“Alina was wonderful she was extremely knowledgeable and every cup of coffee was so smooth I had the cherry blast and it was super smooth not to sweet perfect balance and for those who don’t like strong coffee it’s a great option. My husband had the Cafe Borgia and omg that was the best espresso I’ve had in a long time super smooth just the right hint of chocolate. The atmosphere was so nice she had games and she’s very friendly to talk to so we felt very welcomed. Alina also offered us pastries to try they were so good we really liked the cinnamon pastry it tasted like a a churro it was so soft moist and delicious 🤤 we also tried the lemon pastry wow it was so good we are not from this area but we are happy we got to meet Alina and try her wonderful coffee 10/10 recommend“

“I come here because they do pour-overs. Really Good pour-overs. (If they're busy, multi-tasking staff may miss the correcting timing so the extractions are suboptimal and may alter the taste in the negative.) But still a great coffee - I'm nitpicking.

I enjoy this more than the other places in Libertyville because the barista's really know their products - every one I've talked with has been able to discuss each coffee with knowledge that helps me learn. And oh so friendly, nice people who work there.

Pastry choices are limited, so-so in taste, and too sugary for me (donuts, muffins) They could use some nice croissants, chocolate croissants, morning buns, etc. If they partnered with Hewn Bakery it would be perfect. (I will often get coffee to go, and bring my own Hewn to eat outside at the benches.)“

After talking with the owner, we learned the building is over 100 years old and it was a filling station. They have transformed the building into a very quaint location that is very welcoming! “I've been here three times in the past year and have been wowed each time. The employees are always nice and accommodating. The food is perfect each time, the bathrooms and restaurant itself are very clean, and the space is welcoming! That's saying a lot from someone who worked in a lot of restaurants over the years and can easily spot issues. Bagels are chewy, thaw nicely after being in my freezer for a bit, and make excellent sandwiches. Thank you for the Windex and cleaning up my water bottle catastrophe ;)“

“Everytime we come to this mall, this is one of first things we get. We saw a sign saying they had three variety flavors of horchata drinks and we jsut had to give it a try. Our go to is the Cafe horchata but you can get vanilla or chocolate as well if coffee isn't your go too. I've had them all and they are all delicious.“

I know that Starbucks has had it’s fair share of scrutiny lately, but they have been nothing short of amazing through this. They have set a memorial table up in Rachel’s honor. They also called in grief counselors and pulled in shift support from other stores so that people who knew Rachel could take time to grieve individually as well attend her service.“

It was understandably sweet, which wasn't to my taste, but I did love the honey and lavender flavoring. I ordered a hot drink because the mall is cold, and the temperature is perfect- hot but not enough to burn my taste buds. Now I can comfortably sit down and study. The only thing is that it's very open to the mall (like, it's giving open floor design) so there's something weirdos walking by and being rowdy. It's not really a cozy café, but it's still very aesthetic and sleek (like all TLJ's).“

“Family decided to go to Dunkin after church. Originally we went to the Dunkin closer to our house that is on N. Lewis. Customer service was horrible there so we left and came to this one. We were greeted when we came in, and the food was delicious. I only put three stars for service because the lady that attended us was slow. Physically slow. So slow that my daughter who is 11 was saying watching her was like she was in slow motion. Like, her movements were very slow, so that you kinda understand what I'm mean. I'm not sure if she is maybe developmentally delayed, and if she is,she was amazing. Or maybe she didn't have coffee yet. Not sure. It's like it took her a moment to register what was being said. At any rate, other than that, (and that wasn't that bad, really) definitely 5 stars for the rest.“

“Delicious boba tea! I had the Coconut milk tea with boba and my husband had the mango fruit with boba. This was our first time here! It was busy when we walked in with lines for those wanting to get there bubble / boba tea. There was a great menu of options to choose from and a nice sitting area to relax, and enjoy the drinks. Staff were quick and busy filling in the orders that were coming in. This is located in Chinatown near the Chinatown square. Great spot and delicious boba teas! We will definitely come back when we visit this area again!“

“Great ready prepared food buffet (and good variety), great Allegro coffee (IMO, much better than Starbucks), very friendly employees (Jen at the coffee counter, Erin at the bar, Adriana, Mell, Gail, and many others), and the store manager is so down-to-Earth simple and friendly guy that it is visible to the naked eye that customers and employees love him.
