“Had some brews at our favorite spot, Sketchbook Brewery in Skokie, and decided to order some tacos from here through Uber Eats. Noticed a few BOGO deals for Elotes as well as their Chicken Tinga. Ordered those as well as a few Steak Tacos (white onion and cilantro) and some tasty salsas (red and green). Steak was not super salty like most spots. Chicken Tinga was some of the juiciest I have had yet not super oily or drippy. Elotes were good and a bit different with what seemed like black pepper as a nice kick. Did not realize this place was a food truck/stand at a park. May check out the actual spot some time.“

“I ordered delivery and the ingredients were perfect. Food was perfect, taste was perfect, service was perfect, could use some more chicken but other than that everything was amazing. Chicken was tender and freshly cooked, bowl was decent size. Just the perfect bowl. Loved it . This chipotle has become my favorite place as of now.“

“I can’t stop thinking about the Pork Milanese at Chilim Balam. Hands down one of the top 5 dishes I’ve ever had.

It was the perfect combo of savory, crunchy, and fresh. The pork was rich and flavorful, and then you get these bright hits of strawberry, cucumber, and herbs that just make the whole thing pop. Such a perfect summer dish!“

“The flavors were great in general. However, the salsa was essentially tomato sauce and a big disappointment. The guacamole needed some garlic or green onion or salt. The only other problem was the salad had very little (if any) dressing. The tacos and the special quesadillas were great. Service was good. Overall, good enough that we will be back.“

It looks small from the outside, but it’s enormous in flavor! It’s a very cute and nicely decorated place. Staff is incredibly nice and helpful. But the food… it rocks! We ordered the Orden de Quesobirria and a Carne en su Jugo and a Agua de Jamaica (hibiscus water) and a Horchata (rice water). The Carne stew was delicious! So many levels of flavors. The birria was fantastic! Levels and levels of flavor. Will definitely be back for the Menudo this weekend. See you all here!“

“Lu Lu’s restaurant is a GEM! She treats her customers like family and is just the sweetest! The food is always hot and delicious - my favorite is her pambazo sandwich. We chose Chicago Taco Authority for our graduation celebration—and what an absolutely fantastic decision! The Chicken Tinga Taco was a standout, with tender, savory shredded chicken seasoned just right—a fan favorite among our guests. The taco salad was bright, crisp, and loaded with fresh ingredients that felt premium and flavorful. The hand‑cut chips stayed crisp throughout the party, and that guac… oh my—it was creamy, ripe, and bursting with pure avocado goodness!

“Ever since our former far north side Mexican go-to restaurant had a fire and reopened without the same quality of food we used to love, my partner and I have been looking for a new delivery and eat-in joint. We love how awesome the universe of Mexican food is here in Chicago but a lot of the eateries on the far north side are just kind of meh. Nobody deserves to eat meh Mexican food in Chicago, ever. It took us a year and a half to finally find Taqueria El Charro and we’re completely blown away. I’ve lived in Chicago for 21 years and he’s lived in Chicago almost as long. I used to teach English in Pilsen. Once I had a chance to move back home to New York City and I sat in a Chicago Mexican restaurant at 18th and Ashland and cried because I didn’t want to leave Chicago Mexican food behind. So, this place has some of the best Mexican food I have ever eaten here in my adopted hometown. I don’t say that lightly. You don’t kid around with Mexican food in Chicago. I cannot emphasize how quietly awesome this place is.“

“If someone were to ask me what is Dos Bros like,I would say that it is similar in concept to Chipolte, but better and a little bit cheaper. I live in Nashville where don't have any locations.
