“So today I had a friend in from out of town and we topped off our afternoon with a visit to Miski Bakery. I was dying to try the alfajores, and they did not disappoint! The very delicate morsels melted in our mouth, and the creamy luscious dollop of dulce de leche caramel was a perfect pairing. In addition we tried the Milhojas/Napoleons in two flavors the Lucuma pastry creme and also the dulce de leche. A thousand layers is correct, these were amazingly tall, crispy and filled with air, both were delicious but the Lucuma(a Peruvian fruit) pastry creme was the standout. It had such a delightful delicate flavor I had never tasted previously. After speaking with Carmen the owner I asked whether or not they ever carried Turrón de doñja Pepa. She just happened to have some freshly baked sitting on the tray behind the counter, but alas it was still awaiting its filling. This gives me a great reason to return and indulge in that special treat. It is prepared every other week. The service was warm and friendly. This is definitely a hidden gem in the neighborhood you shouldn't miss out on. I will be returning often.“

Met the owner, named Chelsey, and watched as she decorated a cake she just made.

Small colorful shop and environment is welcoming and cheerful.

The sweets were fantastic.

If you are in the Oak Park area or furthers, its worth the trip.

“There's a reason the line here is sometimes half a block long. The scones and banana bread are out of this world but the Olive oil cake is among the tastiest things I've had. Regardless of the time of day or how crowded they are the staff is friendly and incredibly efficient. I've never had to wait on my order for more than a couple of minutes. Fantastic neighborhood gem!“

“We were pleasantly surprised! However, on the website it says some locations have Semi-sweet chocolate chip cookies on Thursdays…if this location had those I’d be here every day. The milk chocolate was just okay, not the best because milk chocolate doesn’t balance out the cookie. That’s why crumbl chocolate chip is bad. Semi-sweet chips are always the better choice! Please bring them to Mt. Prospect! (Not sure why they wouldn’t just be on the menu in the first place and every day, not just Thursdays?) Thank you!“

When I went for the first time I needed a seller because this work like self service, they help me and were so kind. Cookies are expensive but so delicious. The store is too small and it’s confuse because there are two lines, one for order and one for pickup, because of the size of the store it’s kind a mess“

“Mr Cake Never Disappoints. The staff is so incredibly friendly and pay attention to detail. Their cakes are always rich in flavor, soft and never dry. I have ordered a lot of cakes from them in the past but this time around I had to order my cake over the phone since I could not make it in. I had full faith in them to design my daughter’s cake with one request, light pink with white flowers. I knew I was going to love whatever design they came up with because they are just that good. “We love Eli’s Cheesecake in Chicago and have been coming every year ( at least 10 years as of now) to pick up cheesecakes for the holidays. We usually buy 20+ cheesecakes for our friends and neighbors, and the service is always wonderful. Rosa, the store manager, was always especially kind and helpful during our visits. So and Bryan and the rest of the team this past holiday were friendly and helpful too.

“Delicious! I grew up in des plaines near this bakery and always drove by it but never noticed. My fiance did when we came to visit my family. After a few visits, we finally decided to stop by. I’m glad we did! The place is cozy, almost feels like a cute European cafe. We bought a variety of tiramisu flavors, and the honey cake. They were all so good and fresh tasting. The person who helped us was also very sweet and recommended a few items.“

“Wonderful Bakery. Definitely worth a visit.

I have ordered many cakes from them. All have been great.
Even if you order them ahead of time. They seem to make your orders, so they finish them at the agreed order date. Always very fresh.

Their chocolate Ganache cake is a fan favorite whenever I order that. I personally like their strawberry vanilla cream cake. T

heir donuts are also good if your looking for a morning or weekend treat.
Same with their huge variety of cookies.

“Super friendly guys there. This was my 2nd Crumbl stop tonight as the 1st one off Golf (across from golf mill mall) did not honor my free bulls mini cookie. They said they didn’t have any chocolate chip cookies. So I called the one off Touhy Ave in Niles and the fellow named Cesar was super friendly and helpful and said they’d honor it. So I drove there and they did! At the store, Cesar was super friendly and the other fellow working there too. So nice compared to the employees at the Crumbl near me in Skokie. I avoid that location at all costs! They (Skokie location) have no customer service skills and would benefit from some training in customer service. Could learn a thing or two from Cesar and his coworker.“
