“We have Been at Theo’s at least 20 times in the last 3 years. The first time was the best and last night was the last. Food was a lot better 3 years ago. The staff seemed like they cared about you buying the right or the best value, Last night we were ripped off. David was our server. Telling how great the specials were with out telling us the price. My wife wanted seafood not steak. So we ordered her the seafood crab legs, lobster tail and shrimp. Crab legs tasted like they were frozen for a long time, the lobster was Tuff. Shrimp was good in garlic butter. I had a steak. With mushrooms. Do your self a favor ask what the price for any specials . DON’T BUY ANYTHING WITHOUT KNOWING THE PRICE. SeaFood Special $175.66 Who the hell charges this for a pound of crab legs and a lobster tail? Never again! Buyer beware!“

“The best fried shrimp ever. It's worth the drive, and the wait. The jumbo shrimp are good. I always buy the ex-large ones. The cheese & macaroni salad is delicious. Their mild sauce goes great with the shrimp. If you want a little spice, get the hot one and mix them up. I always get a pound of shrimp so I will have some now, and later.“

“Tried the Oak Park location on a Wednesday night. It was FANTASTIC! I got a pound of Alaskan King crab legs, and while they didn’t come with crab crackers, we only had a little trouble breaking the meat out. Phenomenal crab legs. They came with perfectly seasoned red potatoes and corn on the cob. My partner ordered (fried) shrimp tacos and could not stop raving about them. The shrimp was very fresh. We also ordered fresh cut fries and they were outstanding, though they could use a bit more seasoning. But extra seasoning was brought upon request. The owner, Shawn, brought out the food, was attentive to our needs, and even struck up a friendly conversation as we left. Fantastic decor/theme, friendly staff and exceptional service! 10/10, and we will definitely be back. Thank you for a great dinner! Two dinners, since I had leftovers!“

From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed, and the staff made sure we had everything we needed. The service was top-notch—attentive, friendly, and efficient. We had no issues with seating, and our orders were taken promptly without feeling rushed. The food? Absolutely amazing! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and delicious. You can tell they take pride in the quality of their dishes. On top of the great food and service, the prices were very reasonable, making the entire experience even better. “Food and service were fantastic. We were thrilled to find this place open after 11PM. Our flight was late, and my coworker and I had to drive two hours before arriving at our hotel. Starving and desperate, we found this food joint about to close but they graciously let us eat inside, serving us the best food ever!

The staff didn't rush us or even hint at kicking us out like they do in NY or NJ. The food was absolutely delicious. I got the King Nachos, and my coworker got the fried catfish. Plus, two iced teas for a total of $36. A fair price for a meal that saved us from gnawing on the hotel’s pillows!

Now, the area is a bit sketchy. We, the only two people in business suits, definitely stood out like sore thumbs. Lol. After we finished, the staff politely closed up shop. Thanks again, folks, for the great service!

I was unsure on what to order and the young man up front helped me decide my entire order. The food was perfectly priced and came out within a reasonable time. “My family has been going to this establishment for the last 40 years. It has changed visually on the interior. There are more younger people servicing the counter. It’s a plus and often can be off setting to many. The owner explained that hiring well trained people on the frontline is difficult because of the increase in hourly wages that Chicago now must meet according to the mayor of the city. During Covid this along with many business suffered. The interior changed somewhat and at times it appears very quiet. When getting food to go always express your preference. If you love the hard core crusty type of fish you want cooked. Say that. Me personally I never ever thought that was a good idea Imo. I detest hard fried anything. So if you want it hard cooked Tell them That! Don’t complain without inputting your desires. Now as for the quality of fish. It is Excellent!! Hands down. I always get my fish or seafood raw. I cook it myself cause I know how I like it cooked. This imo is one of the best places to get fish especially fresh catfish in the city…. I wish I knew the supplier so I could thank them personally. So go there it’s worth it. DiColas is perfect fresh fish shopping.

“This bar is a very nice GEM that has a great decor. The beers are ice cold and the drinks very refreshing. Taco Tuesdays are very tasty and the catfish dinner is Awesome. This is a very friendly bar with colorful characters. Watch the game from any seat or select a song from touch tunes and dance your cares away. Try you luck on the gaming machines or just have a couple of drinks with your buds.

“We just had dinner at Five Star Thai Cuisine. What a delight! We have tried some of the other Thai places in the area and none hold a candle to this restaurant. Such authentic flavors! We lived in Thailand, and this is like popping into one of the local corner places in Bangkok. We will definitely return!“

“Came in and the place was completely empty, sign said "seat yourselves" it felt kind of awkward but someone came out to greet us a few seconds later. Staff was super friendly and nice! I brought my grandmother and she wanted to split her meal with someone who wasn't able to come to the restaurant in person, so they brought out half of her meal and waited until we were almost done with the other half freshly made and packaged! Lake perch was great! Not like other restaurants that try to serve ocean perch as lake perch. The Nashville hot chicken strips were a little disappointing they didn't have any heat to them, but the chicken was cooked perfectly and the breading was really good so it made up for it! Mac n cheese was delicious, I was even impressed with the fries! None of them were soggy or over salted! I'm sad I couldn't have tried them sooner!“

When I was done I literally went back a couple hours later before leaving the state to grab more lol. The lady at the counter was so kind and had me laughing so hard for coming back.
