away from me, I set my sights and was not disappointed. I ordered the smallest one, which is plenty big for only me and proved to be delicious! I hope to return in due time to try the Gateaux au Chocolat. Also picked up a slice of cheese cake for my mom, who said that it was delicious and had a lemon tang.

While I'm glad that I went on a Sunday, the parking lot isn't _that_ small. Yes, there is a sushi place next door, and it probably fills up during peak service hours. But there's even more parking a stone's throw away. I've been to dine-in restaurants on the North side with less parking, lol.”

The chicken skewers are consistently good. I personally enjoy the chicken thigh skewers. Also, the sausage skewers are pretty consistent in flavor.

I have tried their takoyaki multiple times. I feel it’s a hit-or-miss. Sometimes they are fresh, other times, they are a bit stale. But I still order them.

The same goes for their chicken skin skewers - they could also be a hit-or-miss.

Overall, whenever I visit Mitsuwa, I always order from Toritetsu. :)”

“Okay, you HAVE to try Seattle Sutton’s meals! I’ve been getting them for almost a year, and they’re seriously the best meal delivery company. I actually talked to one of their dietitians before I signed up and they were super helpful and answered all of my questions. There are so many meals I never would’ve thought of making myself, but they’re all so good. The convenience is unreal. You just heat it up. I don't have to cook anything and I hate doing dishes, so that's a huge bonus. Plus, everything is always fresh, like I just bought it at the store. If you want easy healthy meals without worrying about fake or unhealthy ingredients this is 100% the way to go.”
