“What an adorable place!!! Eclectic , cozy look and vibe, they have pour over coffee which is what i chose, soooo good and really unique latte concoctions I have not seen anywhere else. There is a covered outdoor patio, with rocking chairs, a few chairs in front porch, ofcourse interior seating. Some standard tables and chairs but also couches and benches. The parking in back is tight. I recommend checking this place out if you want a different vibe than the usual Cafe.“

I don't like using the walk up self order, but they clued in and took my order in human mode, which I appreciate. The staff noticed I might be sitting in and did a double check of the dinner area, which was good and clean. I did chose to stay outside,it's a nice Sunny morning. I hope to visit Offen.“

“I come here because they do pour-overs. Really Good pour-overs. (If they're busy, multi-tasking staff may miss the correcting timing so the extractions are suboptimal and may alter the taste in the negative.) But still a great coffee - I'm nitpicking.

I enjoy this more than the other places in Libertyville because the barista's really know their products - every one I've talked with has been able to discuss each coffee with knowledge that helps me learn. And oh so friendly, nice people who work there.

Pastry choices are limited, so-so in taste, and too sugary for me (donuts, muffins) They could use some nice croissants, chocolate croissants, morning buns, etc. If they partnered with Hewn Bakery it would be perfect. (I will often get coffee to go, and bring my own Hewn to eat outside at the benches.)“

“I tried a coffee from here for the first time. Elena is so sweet and I LOVEEEE her accent. But she truly is so nice and sweet and I love that (i think i have a crush on her). Apart from her the coffee was SOOOO good. I was feeling low on energy so I needed something and this coffee was amazing. “I've been here three times in the past year and have been wowed each time. The employees are always nice and accommodating. The food is perfect each time, the bathrooms and restaurant itself are very clean, and the space is welcoming! That's saying a lot from someone who worked in a lot of restaurants over the years and can easily spot issues. Bagels are chewy, thaw nicely after being in my freezer for a bit, and make excellent sandwiches. Thank you for the Windex and cleaning up my water bottle catastrophe ;)“

“I was at this store at 12:40 pm on 9/19/25. A customer ahead of me was belligerent and extremely aggressive with the cashier (a young lady with long dark hair, register 0698).
I’d like to praise the cashier for how she handled this unhinged elderly woman. I was ready to call security after witnessing the way she screamed at the cashier. This woman immediately started in demanding the woman help her yet refused to provide the name of the book she was seeking. The cashier calmly offered to help- a number of times- and the woman kept screaming.
I finally stepped in and told the customer that she needed to stop. But she didn’t.

Again I just want to recognize how well this cashier handled a literal crazy person. I am sorry for how you were treated and I hope management sees this and recognizes you for your customer service.“

Our go to is the Cafe horchata but you can get vanilla or chocolate as well if coffee isn't your go too. I've had them all and they are all delicious.“

“The first thing you notice is the farm house decor. The menu is American fare with a hint of some southern dishes. The staff is great considering it can get busy after 8:30 am. There’s plenty of parking and weather permitting. They have outside seating.“
