From the moment I walked through the door, I felt an immediate sense of comfort, warmth, and genuine hospitality that you don’t often find anymore. This coffee shop has perfected the balance between great ambience, exceptional coffee, and truly memorable service — and that combination makes it stand out above the rest.
First, the atmosphere:
The interior is beautifully designed: cozy but spacious, modern yet still incredibly inviting. There are comfortable seating options for everyone — whether you want to tuck away in a quiet corner with a book, spread out your laptop and get some work done, or sit at a window table and people-watch. Soft music plays in the background, at a perfect volume that adds to the vibe without overpowering conversations. The space is bright and airy during the day, thanks to the big windows, and feels warm and intimate in the evening with the soft lighting. It’s the kind of place you walk into and immediately think, “Yes… this is where I want to spend some time.”
Now, the coffee — absolutely phenomenal.
You can tell that the baristas here genuinely care about what they’re doing. The espresso is rich, smooth, and expertly pulled; the lattes are silky and balanced; and the specialty drinks are incredible without being overly sweet or artificial. Everything tastes thoughtfully crafted. I ordered a latte (my usual test of a new café) and it was one of the best I’ve had in a long time — velvety microfoam, deep coffee flavor, and perfectly served at the right temperature. I’ve since tasted a few of their signature drinks and each one impressed me: creative, unique, and absolutely delicious.
Their pastries and food deserve a shout-out too.

All in all, this coffee shop has become one of my favorite places to relax, work, or meet friends. The coffee was tasty, the girls loved the herbal tea he made for them at just the right temperature, and the holler deal for a pastry and beverage can’t be beat! He even took the time to bring out some coloring books and colored pencils to give the girls something to do, though I think they were most entranced with the working rotary phone. We will definitely be back!“

“This coffee shop has the best atmosphere - inside AND outside! The inside was very clean and modern. Baked goods (cinnamon) were fresh and delicious as was the hot chocolate! Friendly staff.
The outside was my favorite part: Great for people-watching (large corner lot). Heaters were installed ON the awnings, which covered the entire table, and not just on a tall pole on part of the table. The best part was the doggy Biscuit Bar - awesome, varied dog treats and water on an outdoor cart. See photos

“Being in Argyle, Uptown to pick up some food, I was told to come back in 30 minutes. A warm drink on a slightly chilly fall day didn’t sound like a bad idea, and a coffee shop was just one block away.
My first impression was of its vintage décor and the many young customers reading their physical books. A friendly young staff member in a mustard-colored shirt kindly recommended me a nice warm drink.
Sitting down and enjoying my first sip brought a wave of emotion — it felt like being in an oasis where everything moved in slow motion. People were sipping coffee, enjoying books, or chatting with their ”physical” friends. It was simply an unforgettable moment.

Their outside patio is great to sit at under the string lights if the weather permits. I love that this cafe also supports local artists by hosting an artist by displaying their pieces on the walls for a certain amount of time and also does an opening introduction night for the artist! How amazing to support other local artists. I also love that this cafe is more for connecting with other people where you can't sit and study/work at their tables but you can sit at the bar and study/work so you get the best of both worlds! Service: I gave 4 stars. The service is always efficient, which I appreciate. However, some of the baristas often bring their bad moods or negative attitudes about whatever to work with them, which makes them seem unfriendly, as if customers are a bother.

Otherwise, the coffee is delicious, and the pastries are excellent! (Much better than Starbucks!)“
