“I've eaten here twice once was ribs then today rib tips. When I say both times my food was nice and TENDER! I typically usually ask to not give me end pieces of the rib tips when I visit BBQ joints cause it's hard to chew, but when I tell u whomever Cooks at this establishment takes pride in what they serve everything was edible even the gristle ?. I definitely recommend this place you won't be disappointed next thing I want to try is the snoots! Stay tuned for a update!“

“The owner Mike, was a delightful man and walked my boyfriend and I through his menu. We ended up sharing a full rack rib combo with a quarter pound of brisket and homemade applesauce topped with cinnamon. I've always been picky with BBQ because it's hard to find good ribs, but this place really was probably the best ribs I'd ever had. Not only were they "fall off the bone" but they were perfectly flavored with their apple butter BBQ glaze. They close early too sometimes due to selling out so make sure you go early!“

“Bogarts 4.5/5 Sugarfire 0/5 Pappy's 5/5 Bogarts has pastrami which we didn't see anywhere else, so we tried that. Very good! The ribs are also very good but Pappy's is just a tad better. Bogarts was a little more difficult to get to via public transportation, but it's doable. We came at 3 (they close at 4) on a weekday and it was empty. Same coleslaw as Pappy's (we were told they have the same owner) which is vinegar base with cabbage and apple. Great compliment to the rich bbq. I did need some sauce on the ribs here and there but nothing close to Sugarfire (tough and dry).“

“Stellar Hog is always our go to for BBQ! So much so that we had our wedding reception there. Carnivore or vegetarian… there is something for everyone! Great patio, great dinning room (sometimes with live music), cold drinks, and amazing food… what more could you ask for?“

“I had the appetizer of hummus with toasted bread so good. The ribs were so tender and juicy and let’s not forget the turkey, excellent. The food, the atmosphere, the staff and the owner are amazing and super friendly. I definitely recommend it. Oh almost forgot the mac and cheese.“

“The ribs were absolutely divine! The pool pork was heavenly! We were here for the Nat Con, and it was a real a treat to have St. Louis smoked barbecue! You did not need any sauce at all, but I did try the white sauce for the first time and it was really good. The pool pork I can’t say enough about it! If you are a local and you haven’t been there you need to go so that you can recommend it to Outer towners such as myself. And any visitors, please make sure you stop by, this place. The staff was very friendly and it was just really good!“

“We were in town for business and this place was recommended by a friend. We were fortunate enough to meet the owners Darren and Charlene and they are awesome! We ordered spicy longanisa (Philippine sausage) and pumuputok na Manok (bbq chicken wings) with garlic fried rice and we could tell right away the love that they put into their food because it came out in the flavor. My only regret is that we’re from Chicago and it’ll take a minute for us to get back there but we’ll see you soon!“

“What we loved the most about this place was the service! The food was very good, and generous portions and the beer selection was excellent, but the way they greeted us, and sought us out because they happened to be playing bingo and wanted to make sure we felt included.. they brought our food and checked on like we were family of the owners..just wow! We are not from St. Louis and stopped in, we are so glad we did and added a pin to google for one of our favorite places if we are ever back in town!“

“This place is a must try. The food and service were great. My wife and I both ordered the Burnt Ends Sandwich with fries and wings for an appetizer. The Burnt Ends Sandwich was nice and tender. The wings were very good. I had to stop eating them so I would be able to eat my sandwich. The only negative thing was the sauce. I was not a big fan of the sauces, although the sauce that came on the sandwich worked well with the Burnt Ends. I'm not a fan of peppery or spicy sauces, and that's what they featured.I would visit this place again. I definitely would order their Burnt Ends by themselves and add a different type of BBQ sauce.“

“This is what we've been waiting for! Coursed menu, elevated experience from start to finish. These young chefs is going to go far and I'm here for all of it! Located downtown, the outside isn't much to look at, but as soon as you enter, you're greeted with the modern and stylish yellow and gray decor. Counter Seating and a few Tables on the perimeter shape the room. Staff is friendly and you can tell they put so much into their Service. For this restaurant, you reserve your seat online ahead of time and pre-pay the meal. My first visit was for Brunch on 9/24, the 10a Seating. 4 courses, starting with Shrimp n Grits, then French Toast, then Asian Croissant, then Honey Cake. (See Photo of menu for details). Overall, amazing!! I added the cocktail pairing which was a Mimosa and a Coffee Martini, both excellent. My only point of feedback would be that the menu was Carb forward and really could have used an Egg or Veggie forward dish as Course 3 to break it up, but all of everything tasted amazing. The restroom, yep, it's a Vibe too and very Clean. I'm motivated to come for Dinner and will be back soon!“
“Great staff, fun atmosphere, and great music. I went here on a Wednesday when they have a sort of “open mic” that I can only compare to going down to Louisiana to hear everyone jam together. They do not have food on Wednesdays but you can bring in outside food. They also have cocktails, mocktails, THC drinks, CBD drinks, and soft drinks. Definitely a place I’d revisit for a good time.“

“Fusion Korean food on a primer side. The chicken rice bowl was good but not great (personal opinion). I thought the rice would be warm but it was cold to the core.A small meal with one regular size bowl and a small side of kimchi came to be around $22.“

“Located right next to Busch Stadium, this Salt + Smoke location serves some amazing BBQ that will not disappoint you. I sat at the bar, ordered an Old Fashioned and a plate of brisket, and had a great night. Service was good and the atmosphere was chill. This is the spot to be if you want good BBQ in a central part of St. Louis. You might as well catch a Cardinals game too if there is one going!“

“A bartender walked up to us and asked us when are we going to buy drinks which was awkward. I guess we were taking too long to order. ? The music was enjoyable. I like how the bar plays music outside the bar in the back as well as the inside. Overall I will return! ?“

“Two tacos with beans and rice was $10. It was okay, nothing authentic though. - edit.. I will absolutely be back. Understanding now this it's Tex Mex, for me personally I'll still side with it not being authentic. I'm originally from New Mexico.“
“We ordered 12 pounds of pulled pork for our Fourth of July celebration. The pulled pork was cooked to perfection and was absolutely phenomenal! It was delivered when promised with plenty of sauce and buns. We will definitely order from Grill Master Tony again. Thank you for everything!“

I came all the way from GA and asked where was the nest bbq in MO and was told to come here!!! It was the right choice & right off the highway so it was easy navigating there! “We came here for the snoots (pig nose grilled to a crisp and covered in bbq sauce).“The secret is in the sauce” is painted on the wall outside the restaurant, and I would agree this is the case! The tomato based bbq sauce is wonderfully tangy and also has a molasses like a quality with subtle hints of garlic, brown sugar, and onion. I do wish the pig snouts were cut into smaller pieces, as the large size can make them difficult to chew; some of the smaller pieces were absolutely perfect ?! I do recommend eating snoots fresh because once they get stale they can lose their characteristics crunchy quality“

“I was there for a few minutes. I’m not a drinker or someone you usually find at a bar but I love the hometown familiarity. Many people I grew up with were there. The owner is a fantastic, tough as nails, iconic type of woman. We need more business owners and entrepreneurs like her. I’ll write more when I have more to say! I believe Sue & her establishment deserve a full 5-star review.“
