The owner is a fantastic, tough as nails, iconic type of woman. We need more business owners and entrepreneurs like her. I’ll write more when I have more to say! “This business has been around for five years at a few locations throughout the metro east. They recently moved to their East St. Louis spot and been gaining compliments and new customers. Upon arrival, I was greeted with a smile and a sight of happy patrons. There are two tables for dining but it’s mostly carry outs. I looked over the menu then decided on The Voodoo Noodles for $13. It included some mixed veggies, noodles, bbq chicken or pork pieces but you can get both for $16. It was definitely different but in a good way. I plan to return and try some other items. I heard the rib tips and bbq sauce were outstanding. I shall see soon.“

“Great BBQ just a short walk from Busch Stadium. I had the brisket with the green bean salad, and both were excellent. The brisket was tender, smoky, and full of flavor without needing much sauce, though I couldn't resist trying all four. The green bean salad was fresh and a nice balance to the meal. The bacon cheddar popover was also a great addition. Friendly service, quick food, and a relaxed atmosphere.“

The food has been famous for years, if you are down for a challenge, go there and order the big mama burger , it is the most massive thing that I have ever encountered, and it's always good! “I normally don't give reviews but I had to on this one. This was our first time in St. Louis and I'm glad we found this spot. Funny thing is this wasn't even the place we were originally going to go eat at. We just happened to go here looking for other restaurants on Google maps. Anyway service was great, very friendly. The place has that old school look, like something out of the Godfather part 1. Its nice, wood and dim lights not plastic, bright, and loud. I had an old fashion and the ribs. I never had St. Louis ribs before but these were legit and I'm saying that just leaving Dallas and Nashville not to long ago. Just added this as a favorite on my maps. If we are ever in St. Louis ago this place is a must.“
