“Slighly higher prices than the places we usually visit (Hansen's in Wilmot and Rusty Malts in Ringwood) We live in Fox Lake so Round Lake is a little closer than our usual stop for ice cream with the grandkids. That said, the grandkids loved La Michoacana! Incredibly colorful with a seemingly endless variety. The Ice cream was delicious and the service was wonderful! I highly recommend them if you're in the Round Lake area.“

“The Lakemoor location is great. The employees are always friendly. The cones are still as delicious as they were way back when I was young. They don’t skimp on the ice cream. Go, get an Original Rainbow cone. You will not be disappointed. Yum.?“

“My family of six ate at Culvers in McHenry on Tuesday, Dec 31 about 1:30. We were greeted with a pleasant hello. The lady who took our order got it right and was pleasant.Since were a group of 6, I figured it would take a little longer to get our order. That wasn't the case. Not only did the order come quickly, but is also accurate. That was wonderful! When we were nearing the end of our meal, a gentleman, (Jude, I believe) can around with free samples of the flavor of the day (Mint explosion). Never has that happened at Colvers to me in the many times I eat at different Culvers! What a nice touch! Upon leaving, we got a cheery Thank you, have a great day and happy new year. I wish I lived a little closer because Culvers in McHenry would definitely be my go to place. Thank you for good food and the kindness you all showed.“

“Food is always good here- usually get the chicken tenders. Son loves the concrete mixer with heath and caramel. We were there the other day and ordered a root beer float- it tasted strange so I brought them back up, explained the taste, they checked and realized the syrup was empty- they apologized and remade the drinks for us.“

When I first tried the flavors here a couple years ago, they were NOT it, gross, something was off and even my favorite flavor I didn’t like. “Lately, I have had trouble finding great tasting, local food. A lot of places have that frozen dinner, mass produced taste. However, Asian Fusion was a pleasant surprise. I ordered the orange chicken and crab rangoon, something basic to determine if it is worth coming back. Will definitely be coming back to order other things off the menu. The rice appeared fresh and did not have any hardness or that leftover the next day and reheated quickly feeling. The orange chicken was amazing, and had a bit of a punch to it that I have not tasted anywhere else. Even the broccoli had snap and was not overcooked or soggy looking. The dinner came with a free egg roll which tasted just as great. It is connected to a rolled ice cream shop as well, and the person working the counter was also rolling up ice cream for other diners.“

“This is 2 or 3 times now in a row they've messed my order up in the drive thru. And it's a simple order of just a blizzard with 3 or 3 toppings. Not hard at all! They can't understand simple English let alone you can't understand what the worker is saying ether. Everything else is great as always!“
