“I was blown away at how great this place is. Everything they served came feeling very fresh and excellent in quality, there was nothing negative that could be said about the food if I tried. They even brought out the sushi out on a fancy boat plate. All in all I highly recommend this place and plan on coming back whenever I'm craving good sushi or the other things on the menu.“

Mongolian beef very tasty, but a bit too soft for me ( I prefer a bit of crisp to this dish). Shrimp fried rice was plentiful and very good. I didn't care for the crab rangoon (sweet) or scallion pancake ( chewy)...but I would definitely come back again and get LOTS of eggrolls!“

We ordered KUNG BAO DELIGHT, and it was very tasty, and the portion was very large.
We also ordered COMBINATION FRIED RICE, and it tasted great, but I asked to make spicy, and they didn't prepare it properly.
We also ordered EGG ROLLS, and they were delicious and a good size, but the CRAB RAGOONS were good, but a little over-fried.

“We ordered the dinner special last night. This includes an entree, fried rice and an egg roll. I got the shrimp kow, and my husband got mushroom egg foo young. The shrimp kow contained a generous amount of large shrimp and an assortment of veggies in a white sauce, which was highly seasoned. Bok choy, mushrooms,broccoli, peapods, water chestnuts,celery and adorably thinly sliced carrots. I loved it! My husband must have enjoyed the egg foo young...it's all gone! The dinner came in a black takeout container that was divided into two sections.Very nice. The shrimp egg rolls were huge and rolled very fancy! All the food was piping hot and ready for pick up in 15 minutes! The service when ordering and picking up was very courteous and accommodating. Prices were very reasonable!

“This is my favorite place for Chinese I've tried a lot of Chinese restaurants and this one is really good considering Chinese is my favorite food. The prices are reasonabe to. I like the fact that there's not a lot of salt in the food.

Parking: It's a small parking lot but no cars are never in the spaces so easy to run get your food and go. They don't have chairs and tables that's the only thing that's bad cuz I like to sit down once in a while“

“I find some of the low reviews here baffling. I think some people may be confusing this restaurant with other Chinese restaurants due to its rather non descript name. Make no mistake, the food here is excellent and punches way above its price point.Coming in the first time I was pessimistic. I quickly became a huge fan after eating large well prepared portions I would expect from a normal sit down restaurant. “I love noodles. I have ordered every pan fried, steamed, chow fun, mei fun, lo mein from just about every Chinese place in the DG, westmont, Woodridge, Willowbrook, Darien area. The common denominator for most of the places is how they love dumping a ton of onions in the dish with some noodles, a little bit of meat and a scant amount of other veggies. I spend more time picking the creepy little (sometimes not so little) chunks of the filler out than actually eating my precious noodles. Darien Chop Suey gives me none of the little buggers! I always order the pad see eiw and not only are there piles of glorious noodles, but they never skimp on the meat or veggies! Beautiful broccoli and mushrooms and not an onion in sight! It's so yummy. The hubs loves the sesame chicken. The egg rolls are plump and the egg drop soup is divine. Plus, they are the most affordable place in the area! Dang when did Chinese food get so expensive? Very reasonable here though. Super nice on the phone and we've ordered like a dozen times and it's always ready in twenty minutes or so. This is my favorite Chinese place. Darien Chop Suey, more like Darien Chop Yummy fo rizz!!!!“

Many Asian places in the immediate area skimp on any protein and give you mainly onions, bell peppers and carrots depending on the dish. Been going here for a few years and never had a bad experience except their Hot & Sour soup. It wasnt spicy nor sour. Customer service is very good and the owners are very welcoming. Atmosphere is quaint. A lot of plants and a large aquarium with goldfish. They have 3 booths and four tables with ornate Asian chairs.“

“There's a warm place in my heart for New China. My family have been customers here since at most the early 2000s, possibly the late 90s (I was young either way). This is the local gem, no frills, oldschool, family run. Even though I live in Michigan now, whenever I'm back in town, I love a chance to have a bite from New China. The fried rice has that wok hei, that mysterious smoke. Portions are generous, and it's always comforting. Eating in, taking out, whatever. New China is the spot, and I miss it all the time.“

“In this food court Liang’s Chinese Cafe had the longest wait line by Asians and it was worth tasting authentic Chinese food. Their noodles were popular. I got to try their spicy pig stomach which was definitely spicy but that was to be expected. As for the food? Not bad, as the Chinese say. I look forward to coming back and trying other dishes.“

“They have great luncheon specials with generous portions and a free egg roll. I love hot and spicy dishes; my favorite is Kung Pao Beef which has a ton of flavor (nice heat), a lot of beef, peanuts and very tasty fried rice. I also like their Shrimp Egg Foo Yung. The other reviewer here is totally wrong. Either he needs to add soy sauce or maybe he was going through chemotherapy and had lost his sense of taste. Their service is also terrific and if you phone in your order ahead of time it will be piping hot ready for pickup iun about 15 minutes within 15 minutes.“

Three of us in our group and we can’t wait to return! Ordered many food and drink items from the menu because we were all trying the food for the first time and between the three of us, every item was a hit, with no misses. “The food here is really good. We have gotten it twice for takeout and have been pleasantly surprised both times with how good the food is. We got the white rice. The main dishes we got were the Mongolian Beef and the orange chicken. I think we got some General Tso’s chicken as well. All of the food was good and I would recommend it to anyone.“
