From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed, and the staff made sure we had everything we needed. The service was top-notch—attentive, friendly, and efficient. The staff seemed like they cared about you buying the right or the best value, Last night we were ripped off. David was our server. Telling how great the specials were with out telling us the price. My wife wanted seafood not steak. So we ordered her the seafood crab legs, lobster tail and shrimp. Crab legs tasted like they were frozen for a long time, the lobster was Tuff. Shrimp was good in garlic butter. I had a steak. With mushrooms. Do your self a favor ask what the price for any specials . DON’T BUY ANYTHING WITHOUT KNOWING THE PRICE. Creole stew cooked with andouille sausage and okra. Served with steamed rice is common to the five styles: 1) Poarch Style - Shrimp, crab, lobster; 2) Shrimp; 3) Crab; 4) Lobster; and 5) Chicken varying in price from $30-$20. My version was clearly made to order—classic NOLA style gumbo with lobster as an add in—shrimp, crab, lobster, chicken and andouille sausage. \n\nFinally, you must “experience” the Seafood Étouffée -Cajun stew, shrimp, crab, and lobster served over soft moist white rice.“

“Stopped by Mariscos Almada for dinner and was impressed. The Tostada de Camarón was fresh and zesty, and the Camarones a la Diabla packed a flavorful punch. The Caldo de Camarón was hearty and comforting. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was casual. Spent about $30, which felt like a solid deal for the quality and portions. Looking forward to trying more dishes next time.“

“Had never eaten here before attending a memorial lunch for a family member yesterday.Wonderful buffet,many choices-we had perch,beef and roasted chicken.Fresh veggies,good salad,roasted redskins,excellent rolls and very good ice cream for dessert.Table service was excellent,our waitress was friendly and professional,and we did not feel rushed(you know how people linger to chat at gatherings like this) .I highly recommend this venue and will be trying their restaurant again.Also had very clean bathrooms! “I saw video on tik tok, so I went. I got the shrimp and the perch just like the guy on tik tok. The shrimp were really good, not a lot of heavy batter, but that perch had no seasoning at all. I was highly disappointed with the perch. Will I drive to Gary again for it,probably not. You go and get those shrimp. “I had the chicken sandwich with fries and it was cooked perfectly. I've had a lot of disappointing chicken sandwiches over the years but this one was hands down one of the best I've had. And they gave me extra mayo on the side without even asking for it. They ain't playin' here. The chicken gizzards are also really good!“

“Came in and the place was completely empty, sign said "seat yourselves" it felt kind of awkward but someone came out to greet us a few seconds later. Staff was super friendly and nice! I brought my grandmother and she wanted to split her meal with someone who wasn't able to come to the restaurant in person, so they brought out half of her meal and waited until we were almost done with the other half freshly made and packaged! Lake perch was great! Not like other restaurants that try to serve ocean perch as lake perch. The Nashville hot chicken strips were a little disappointing they didn't have any heat to them, but the chicken was cooked perfectly and the breading was really good so it made up for it! Mac n cheese was delicious, I was even impressed with the fries! None of them were soggy or over salted! I'm sad I couldn't have tried them sooner!“
