“I was introduced to Half Shall about 9 years ago. I must admit hands down the best King Crab Legs I've had in a long time. Let's talk about the Catfish/Jumbo Fried Shrimp. Lord have mercy on me! Very good, very good, very good. The cocktails are not bad either. I've brought family members from the DC location and they absolutely loved the food. I've never encountered a bad waitress or poor customer service. The perfect little GEM in the neighborhood.“

“I have gone to Andros Taverna for many years now where I am never disappointed and always impressed with the service, the quality of food and ingredients, the atmosphere and the passion in general. Chef Doug Psaltis is a true expert and artist performing at the highest levels. The gyros are the best, best gyros in Chicago by far, the seafood world class, the homemade bread and pita are incredible. The foods and meats are cooked over wood fire, wood fire grilled. We had our daughters baptism catered from here which was excellent assortment of Greek food - this is a Greek restaurant you will go to for many years to come.“

“Where do you go for dinner if you (regrettably) only have one night in Chicago? Gibson’s Italia, of course! From our first drink at the bar to our stunning riverfront table for dinner, everything was simply spectacular! We started by sharing the Arancini Cacio E Pepe and the Cacio E Pepe before savoring my filet mignon and her New York strip steak with sides of Brussels sprouts and handmade fries, topped off with an flaming baked Alaska! Destinee was the perfect attentive server who never rushed and gave us space to enjoy, and maître d’ Patrick and Manager Andrew added their personal touch and attention as well! I may never be hungry again, and my memories of the perfect night in Chicago will live on!“

“I went in there last week to buy jumbo shrimp $24.95 per LB. Is there new owners in this place. When I got home there was small shrimp with a couple of Jumbo...I should of took a picture. They use to put the fried shrimp in a wax lined brown bag...now they have a with paper container when I got home all was cold. Not wasting my time..“

“My wife and I dined at Mariscos San Pedro for a special birthday dinner. We dine out a fair amount and this is one of the best restaurants that we've been to this year. This Mexican seafood restaurant has it all: amazing expertly prepared, unique, adventurous, appetizers and entrees, and an amazing house staff. Thanks Taylor for guiding us on our dining adventure! “We moved to North Center right around the time Armano opened. This has become our go to spot for dinners out as well as our favorite place to bring friends. The food is exceptional with a menu just big enough to explore without feeling overwhelmed. The team at Armano is also wonderful and we've consistently received excellent service. Can't recommend this place enough.“
“I’ve been religiously going to Fish Guy for my seafood for a couple years now, since prior to the change in ownership. Aaron & the team have modernized the business in the best ways, without losing the charm of the shop. Most recently, I got my order DELIVERED (seamlessly!) when I couldn’t make it to the store before an anniversary weekend consisting of caviar, shrimp, mussels, and more. It’s funny to feel like a fan rooting for your team when your team is a local seafood spot, but that’s where I’m at! Keep up the great product and service 🐟🕺“

“If you’re in Chicago and looking for amazing food, S2 Grills Chicago is definitely a spot you need to check out. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by extremely friendly staff who made us feel welcome right away. The service started off great and stayed that way the entire time. We were seated very quickly and didn’t have to wait long at all. The food came out fresh and hot, and no joke; everything we tried was extremely delicious. We decided to try a little bit of everything so we could really experience the menu. We ordered the oxtails, Alfredo pasta, lamb chops, fried catfish, rib tips, baked mac & cheese, and candied yams, and every single dish was on point. The flavors were incredible and everything was cooked perfectly. Another thing that really stood out was how clean the restaurant was. Even the bathrooms were spotless, which always says a lot about a place. Great food, great service, and a clean environment; you can’t ask for much more than that. Hands down a 10/10 experience. Highly recommend S2 Grills Chicago if you’re in the area.“
