We moved up to Richmond(20-25 mins) away and we still choose to make the drive to grandmas as it's just the best! Love that we walk in and the staff already knows our names and our orders and are just genuine good people!“

“Ok so first things first this was my first visit..... the Owner is awesome!! The employee that made my samich was awesome as well ! Now for the food... the samich was darn good and filling the pasta salad and tater salad was homemade and you can tell! Reminds me of a typical neighborhood deli in Chicago. The meatballs are a MUST! and are homemade. I suggest everyone swing by and try the great food and if yur new ya get to spin the wheel o stuff for a treat or discount on yur next visit! “So I got a sandwich from here on the way to an appointment with my son. The sandwich was made fresh order. Nothing pre-sliced or premade. The food is delicious. Have a cute little deli with lots of options. Definitely a nice local spot that I like to see stick around, I do like all the stuff they had in the store. I do plan on going back to try some of the products to make it home but sandwiches are good. Definitely recommend going and checking this place out and supporting some local. The staff was friendly and attentive to my knee. It was the first custom of the day.“

“I’ve been here 3 times now, and each time I’ve been greeted with smiles and kindness. The owners are very kind and welcoming. To make this better the scenery is very cool! Seeing the massive collection of antique Coca-Cola products is amazing, not to mention the food is amazing quality for its low prices. “This charming sandwich shop is a MUST for anyone traveling or living in Illinois! We went there for our first time just after Christmas and had an Outstanding rueben and Scrumptious turkey club. “Mr. Submarine is so much better than some of the other competitors out there. Specifically that one team with the green and yellow colors. Their bread is second best to my favorite red and black team, and the service is a little more helpful. I have heard that other locations can vary in quality, but when my local Polish deli has closed, I come here for a decent sandwich. The employees are always patient with you and make sure you're comfortable with your decision on toppings before they actually place them on your sandwich. I definitely feel like their vegetables are fresh, and the meat is tasty, but not top quality. Again, I am comparing a chain to Euro-style sandwiches. I'm not expecting top tier, but I am definitely happy with the sandwich I get, which is always the Mr. Sub. This location is hidden in a Mobil gas station, which I would have never found had I not searched for places to eat in Fox Lake. I barely know the area, having moved here from Chicago. Definitely check them out. What's also cool is that if there are other incidentals that you need from the gas station shop, it's there for you to purchase along with your sandwich. Love it!“

“Wow!! I could not believe the numbers of choices on the menu...it was so difficult to decide. I ended up ordering the Southwest Chicken Salad, sweet tea, and a brookie and I did not regret my choice. I was with my siblings and had a taste of the French Dip which was amazing as was the New Yorker. I will definitely eat here again!! What would make this place even better: have a drink refill station so we can get our own refills, and offer smoothies and shakes ?“

“I always go to this Subway because they remember my order and my name every time I go in. The owners do a great job of keeping the restaurant clean. The veggies are always fresh as well as the bread. This location is much better than the one in Cary.“

“The sandwiches are always ???. They hook it up fat. I only need a mini and I’m good to go. They play really good music and management needs to know how excellent the staff here is. Rarely do you go into a store, let alone a fast food establishment, and have employees that are this inviting and diligent. I come semi-regularly on my lunch break. “Best Subway ever! Sandwich makers know their craft and even though this corporate location is farther than others, I make the drive for the outstanding service. I have ordered there many times and have yet to be disappointed. Sandwiches are consistent and well crafted. I highly recommend this Subway amongst the sea of mediocre locations, this one really stands out and all other stores should follow their lead. I always order through the app and sandwiches are always on time and waiting for me. Sum it up in 3 words, Yummy yummy yummy!“

“Giving them a 4 instead of a 5 bcz I usually order off their app and it's hit or miss whether my sandwich is going to be well constructed or not- as in it's not falling apart as soon as yo unwrap it. Still good. Love how friendly they always are when you enter. I will admit that sometimes when I create my sandwich via their app they do forget a couple of things at times.. one time they forgot the cheese, the other time they forgot the sweet onion sauce. Other than that, it's always a pleasant experience“

“i might be biased here but this is one of my favorite chain places. Their salads are always great, many of my coworkers enjoy their sandwiches as well. You gotta get a sweet tea - may i suggest a half & half with lemonade. They also have great desserts, i always get a chocolate chip cookie, they are soft and delicious. The staff at this location are always super friendly and as quick as they can be. I've seen them short staffed many times in the past and they always try their best and have a smile on. Really no issues with service at all - around lunch time this place gets busy. Plenty of seating, bathrooms are always clean. I love McAlister's.. i wish there was one in NJ but i frequent this location enough to satisfy my salad cravings.“

“Just tried subway again now that it has new owners. I had several bad experiences so I quit going to them. I must say one hell of an improvement. I order a sub exactly how it was on the menu and was perfect. They were extremely nice a friendly and want my sandwich perfect. Also got a new foot long cookie that they cook to order. “Food was good and fresh. I ordered the chicken Philly in a bowl (it was sautéed with peppers and onions, but said nothing about jalapeños, so it was warm!) I wouldn't have requested them but it was ok. I wish they would have put more lettuce for the base of their salad. It was just a small handful. Otherwise delicious.“

Not only are the floors and all the surfaces clean, the glass where the food is is sparkly clean, the food trays are kept super clean, and the veggies look super fresh! The staff is super friendly as well. I never give reviews of stores, but this one was immaculate!“

“Subway in CrystaLake on Route 14 is our favorite Subway location . I always ask to put on extra veggies. I get a 12" sub and took picture of the second half. It's so fresh and they are generous with their veggies. Through the app we get points. Today we got two footlong and also got couple $ off and were able to combine it with their promo. We have been going to them for a few years and switched from another town that they are not as generous with their toppings. Great job on being prompt and following our special requests! We are one of their regulars. Well worth going to this location.“
