“This is a cute spot. I like the decor. The waitress was nice. We were celebrating a birthday and she was very accommodating with playing happy birthday and bringing out the slice of cake that I purchased. I didn't like the dish that I ordered (shrimp, lobster and crab pasta)! The pasta was extremely salty and the sauce was thick! I sent it back the first time and that provided another one that turned out to be just as bad. It was still super thick but just bland this time. Needless to say I didn't eat it. I just requested a to go tray and gave to a person on my way home who asked me to buy them some food. I said “I'm so glad you asked, here you !” It was my first time visiting this establishment and I won't be returning. However, I wish them nothing but the best.“

Our waitress taylor was incredible and the manager (so sorry but we never got his name because he was just being so nice to us) was incredible as well. El día de hoy, martes 26 de noviembre, llegué a cenar a las 8:45 pm confiando en la información publicada en sus redes sociales, donde claramente se especifica que el horario de cierre es a las 11:00 pm. No obstante, a las 9:30 pm ya se estaba anunciando el "último llamado" para bebidas alcohólicas. Además, durante mi estancia, fui testigo de cómo dos familias fueron rechazadas para cenar por el mismo motivo: el restaurante estaba cerrando antes de tiempo debido a "la falta de clientes". Entiendo que puedan surgir situaciones operativas, pero considero que este tipo de decisiones impacta negativamente en la experiencia de sus clientes. Cuando se anuncia un horario de cierre, los clientes planeamos nuestras visitas en base a esa información. De no ser posible mantener el horario anunciado, sería más transparente ajustarlo oficialmente en sus plataformas para que las personas puedan planear con anticipación y, en caso necesario, optar por otras opciones. Por último, quiero mencionar que esta inconformidad fue compartida con nuestra mesera, quien nos escuchó con amabilidad. Sin embargo, creo que esta situación requiere un ajuste desde la gerencia para evitar malentendidos en el futuro. “I had to order quite a bit of  food for a lunch for my family and I before we were supposed to be going to a wedding. We stayed at a hotel nearby and knew that we would not eat dinner until much later and needed something to hold us over. This place was the perfect option.
Not only was I able to get the prices over the phone, the people who work here texted me pictures of food, sent prices and confirmed sizes with me and gave recommendations about how much to get for how many people, including telling me how long before I needed to order to make sure I got my order ready in time for pick up since I was ordering in advance.
The Afghani palaou was fantastic, as was the garlic and spicy green sauce.
I especially loved the mix kabobs and I wish they had this option at all afghan/ pakistani places. The option to get a mix tray of kabobs with the pieces cut up would be a game changer for parties!
I ordered a small tray of salad thinking not many people would like it (but I like salad so I figured I would have leftovers for later), but to my surprise that was gobbled up quick! Everyone loved it. I'm a fan of this place and plan on dining in when I come next!“

“Wow. Get the ham and crab jian bing. It is outstanding. All the textures in one bite. Tender, crunchy, chewy, warm. Total mouthful. The veg is fresh, not droopy. It's made to order and ready fast. If you have to eat and go, they even give you a disposable glove. Fantastic.“

“I went to Chicago for my niece’s graduation, and then my sister, brother in law and I went to one of his favorite spots.
We drove to El Cubanito in Logan Square.
This spot is a neighborhood staple, & had been there for years.

Not gonna lie, I was super excited to try out some good (dare I say GREAT) Cuban food. Y’all, this place did NOT disappoint!!I ordered the Steak Cubanito ($8.35). I can’t tell you the spices that made up this sammy, but I can tell you I had to cross my legs once I bit into it! Portion size was excellent and filling. The steak was tender, hot and delicious. My only regret is that I can’t get another! I ordered the can of soda ($2) because it was unfamiliar to me.

Sodas aren’t typically my thing, and this one was no exception as it had an aftertaste that reminded me of some kind of artificial sweetener.

The plantains were excellent!

I rated service a “4” because you order at the register and they call you to come pick it up. I rated Atmosphere a “4” because it’s a true local spot, not upity and not scary.“

“The lump crab with shrimp stuffed mushrooms was very good. We did have a cup of the lobster bisque and was not pleased with it at all I could barely taste any Lobster and any Sherry That was supposed to be with it the bisque was too heavy and should have been velvety and creamy and was not our entrees were filet mignon 6 and 8 oz which are very good cooked perfectly. The table service was poor with mistakes being made several times it seemed like he was in a rush which he didn't need to be because we were not in any rush at all but looking forward to an enjoyable afternoon of dinner“
