“This is a great little spot for tacos. Today was my first time to visit and I got the fajitas and they were great. Definitely recommend. They added cheese to them like I asked, but were missing flour tortillas. They still tasted great with the corn ones though. Very yummy. Great service as well.“

“I was at dinner on Friday and it was not very busy. There were a bunch of adolescent kids making a bunch of noise and being quite unruly. Management just ignored their childish behavior and it was not the best environment to be having a meal. They had intermittent loud speakers and were swearing without regard to all the customers in the dinning area.“

“My guy and I dined there last night and I can only say that every aspect of this visit was, on a scale from 1 to 5, a 10. Atmosphere, service, cleanliness, promptly being seated AND served with a reservation, courteous waitstaff, and last but not least...every dish we tasted was superbly plated and tasted amazing. We had the restaurant week special with 3 entrees. We chose the pot roast, blackened salmon w/creamed spinach, honey chicken with fried pound cake, short ribs /mashed potatoes, shrimp n grits. Well done! We will be coming back!“

Menu is full of unique dishes… elevated dumpling and noodles are a signature. Beautifully plated and generous- but not overly. Cocktail menu is fun, with zero proof options that are spot on. Save room for baked Alaska. Oh, and ambiance is chic but allows the focus to be where it belongs. On the food. Upscale West Loop experience in modest Portage Park for a lot less and no pretense.“

“We’ve been to Marco’s a few times and have enjoyed our experiences. There is always a wide variety of thoughtfully prepared options to choose from in all categories, land and sea appetizers, entrees, several salads and desserts. Last night we had the bacon wrapped scallops appetizer which was delicious, the mahi mahi and shrimp with a delicious coconut based sauce. The strip steak was cooked perfectly and came with some lovely crisp veggies; unfortunately the steak was tough and almost stringy. The server asked if there was anything else I’d like which felt like the right thing to do. The servers are efficient but generally not warm and fuzzy. And the environment is very loud. Anyone with hearing issues wouldn’t be able to hear anyone else at their table without that person raising their voice considerably.“

“This was my first visit and I was a little overwhelmed. I came for a slice for lunch and was amazed by all the options. Fresh pasta, chicken parm, sandwiches, calzones and so much more all ready to go. I ordered my pizza and there was a cannoli in front of me in the case so I had to get that. While I was waiting for my pizza to be warmed up I admired the Gelato selection and ended up adding on a half pint of key lime pie Gelato. The slice, cannoli and Gelato came to $15. All of the food was amazingly delicious. I'll definitely go back soon to try more.“

“We made a reservation, arrived on time, were told our table would not be ready for 15 min. There is no where to wait at the restaurant (no room at the bar and we had someone under 21 with us and there is no place else to wait where you are not in the way. We chose to wait outside. Why bother making reservation if the table is not ready? There were several open tables, too and upon return 15 min later those same tables were open! It's just very frustrating and this is the second time something like this has happened. If it happens again I am not so sure I will be as open to returning.“

“Our server Anna was perfect. The ahi tuna salad that I ordered had a generous amount of tuna and very wonderful avocado slices, along with lots of other ingredients. The three people with me loved their choices also, especially the Neat burger with an egg on it. We shared carrot cake with caramel and a lot of nuts and the huge piece was more than enough for three over-eaters. This is place to pop into for a casual, delicious meal.“

“My wife and my go to bakery spot in Chicagoland. Everything we’ve gotten here is fantastic, and it is a regular spot we will frequent until we die! Order anything and you will not be disappointed. A short list of everything we love there: cookies, lemon pound cake, olive oil cake, Georgie cake, and their cold brew. The ambiance is also awesome for a date or to just chill with friends. “Not around the corner from me, but definitely worth the drive. The pizza crust is the perfect amount of thin and fluffy with a slight sweetness to the dough. The crust is beautifully crispy and yet tender! Tonight we had the bruschetta mix which is a choice of 3 different bruschetta of our choosing. We tried the traditional, the caponata, and the Rockefeller. I really liked the Rockefeller which is a nice combination of spinach, Swiss and Asiago cheese. We ordered the Mediterranea Salad and it was so pretty. The salad was dressed well with just the right amount of sun-dried tomatoes and Kalamata Olives. I am not a personal fan of olives, but these had some really nice flavor to them. The pizza we ordered a traditional Margherita which was with a red sauce and the Biancaneve which is with a white sauce. Even though the ingredients were similar they tasted completely different and so good! I wish there was more cheese on both pizzas. They seemed weirdly dispersed so some slices only had a few 1/2 pieces. They do use fresh mozzarella in both these pizzas so don't expect to have that cheesy pull of shredded mozzarella. We sat in the side room which had a big screen on one side and there were music videos being played. Since the restaurant wasn't very crowded the music seemed really loud making it a bit hard to have a conversation. We were seated at the far end of the room, close to the restrooms and the music was still loud. The service was spot on. Our server checked back often, she gave us time to look over the menu and she didn't rush us as we were thinking about each course. Next time we will have to try dessert. The crepes sound delicious.“

“The food was amazing. The seafood mixed grill was awesome. The Basa fish was so flavorful and the grilled shrimp were very tasty. All the sides that came with it made it all worth it. The saffron rice and the yellow rice were very good. Other sides were babaganush, humus, some salad. Amazing. Paired with the thick garlic paste that was very tasty, what an amazing meal. Hot sauce could have been hotter. .We ended the meal with a huge kanafa. Wow was that delicious. Paired with the mint tea, what more could anyone ask for.Left over food was also amazing the next day. “Beautiful restaurant, screams chicago definitely very unique I had asada and pastor tacos. they were delicious they had a good amount of meat in em definitely worth their price. The horchata was delicious as well not at all watery. A taco place is as good as their salsa...if you like spicy their red salsa does the job although both are very delicious. Service was friendly and fast I got greeted as soon as I walked in the door. Definitely will be back!“

“Wow!!! Where to start? Complimentary valet parking, A wonderful accomplished singer in the bar area. She was delightful and the perfect genre to settle back to a wonderful meal with her singing in the background at a volume level that was perfect to enjoy conversation and her songs at the same time.. “Cute little Jewish deli, situated on a quaint street in OP, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the establishment super clean. All of your favorite deli classics. Had the New York breakfast Sandi on a plain bagel, the sausage was extremely flavorful, also ordered the turkey and avocado which was very good. My only beef is that for the amount of food the prices are pretty steep. Spent $30 on two bagel sandwiches.“

“So I visited this place at least three times with a carry out order and customer service was awesome first time. Second I decided to go due to the good food and definitely the customer service, again awesome. Third, I enjoyed my food as always with recommendations from the young lady ( forgot her name). All three times I was either on crutches or knee brace. They were so sweet they helped me with my food to car an even told me to pull up to place and they’ll have my order ready for me! They were very nice to help me and for that I’m grateful. They went above and beyond. They made sure I was taken care of. So I brought my daughter there and she agree with the great customer service. “I stopped here with my family because we had around an hour to kill and boy I’m glad we did. The classic margaritas was very authentic and delicious. Churros was perfectly crunchy while also being soft. Didn’t have a chance to try more than that but I know the food has to be fire and I will forsure be back for it. Service was casually good, and the atmosphere was cool but tbh I didn’t expect the food to be so authentic because of it. That to show you don’t judge a book by its cover. “Absolutely adorable decor as you step into this neighborhood local joint, filled with music legend memorabilia and tv's lit with tunes from Queen. The menu is simple with each burger having its own personality. Each sandwich can be made into a chicken sandwich or a meatless veggie option as well. Had the curds and Parmesan fries on the side. Cute trivia cards to entertain you and your table guests. Was excellent quality food, and wonderfully friendly service.“
