“They're skimpy on the portion sizes. Why do I have to ask for each compartment to be filled? If I was as skimpy on the payment, they wouldn't like it at all. Do better, Panda!

Also this location is on a frontage road adjacent to a major street. The food is always hot and tasty with all of the reliable flavors I expected.
The kung pao chicken was too spicy. It appeared someone isn't leaving the peppers whole and the whole entree was overwhelmingly hot 🥵

“Awsome place to go when you want variety of dishes from rice to fried shrimp. Buffet style at is best. The dessert area needs a little boost but still does the job.
You will get a server helping you with drinks and making sure your disguarded left overs don't get in your way.“

“After going the first time I knew I'd be coming back. The staff is so kind and the service is remarkably quick. The food is unbelievably delicious. Favorites of ours are the soup dumplings, the green beans, and the scallion pancakes. We've also gotten the beef dumplings, fried rice, orange chicken, combo chow mein, crab rangoons, and pork buns - all of which were great. The dan dan noodles fell a little flat for us. I really liked the stir fried pancake but it's not for everyone. Both times I've gone with a small group (4-6 people) and it took a little time to get seated (<20 mins) but it was the dinner rush and their dining space is admittedly on the smaller side - maybe 6 tables with 20-25 seats total? Overall my friends and I love this place and will definitely be coming back again and again!“

“It’s everything you want from a Chinese place. I honestly don’t believe any review less than 5 stars. Our area is plagued by bad to mid at best Chinese food, and Moy Yuen is a shining star (5 stars!). Everything we order is always delish and cooked quickly. The phone order is efficient with no delays. Try orange chicken, general chicken, lo mein, Mongolian beef, and Singapore noodles. And don’t forget the egg roll. The place is no frills but consistently great above average Chinese food in the Western Suburbs.

“I guess the years have changed Harmony. This was always my go to spot, but today something changed. The food took forever to arrive, the taste was no longer on point and the whole atmosphere just wasnt right. Im sorry, its gone backwards and the paper towels overflowed the men's room.“

“The guy that answered the phone and took my order could have sounded like he was interested or at least a little bit friendly. Other than that I do have to say they're sweet and sour chicken is probably the best around. They're fried rice is also delicious. It's been a while since I was there so when I go back I'll update on the next dish that I get. All in all it's definitely good food.“

I am a FAN of chinese food, but no where around suburbs and chicago will you find such FRESH food! Veggies are perfectly done, meat is perfectly cooked! Sauce is amazing taste! I had their Happy Family Dish , Chicken fried rice and Khan Pau Chicken .

“LOVE this place and low-key consider it a hidden gem. Prices are so reasonable, even after having gone up in January - lunch special is $8. Portions have shrunk some (that's to be expected when prices go up) but it's still enough food to fill you up. Occasionally they'll get something small wrong (fried rice when I asked for white), but everything I've ordered from here is tasty, which is what not only keeps me coming back, but keeps me telling my coworkers about this place.“

“I find some of the low reviews here baffling. I think some people may be confusing this restaurant with other Chinese restaurants due to its rather non descript name. Make no mistake, the food here is excellent and punches way above its price point.Coming in the first time I was pessimistic. It seemed your standard pre prepared food menu ready to dish out quickly to the lunch crowd panda express style. I quickly became a huge fan after eating large well prepared portions I would expect from a normal sit down restaurant. “Food was pretty good in you're in a pinch, plus they open early. The interior is cozy and neat and their service was quick and amicable. Ordered chicken curry, chicken fried rice, and a couple of eggrolls. The eggrolls were pretty standard and the fried rice was tasty, albeit just a bit too oily, and the chicken curry was fragrant and scrumptious but not as spicy as I would have preferred. “Dine in is wonderful, staff is great, tables are nice and ambience is good. We ordered the Happy family and the pho, 10/10 stars all around. I would totally recommend this place to eat out with friends and family, they accommodate you really well. Owners are very very nice and humble. I’ve ordered Togo a lot of times before and it’s always been quick and fresh. They have a bar with many many selections. This is a family owned business I think so I try to be patient. This is my go-to spot whenever I want any type of asain dish!“

“I’ve moved from Chicago to Melrose Park, and it’s been hard trying to find a good Chinese place that has good spice, not sweet spice. Best place in the area to get spicy fried rice, lady who takes the order is really nice and they get the order done fast.“

“Kind of expensive. Cabbage with a few drops of bacon $16.. two small spicy hotpot fish didn't taste so fresh sliced into 4 filets $50. Overall atmosphere is good and clean and plates are brought out by robots first before the server put them on the table. Overall probably would go back again but not ordering those two items.“

“We visited Fong’s Chinese Restaurant in November with my children when we were in Chicago for my son’s bootcamp graduation. It turned out to be such a warm and pleasant experience.

The service was very good, and the staff was genuinely friendly. We were pleasantly overwhelmed by the big servings—the food was delicious, fresh, and definitely worth the price. The attendant was especially kind; he even offered a small toy to my grandson to help cheer him up when he started crying. They also gifted us a 2026 calendar as a keepsake, which was such a thoughtful touch.

The BBQ pork Lo-Mein is incredible.

We’ve been looking for a new Chinese restaurant and it’s looking like Moon Temple is going to be our go to from now on.

The portions are a great value too.

And not to mention a lot of meat.

Only two dings is 1) why the $1.00 convenience fee 2) use less sodium in the egg foo young. Will definitely be back but get rid of the annoying convenience fee.“
