Throw in a cozy atmosphere with wood paneling and the smell of the fireplace. The best part is the service. From the moment you arrive until you get back in your vehicle their service is unmatched with a staff of professionals who have been there for years. “Best steak ever!!! It was an extremely tender rib eye - packed with flavor and cooked to the correct temp. Their mashed potatoes were divine and the Bordeaux was exquisite. As someone who DOESN’T keep kosher this was better than any steakhouse I’ve been to in the suburbs + city ?? Lincolnwood has THE best restaurants in the world. No one can tell me otherwise.“

Our group enjoyed a variety of dishes, including the Renegade Sirloin Steak, Ribeye Steak, Baby Back Ribs, and the 7 oz. LongHorn Salmon paired with 8 ct. Redrock Grilled Shrimp. We also had side orders of Shrimp & Lobster Chowder, Mixed Greens Salad, and Mashed Potatoes.

The steaks were perfectly cooked and incredibly succulent, satisfying every steak lover's craving.

The ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender, seasoned just right, and absolutely perfect.

The salmon and shrimp were delicious, offering a fresh and flavorful complement to the hearty dishes.

The Shrimp & Lobster Chowder was the perfect choice for a chilly Friday night, warm and full of rich seafood flavors.

“I've been wanting to check out this restaurant for ages. I finally made the decision to go for my birthday to see what all the fuss is about. And let me tell you, the fuss is totally justified. The service is top-notch. The staff really go the extra mile. Our server Claire was fantastic; she made sure to ask if I liked my food and if not, she suggested something else that turned out to be amazing. She really knew her stuff when it came to the menu. Plus, she was super friendly and inviting. Just awesome. The food was delicious too. I had the Ribeye, and it was so juicy—definitely one of the best steaks I've ever had. This place is a little on the expensive side, but it's definitely worth treating yourself every once in a while. The ambiance was great as well.“

“I've eaten at a lot of Capital Grille's across the US, last night in Chicago was the BEST server I've encountered. Her name was Olivia, and from the moment of our arrival she was engaging and attentive - highly professional and just very charming. On our way out I mentioned this to the restaurant's operation manager Adam Margolies, who himself was hustling around all night in the front of the house taking care of guests . Bravo guys, well done! Now just start carrying Monkey 47 gin to elevate your martinis to perfect. Thanks - great experience!“

“We started with the potato and caviar croquettes, which were flawless. The breading was light and crisp, giving way to a rich, creamy filling. The caviar added a beautiful pop of flavor with its subtle nuttiness, perfectly balanced and truly memorable.

The super green salad exceeded expectations. I’m not usually a fan of kale, but this was exceptional. Crisp asparagus stems, broccoli, and pistachios added layers of texture, while the shaved Parmesan and a hint of chili flakes tied everything together beautifully.

For the main, we shared the 32-ounce, 45-day dry-aged porterhouse, cooked medium rare. It was exceptional, deeply flavorful, incredibly tender, and needed no sauce at all (though four were provided). The dry aging lent a nuanced complexity that reminded me of jamón ibérico, with a delicate nuttiness and subtle wine-like depth.

Service was warm and attentive, and the outdoor seating made for a lovely, relaxed evening.

“We visited this amazing establishment last night and ordered the filet and the Manhattan strip for our entrées with a side of the mushrooms, and it was possibly one of the best steaks we had had. Our server and Jesse was wonderful, and when he wasn’t available home, there was another manager who came and brought items out, so there was no delay in service while he was attending another customer and socialized at the table. We dined outside on the patio underneath the heat lamp and lights. The Barn was the perfect atmosphere for our relaxing evening together. We were very pleased with all that we ordered as well as the service. We would highly recommend the Barn restaurant to others.“
