“I've been to this location a handful of times and have had a great experience with the food and service every time but the wait time could be improved on. Each time I've visited it always seems to take twice as long as you would anticipate.

With that being said though, it has always been worth the wait because the food and service from the employees has been well above my expectations. The employees are super friendly and willing to answer any questions you may have. Definitely recommend this location.“

“The ice cream is very good, but...don't plan on any "naughty" flavors at the Edwardsville store, probably ever. That aspect is very disappointing. Service is great, atmosphere good. The owners should be up-front and post "no boozy flavors" on the Edwardsville website, not just a sign inside (after you're already inside the store). The ice cream was very tasty, but I was craving something "special".“

“Great food all around. I’ve ordered takeout from this spot several times and they’ve never disappointed. Today was my first time dining in, and the experience was even better. The staff was incredibly accommodating — I wanted to hang out and get some work done on my laptop, and they helped me get connected to the guest Wi‑Fi right away. Even after I finished eating, they kept my drinks refilled and I never once felt rushed, even as the dining room got a little busier.

On top of that, they offer an impressive variety — sushi, ramen, and even boba — which you don’t see at many places in the Metro East. They also have more rolls than most spots around here, and I’ve never spent as much here as I have at other sushi restaurants. Overall, great food, great service, and a really comfortable place to relax or get some work done.“

“My brother is terminally ill. One of two things on his bucket list were to 1) go deep sea fishing - which can’t happen, and 2) try Gooey Buttercake Ice Cream. After running everywhere yesterday to try to find it, with no luck, as a last ditch effort I went in to Annie’s. They did not have it on the menu but Emily (the owner) was so considerate when she heard what was happening that she decided to attempt to make it on her own for me to pick up today. She told me everyone said it was delicious who tried it. Unfortunately, my brother will likely not be able to taste it as he is relatively unresponsive within a very short 24 hour period. The service, the support, them going above and beyond from what I could have ever dreamed of is absolutely beyond words. I’m sure Tom would have loved it. Thank you, Emily! “I gave them a picture of a macaw dressed as a pirate for a birthday cake and asked for yellow and red borders. And I put in the notes that it was for a Hawaiian pirates themed birthday party. The absolute hero of a decorator ran with our idea. They put palm trees, a pirate map, beautiful colorful flowers and made sand out of graham cracker crumbs!!! They could’ve done the bare minimum but they went above and beyond and knocked it out of the park. This cake was a masterpiece and the decorator deserves a raise! Thank you so very much!“

My fiance while waiting ordered a chicken tender basket that he said was amazing. Amazing customer service.“
