The employees that work at this Mr.sub are so nice and friendly and always give great excellent service! My daughter and I come here a lot and since we been coming here and moved to the neighborhood the food is amazing and I’ve always liked Mr.sub great food!!!!!!! This location had previous owners years ago but then these new owners took over this Mr sub and they have really turned it around and made everything better for the customers I strongly suggest that everyone and anyone goes to this Mr sub location because I think it’s the best Mr sub location I’ve ever been too and great service great food and great employees that work at this Mr sub and they all know me and my daughter cause we go to
This Mr sub a lot and there always so friendly to me and my daughter and I thank this Mr sub and your employees for how amazing they are and treat me and my daughter when we come in and we love the food food is amazing and service is amazing!!!! “I’ve been eager to try Mortadeli since it first opened, and after hearing so many rave reviews, I finally had the chance to stop by for lunch yesterday. Let me tell you, everything everyone says about this place is spot on! First off, the food is absolutely delicious. Everything on the menu is so tempting, it was hard to choose, but I went with the meatball sub and pasta salad. As someone whose grandmother made the best meatball sandwiches, my expectations were high – but Mortadeli’s version did not disappoint! It was fantastic. The pasta salad was also amazing, fresh, and perfectly seasoned. The atmosphere at Mortadeli is incredibly inviting – it strikes the perfect balance between classy and cozy. The staff are very friendly, and you can tell they genuinely care about making your experience special. The service was top-notch, with attentive staff and quick delivery of our food. One of the owners even took the time to chat with us a bit. Another pleasant surprise was the parking – I had my doubts at first, but we found a spot just around the corner with no problem at all. Overall, the experience was fantastic, and I’ll definitely be back. Mortadeli is a must-visit!“

“I ordered the regular Philly cheesesteak combo with a peach lemonade. Everything was delicious. The restaurant is clean and atmosphere peaceful.

Cheesesteak: Tasty. Sufficient amount of food for the price. I would order again. Now, keep in mind, I am not reviewing its authenticity but taste. There are varying schools of thought on what ingredients should be included on a Philly cheesesteak.

Fries: Fresh and delicious. They literally make perfect fries. I got mine salt-free. Yum.

Lemonade: simply delicious. I usually skip the beverage when ordering a take-out meal. After reading the reviews, I decided to give it a try. So glad I did. I don’t care for much sugar and this one was just sublime.

I highly recommend trying this Charley’s. This was my first time and I will certainly be back!“

“Staff has changed over the years and they aren't their strongest right now. Call in orders should be simple but the cashier was very spacey and didn't want to charge me for what all I ordered thank God for the older cooks that kept telling her what I ordered!! “A longtime gem. Under newer ownership, the food is just as good as the original. Check out the freezer filled with an assortment of their amazing soups! Service isn't the fastest, but food is prepared as ordered. Decor is fun (Star Trek!), although starting to show its age (the poster of Mr Spock in the ladies room is getting ragged). Parking is a bear, many of the nearby spots must be paid online.“

“The subs here are amazing—great cuts of meat, excellent flavor, and overall really high quality. My only complaint is the salad. I ordered one and it was mediocre at best: basically just shredded iceberg with a handful of black olives, a few pickles, and some cucumbers. For nearly $8, it felt like a rip-off considering I could’ve bought a whole bag of shredded iceberg at Juul for about a dollar. Iceberg doesn’t have flavor (it’s basically water), and while their vinaigrettes are delicious, they’d be much better served over a spring mix or microgreens. Bottom line: go here for the subs—the meatballs especially are phenomenal, I’d eat a whole bowl of them with gravy. But skip the salad, it’s not worth it.“

“A lovely downtown sandwich shop. We got an Avocado BLT, Shrimp and Crab Roll, Turkey Club, and a Cubano. Everyone loved their sandwich and enjoyed the ice cream dessert too. Staff was very helpful and I loved the style of the restaurant. Our only critical comment was the turkey club could have used more bacon (which was delicious). We can't wait to come back!“

“I have been going to the homer glen location and it is always super clean and nice inside! i love coming here and i just want to commend the guy who made my sandwich John H. I always ask for extra mayo and then the workers at other locations usually add a little bit and spread it thinly, but john h did an amazing job and really listens to what the customers ask for and want. he doubled checked to make sure my order was correct and that i had everything on it. he is very personable, friendly, genuine, professional, and polite from the brief encounters i have had with him. Aside from getting my sandwich, he makes the jersey mikes experience even better. the sandwiches and lunch meat always seem very fresh and this is the jersey mikes to go too along with the staff!“

“Ive been to almost alll Submmarines but this one takes it for the win! They were so welcoming and friendly and super clean for a small sandwich shop. Not only do they have a wide variety for subs and add ons but they also sell hot dogs , italian beefs , burgers and pizza puffs as well as so many side options from fries to mac n cheese bites! Give it a try and you wont regret it! Super clean , very nice family people 10/10And at the end the nice gentleman gave my daughter a free lollipop! “Sure! I had an amazing experience at Mr. Submarine at 8542 Ogden Ave in Lyons, IL. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm, friendly service that made me feel truly welcomed. The staff was attentive, polite, and eager to make sure I had everything I needed, which really stood out.

I ordered a combo sub and a pizza puff, and I have to say, it was exactly what I needed. The food came out fast and fresh, which was a relief since it was the first thing I had eaten all day. The combo sub was packed with flavor, with perfectly sliced meats, fresh toppings, and just the right amount of seasoning. Everywhere else I get a gyros plate it has enough meat for 2 or 3 sandwiches.the subs seemed to be lacking meat as well. Again first time getting it there and was just surprised.“

“Asked for "everything except no mayo" on my sandwich. Poor lady started by putting mayo on it (probably out of habit since most folks want mayo) before realizing her mistake - even before I did. She apologized profusely and had them remake me a sandwich. It was literally the most minor inconvenience in the world that cost me a whopping 2 minutes of added wait time, but they still snuck a free chocolate chip cookie in my bag. Completely unnecessary but much appreciated! Yay for people who actually care about their customers (even though, again, in this case, it barely even qualified as an inconvenience to me, lol). “As soon as I saw this place, I told my wife we had to go. It’s the home of the torpedo sandwich, how could you say no. The place did not disappoint! I got a “10 inch” torpedo sandwich but it was more like 24 inches! Allie got a Hot Italian Beef which was also delicious and would have made Tony Soprano proud. Hopefully we make it back one day! “Jersey Mike's -Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois. We are super picky about where we get sub sandwiches. Jersey Mike's fits the bill every time. Oakbrook Terrace is our favorite location because of Alicia. The food and smiles she serves is top notch. I'll add some photos in the future but for now, trust me the sandwiches are filled beautifully. Alicia runs the show here from top to bottom. I can't say enough about her fantastic presence. People have unlimited places to purchase sandwiches --- it really helps bring in customers when they can expect to see a long time employee there with such great energy.. “Great customer service by the people who operate this location, the Moon couple. The lady made the sandwich quickly and really well. They were well stocked on all of the meats and veggies! They had all types of bread available. There is plenty of seating inside if you dine in. I highly recommend this location for your Subway sandwiches.“

“I moved here from philly and have been looking for the closest thing to a hoagie you can get in Chicago. This is the closest I've come so far. I asked if the owner was from Philly and they said yes.My one critique is I asked for hot peeppers hoping for long hots and they put giardiniera, but that was partially my mistake.The rolls could be a bit better, they're very close to that philly/nj roll, and I would say closer than anything else I've found in chicago so far, but they're not quite the same yet.Other reviewers mentioned that they make the bread here in house. I asked if they did and they said no, so I'm not sure why the other reviewers said that.Overall a great hoagie in Chicago! Definitely recommend“

“Mr. Sub has always been my favorite! Whenever people ask me why, I can never quite put my finger on it—I just say it’s simply the best. Over the years, I’ve rarely lived close enough to make it a regular stop, but it’s always been worth the drive.

When I was pregnant with my son 35 years ago, I craved submarine sandwiches constantly. Back then, I’d make the trip from Woodridge out to the Berwyn/Cicero or Brookfield locations just to satisfy that craving.

These days, if I’m anywhere near a Mr Submarine, I make it a point to stop. After all this time, my order hasn’t changed: a King size Mr. Sub sandwich (I save the other 1/2 for lunch the next day). The only difference now is I’ve added the garlic-parm fries to the mix—they’re so good we usually eat them in the car on the way back home to Sycamore.

The only thing I would change is to have a location in Sycamore, IL!
