Their mild sauce goes great with the shrimp. If you want a little spice, get the hot one and mix them up. I always get a pound of shrimp so I will have some now, and later.“

My wife wanted seafood not steak. So we ordered her the seafood crab legs, lobster tail and shrimp. Crab legs tasted like they were frozen for a long time, the lobster was Tuff. Shrimp was good in garlic butter. I had a steak. With mushrooms. Do your self a favor ask what the price for any specials . DON’T BUY ANYTHING WITHOUT KNOWING THE PRICE. “I saw video on tik tok, so I went. I got the shrimp and the perch just like the guy on tik tok. The shrimp were really good, not a lot of heavy batter, but that perch had no seasoning at all. I was highly disappointed with the perch. Will I drive to Gary again for it,probably not. You go and get those shrimp. “Had never eaten here before attending a memorial lunch for a family member yesterday.Wonderful buffet,many choices-we had perch,beef and roasted chicken.Fresh veggies,good salad,roasted redskins,excellent rolls and very good ice cream for dessert.Table service was excellent,our waitress was friendly and professional,and we did not feel rushed(you know how people linger to chat at gatherings like this) .I highly recommend this venue and will be trying their restaurant again.Also had very clean bathrooms! “If you like authentic local place for Mexican seafood this is the place for you. Some of the best rice I've had outside of a little Mexican woman I know that makes great Spanish rice. I love places like this where it feels like need to speak Spanish to order. You do not need to speak Spanish to order but it doesn't hurt. Great value, really good food - I recommend highly! “Came in and the place was completely empty, sign said "seat yourselves" it felt kind of awkward but someone came out to greet us a few seconds later. Staff was super friendly and nice! I brought my grandmother and she wanted to split her meal with someone who wasn't able to come to the restaurant in person, so they brought out half of her meal and waited until we were almost done with the other half freshly made and packaged! Lake perch was great! Not like other restaurants that try to serve ocean perch as lake perch. The Nashville hot chicken strips were a little disappointing they didn't have any heat to them, but the chicken was cooked perfectly and the breading was really good so it made up for it! Mac n cheese was delicious, I was even impressed with the fries! None of them were soggy or over salted! I'm sad I couldn't have tried them sooner!“

“It's not in the best location but it is one of the better options for fried chicken wings and HUGE chicken tenders!! The inside of the building is older but it is always clean inside. It's very convenient because if I need to go to Aldi across the street while my order is being prepared I can. I will go out of my way for Good Fresh Food. Do not forget the lemon pepper 😉!!“
