“This Lou's is the original location great history! Excellent deep dish, as well as service. I ordered a large cheese with the butter crust which is must! Crust was nice and golden and they are definitely not shy with the cheese, sauce is was good super fresh ingredients... There's about a thirty minute wait for the pizza, but that's to be expected. Well worth the price you pay, as it's some of the best Chicago deep dish...It definitely stays true to it's reputation.

“The deep dish pizza was rich, cheesy, and packed. The crust was thick but still buttery and soft, which made it really satisfying. “Celebrated my wife’s birthday here with three other families, as we were in Chicago between baseball tournaments. Not only was Coda di Volpe able to accommodate a same day reservation for a large party, but they went above and beyond, from personalizing menus with a birthday wish, to adding a special touch on dessert. With four teenage boys in tow, the menu provided ample carbs and comfort for them while we enjoyed a broad sample of the offerings - all were very happy with their meals! Cocktails and wine selection was also on the mark. Kudos to Jeremy and his staff. We came all dressed in white and he told us he knew he wanted to do something special for our party… they knocked it out of the park! Looking forward to coming back to Chicago and making a beeline for this restaurant… a no-brainer.“

“I have lived most of my life in Chicago not eating New York-style pizza, but this place opens a few years ago and it is becoming one of my favorites. I still eat a lot of other styles of pizza but for just one quick slice this is a go to. I had a friend recently turn me onto cheese pizza, and that is my favorite slice here. If you’re going to eat here, you have to make sure to fold your slice of pizza because that is the traditional way to eat this style of pizza. I hope you enjoy it.“

“Solid crispy thin crust! Buy by the slice to satisfy a quick craving, or order a whole (small/medium/large) pizza. Pasta sauce and dessert pies are also delicious! The place is no frills, so don't expect fancy silverware. Terrific add to the neighborhood!“

“My family and I had an incredible experience at Happy Camper in Wrigleyville. It was extremely busy because of the event at Wrigley Field, but we were seated quickly and had an incredible waiter (I wish I could remember his name). For how busy it was, we were all pleasantly surprised by how quickly the food came out. My wife had a tuna bowl and absolutely loved it. My boys and I had the tavern pizzas and they were great as well. All in all, a great restaurant with a wonderful hardworking staff. We highly recommend it!“

“I enjoy coming here for a quick lunch break or with friends after work. The service is quick and I’m glad that I’m able to try multiple flavors. I’m obsessed with the spicy eggplant and love that you pay by weight so you can get more or less of a flavor and you’re able to try a lot without committing to a whole pizza.“

“went to pizzeria portofino tonight for the first time. didn't know we needed reservations but luckily we were able to get in pretty quick. tried the octopus, calamari and then 5 different pizzas. the Fresca, due funghi, fall squash and pancetta, the classic cheese and the special Brussel sprout pizza. awesome quick service, everything was delicious and had amazing flavor. Definitely worth checking out if you haven't been. excited to come back again and try other pizzas and probably a pasta or two.“
