Jack who was working during the freezing weather conditions let me know it was only used for a wings rub but said he could try to make it as a cheese steak by mixing butter instead! He was very friendly and accommodating, willing to go above and beyond to help me. They were also closing soon and I was going to take my meal to go but he insisted that my partner and i dined in so the food stayed warm. Absolutely made my night because I got exactly what I wanted and it was a delicious cheesesteak!“

“I’ve been eager to try Mortadeli since it first opened, and after hearing so many rave reviews, I finally had the chance to stop by for lunch yesterday. Let me tell you, everything everyone says about this place is spot on! First off, the food is absolutely delicious. Everything on the menu is so tempting, it was hard to choose, but I went with the meatball sub and pasta salad. As someone whose grandmother made the best meatball sandwiches, my expectations were high – but Mortadeli’s version did not disappoint! It was fantastic. The pasta salad was also amazing, fresh, and perfectly seasoned. The atmosphere at Mortadeli is incredibly inviting – it strikes the perfect balance between classy and cozy. The staff are very friendly, and you can tell they genuinely care about making your experience special. The service was top-notch, with attentive staff and quick delivery of our food. One of the owners even took the time to chat with us a bit. Another pleasant surprise was the parking – I had my doubts at first, but we found a spot just around the corner with no problem at all. “The staff at the Homer Glen Jersey Mike's is fantastic! They are always friendly and helpful. They are as fast as they can be. Their business model does mean the food takes a little longer than say, subway, but it is definitely worth the extra 1-2 minutes.“

“I had to share an incredible experience we had at Subway at 14704 Cicero ave in Midlothian recently. As a high school teacher, I brought in a group of my English learner students to practice real-world language skills, and the two sandwich artists working today absolutely blew me away.

From the moment we walked in, Hemil and Akra were patient, encouraging, and genuinely invested in helping my students succeed. Instead of rushing them, they took the time to ask thoughtful questions, gently encourage them to speak louder, and even gave them the space to practice, even when it took a little extra time.

What could have been an overwhelming experience for my students turned into something empowering and joyful, all because of the kindness and understanding that Hemil and Akra showed. They didn’t just make sandwiches, they created a safe, supportive environment where my students felt confident using their voices.

It’s not every day you see that level of care and humanity in a busy setting. I’m so grateful for their warmth and professionalism. They made a lasting impact on my students (and on me). Thank you for going above and beyond! And thank you for the DELICIOUS sandwiches! We will be back 😄“

I ordered a combo sub and a pizza puff, and I have to say, it was exactly what I needed. The food came out fast and fresh, which was a relief since it was the first thing I had eaten all day. “Had to change my review after yesterday’s dinner that we got I got the super loop which in my opinion was super dry. They didn’t put the dressing and for the price. They only gave me two slices of meat, one of each ham and roast beef Which I think they forgot the turkey. My fiancé got a double cheeseburger we had bacon each bacon strip was $1.47 but yet it seemed like they just grab one bacon strip and cut it in half instead of giving lots of two whole strips the food used to be good here, but I don’t know for what reason they Started lacking“

It was literally the most minor inconvenience in the world that cost me a whopping 2 minutes of added wait time, but they still snuck a free chocolate chip cookie in my bag. “I love ordering great food from this specific Jimmy Johns because the ingredients taste so fresh and I have always had excellent customer service experiences there.
