Prices are comparable with other Sushi places, not cheap, and not outrageous.“

Very reasonable prices as well. The most astonishing fact about this restaurant was the host (Quam) his amazing knowledge of food and customer service was unlike any other. The Ice cream desert was mind blowing. You don't have to take my word for it, but I guarantee you, you won't find another Sushi restaurant in the city of Chicago as good this one. The Chicken teriyaki was a little dry for my taste but thats because i love fries with my ketchup like i like chicken with my teriyaki sauce! so this comment is not meant to be a negative comment. It’s more meant to be descriptive. The shrimp tempura’s breading is more corse than other places but again definitely not a negative. just describing. The preparation is mostly traditional, it’s generally fresh and tasty (though there have been nights where something is off). The cooler almost always has some grab and go options; otherwise, order ahead to make the wait more predictable.“

“best sushi in the chicagoland area for me! this little stall inside Hmart Niles’ food court is such a hidden gem. my husband and i actually come here once a week now, it’s officially become our comfort-food spot. i’m not a raw-sushi person at all, but they have amazing cooked options. i'm obsessed with the salmon yaki roll. seriously, it’s that good, always fresh and consistent.

we chatted with the owner once, and he told us he even makes the wasabi from scratch. the wasabi alone deserves an award, so flavorful, not the harsh store-bought kind. the owner is almost always there, making the sushi himself and running things with such a friendly vibe. he truly deserves recognition. this is literally the only sushi my stomach can tolerate, so that says a lot.

and it’s not just the sushi. their entrées are unforgettable too. my husband swears by the chicken katsu: crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and the portion/price is super fair.
