“Drinks are usually good. Food is always lacking. Hashbrowns have been a half serving multiple times and the bacon/egg/cheese Wake Up Wrap was so small it shouldn't even be considered a snack.
I would not recommend buying any food item except the donuts which have consistently been great. The Wake Up Wrap is $3 and probably weighs less than an ice cube.
What I do now is get my drinks from Dunkin and get my food across the street. Both drive thru's are fast!“

“I stopped here driving through town with my brother and boyfriend, we all agreed this was the best mcdonalds we'd ever had. seriously so fresh tasting. the burgers, and a mcchicken which was seriously amazing. my boyfriend thought the fries were just maybe a little stale but I didn't notice. service wasnt anything crazy, they got us through fast and our food was correct so I don't mind that they didn't say much.“

“I come here because they do pour-overs. Really Good pour-overs. (If they're busy, multi-tasking staff may miss the correcting timing so the extractions are suboptimal and may alter the taste in the negative.) But still a great coffee - I'm nitpicking.

I enjoy this more than the other places in Libertyville because the barista's really know their products - every one I've talked with has been able to discuss each coffee with knowledge that helps me learn. And oh so friendly, nice people who work there.

Pastry choices are limited, so-so in taste, and too sugary for me (donuts, muffins) They could use some nice croissants, chocolate croissants, morning buns, etc. If they partnered with Hewn Bakery it would be perfect. (I will often get coffee to go, and bring my own Hewn to eat outside at the benches.)“

I have been a customer for years and finally placed my first catering order for my daughter’s birthday party, the process was simple and easy. Pick up was fast and speedy. All the guests LOVED the sandwiches and pasta salad and the presentation was beautiful! Plus I got to try some of my favorite sandwiches and labrettis in smaller portions. I can’t recommend them enough!!“

After talking with the owner, we learned the building is over 100 years old and it was a filling station. They have transformed the building into a very quaint location that is very welcoming! This is one of my go to places in Libertyville. I love the atmosphere, the location, and their sandwiches/scones. The only reason I'm giving it a 4/5 is I'm a chai lover and I wish they had a chai that was vanilla flavored on the menu. It's very spicy and I'm not a fan. Other than this, my friends always rave about the drinks they get since I'm not an actual coffee person.“

“5+1?This small out-of-the-way Starbucks (located inside Target) is really a diamond in the rough, if you consider Starbucks a diamond, LOL. They make the store on Grand and Green Bay look pathetic. The young man working behind the counter, his name is Felipe, is extremely articulate and knowledgeable, about Starbucks offerings, unlike the other store. I came in for the Medicine Ball, that is a stress relieving, stomach settling concoction that Starbucks has come up with. It's not on the menu but if you're stressed or just not feeling well, this is the thing to get. See Felipe, he's a nice young man and working his way through school. He is very attentive and always smiling. As a matter of fact I'm going to give them an extra star because he's such an excellent hire for them, he should be in management.??“

“The store obviously has a struggle with coverage, probably due to the coronavirus and poor work conditions but they always do what they can to make the moment right. The drive thru always seems to be busy, so expect a wait of 5-10 minutes. The cafe, correspondingly, is busy early in the day and random times throughout the afternoon but is maintained and cleaned well. The store I can tell has a few new employees that are still learning and may mess up your drink or order occasionally. There was a barista, Max, I believe, who got me to smile one day in the drive thru and I saw him again inside the next day helping a customer fix an order that was made or ordered wrong and offered to refund the drink if he wasn’t satisfied. Overall, the store is in great condition and has friendly service but does occasionally experience staff and product shortages which usually means a longer wait.“

“Something new in the Mall food court! Staff is so friendly and talkative, love them! They have truly great selection of unordinary pizzas. You have to try ordering from the menu! Ready slices are good, but freshly made mouthwatering pizza is so much better. I tried pear pizza, was very impressive, chef's creation, but my best favorite is vegetarian pizza. “Came in today for a coffee to see a man being an absolute idiot to the girl behind the counter.
This man sat there and nit picked everything she was doing.
He proceeded to nit pick how the machine brewed espresso and that he wanted his coffee exactly 118 degrees.

My wedding was scheduled for August 8,2020. But due to Covid-19, we unfortunately had to cancel. Janice was extremely compassionate, understanding and flexible during the whole process. Sweet Home Gelato was the most compassionate and flexible vendor. It is not easy to cancel a wedding, unfortunately many vendors were not as accommodating. Janice immediately offered a refund, date change or gift card for the deposit. Sweet Home Gelato was under no circumstance required to issue a refund. “I used to come to this location every morning when I was a farmer to buy the exact same thing. Two breakfast sandwiches, egg protein box, and a large açaí refresher. Never have I ever had a problem here. I feel bad going through the drive through especially when there’s multiple cars ahead of me and that does take a considerable amount of patience to endure sometimes but the food and drink always comes how I ordered it so it’s worth the wait. I went in on thanksgiving twice in the same day, once in the store and once in the drive through and both times I got what I ordered and the staff were (and normally are) very friendly. One star taken off simply because the pricing is insane :)“
