“Service polite and quick. Space clean and well organized. Ordered the Papa Q platter, everything was good, especially the pork belly and sausage. Sides were cornbread, sweeter than traditional, mac q roni- tasty, coleslaw- creamy and traditional, and mashed potatoes with gravy-really good. Hush puppies were yummy too. Three sauces on table are all good individually but I mixed them all together, delish!“

“This is my new barbecue go-to in Niles. I live close to here, and it is so easy to just come over and have a drink. They host some events, including live music and a book fair. It is a great place to have a party, and just plain have fun. I personally recommend the brisket. The fries here are something to crave. It is in kind of an industrial area. But the brewery has an industrial vibe. I totally recommend this place for anyone looking for a bar/bbq kind of place.“

“Stopped in yesterday for a late lunch. Small, charming, everything you want a little local spot to be. Welcoming, very nice. Sadly out of brisket at the time (honestly a good sign of really good brisket if they were sold out by 2pm) but he recommended the turkey sandwich.

I've had good smoked turkey before. But I have never had a smoked turkey sandwich this good. Flavor was absolutely on point, texture was tender and juicy. Best turkey I've had in my entire life and I've had some pretty good turkey. Fries were seasoned and fried to perfection. The white sauce was a great complement to the fries and worked well with the sandwich - didn't overpower the turkey flavor but honestly I ate most of the sandwich without sauce, it was that good.

I highly recommend this place to anyone who appreciates smoked meat.“

“Be quick at ordering because there’s going to be a line! Good news is that I have the sense nothing is bad here. I got a ham and cheese and mustard croissant which was perfect, and the banana coffee cake which was DIVINE. Just wish they could do a toasted and creamed bagel, so 4 stars for customer service.“

“It's been a long while since I've been at this District Brew Yards location and I don't remember Lillie's Q. Pictured here is a Pimento Cheese Sausage Link ($8 and a style I've never tasted before 5/5), half a pound of Brisket ($17, probably one of the best I've had 5/5), both come with a side of onions and pickles, and ordered sides of Coleslaw ($4, dry, not creamy 3/5) and Mac & Cheese ($6, which was average 2.5/5). Not a huge fan of how the BBQ sauce packets came, pictured here - opted for Hot Smoky and Smoky Barbecue Sauce. A bit pricey but was filling. Would like to try the Tri-Tip, Hot Link, and Chicken Wings next visit.

“City Barbeque food never disappoints. We drove all the way up here just to get good food. We miss the one they use to have in downers grove and in Berwyn. The pulled pork sandwich is always great paired with some mac and cheese and cornbread. Definitely coming back to this location. The inside is very nice and the employees are very helpful.“

“The guy that assisted didn't listen was not the normal assistance that I typically received from the cashier. I've always liked the interactions from this restaurant. I was on my way to church and the Devil really used this guy to try disturbing my spirit. He was being very condescending. I almost canceled my order and wanted to not get the food. I asked was it enough sauce on my food the cashier became ornery. It was definitely a challenge that wasn't necessary. If the food wasn't normally good I wouldn't have moved forward with the transaction.“

I didn't find the staff to be very friendly, that would have made the atmosphere so much better. I felt the price was unexpectedly high but it was definitely something I would do again.“

“Catered for my spouses 50th birthday. Wings, Ribs, salad, 6pans in total. I called them and asked if they could have it done earlier than the time slot I picked…they weren’t able because of their load. 10 minutes after I called, they called and told me they had me! “This is hands down the best food I’ve had in years ! The corn bread muffins are served in CORN HUSKS…the pulled chicken sandwich came with an actual chicken leg and wing on the side! Then throw in the free music playing, it is absolutely a favorite for me from now on!“

We each had dinners, he choosing 1/2 baby back ribs, Mac and cheese, cornbread. I had 1/2 slab brisket, Mac and cheese and collard greens. Side portions were generous and the collard greens were fantastic! Mac and cheese was terrific and the meats were just perfect. Service was great and price was just as great. Washed it all down with classic Margaritas. Great addition to neighborhood in same spot Fat Willy’s left when closed for good.“
