“My wife and I got the Mongolian Beef and the Shrimp w/ Broccoli Lunchboxes (came with fried rice, egg roll and a drink). The Mongolian Beef was well cooked but was missing spice and was mostly sweet. Their best dishes by far are the Lo Mein, Orange Chicken and the Salt Pepper Shrimp.“

Not many places offer No Shell S&P Shrimp, love that they have the option with or without... No food coma zombies after, full but didn't feel gross... Delivery was on point... She said 45 minutes... In fact it was 45 minutes, including the 3 minutes it took me to give my order... A sweet older man delivered my order... The taste of the food reminded us of a China Buffet off Pulaski and Wellington.. Family owned, it was our wkly spot for over 20yrs... They watched me age into adulthood and watched my oldest 3 grow.. The owner, cooks and wait staff were all extremely friendly and made each of our visits a wonderful experience. We ordered Chinese and Japanese food and we also sampled some of their new delicious tacos... everything we tried was absolutely fantastic. We live 300 miles away so we ordered a lot of takeout to bring home with us to share with our friends who didn't get to make the trips. “I love this spot. Amazing hot & sour soup, egg drop has good strong flavor, the orange chicken they serve is nice and has a nice spice to it. The shrimp fried rice has very nice size shrimp. The chicken friend rice has a ton of chicken in it too. I really enjoy the fried wings (disconnected) as well, very delicious. I love the gravy from the shrimp with lobster sauce, good amount for shrimp for reasonable price. Always get the house sweet and sour chicken. It's superb. “This place reminds me of the old Chinatown before COVID and the reason I used to go to Chinatown. It's, affordable with good portions, it has that older Chinese restaurant feel to it, yet clean, and the service is good with a fast waitress who has a good memory and doesn't need a notepad. I ordered the sesame chicken combo with vegetable rice. Other places serve a shrimp fried rice browned that looks like it was cooked with just soy sauce and a scattering of shrimp, or (in the case of vegetable rice) a few bits of vegetable rice I would swear was frozen. Here, the rice on the shrimp fried rice looks alive and fresh with a nice balance of tasty shrimp. There is always a generous helping of fresh steamed broccoli. The vegetable rice is excellent, and there are plenty of diverse fresh vegetables. Their tasty egg rolls are smartly done with a plethora of fresh ingredients in a crispy shell. While the seating area is not a place to take your date, the quality of the food and the speed of the service is top notch. Note: The food is a SWEET AMERICAN version of Mandarin Chinese.“

“We just dined in the renovated Hunan Inn and loved it. We’ve been getting takeout from here for 20 years and have dined in many times, and were curious what the newly reopened restaurant would be like. We couldn’t have been more pleasantly surprised - we got a few of the same dishes we’ve ordered for years, as well as a couple new ones to test it out. The quality of the meat and seafood is on another level now; the batter on the chicken is fresh and crispy; giant, meaty shrimp made the fried rice even better; and the Mongolian beef was tender (not spongy or fatty) and the sauce was caramelized perfectly. The crab Rangoon were lighter and had a noticeably more authentic crab flavor, and were delighted that our favorite egg rolls seem to have stayed exactly the same! We also tried the new mango sago snow ice which we will definitely get again — a really light and not too seeet way to finish the meal. Overall couldn’t be happier with the new and improved Hunan Inn.“
