“Best in KC! Can't beat their ribs. Their burnt ends can't be beat. Brisket is delicious. Backed beans are top of the line. Their cheesy corn is the best. My wife's cousin travels a lot and uses Roscoe's as his standard to judge other BBQ restaurants.“

“Food is really good, I've ordered many times from them but my last order included an $8.25 fee for carry out supplies. They charge a percent of the entire bill. No where in the check out process do they tell you this. This seems excessive for 6 utensil packs and 5 takeout containers. Many other BBQ places with similar price points do not charge this fee. If you are going to charge extra fees be up front about it.“

First, the entire meal was late, they had to substitute knots for garlic bread, waited forever and the calzone had literally one piece of meat about 1"x1.5" and what looked like a mozzarella stick for cheese. The meal was gross, late, over cooked and not what we ordered or paid for. So disappointed. Since it is a long drive we regularly make I doubt we will be returning. $34 meal wasted.“

“My sister and I had lunch here yesterday and loved it!!! Pretzels were really good for an appetizer and then the Chicken Pot Pie was SO FREAKING GOOD!!! “I ordered from here for the first time and did pickup. I ordered the mango lassi, Chicken Korma, some fries, and Garlic naan. Every single thing was so delicious. I will 100% be back. The food was hot and delicious and was ready quickly. The mango lassi was super creamy and delicious. The man that greeted me was super sweet and let Me know I can follow instagram for coupons on future orders. I will definitely be back.“

I smell it all day and it makes my afternoon. DEFINITELY GO HERE. The menu is huge, and prices are great! One meal feeds me a big lunch for 2 days. “Ate here last night and this restaurant is a "must try!" I had the 12 oz. KC Strip, mashed potatoes, garlic green beans, and... for dessert, apple caramel bread pudding with cinnamon ice cream was to die for! The atmosphere was a bit loud for my taste, but aside from that, it was delightful!“

“Always delicious food. Great service but shorthanded alot. Tend to have long wait times but the food is always so good. Can't beat the bread while you wait and those Brussel sprouts are addictive. Dessert is always perfect. Better cheese cake than most restaurants including the Cheesecake Factory which honestly is overrated and the cheesecake is not much better than something from the grocery store. Longhorns cheesecake starts fights in my house so definitely give it a try. You won't regret it!“

“Food was great. My only issue is a very slight mix up. I ordered avocado toast to go on my toast with my omelet. Instead a secondary whole plate came out. It was simple miscommunication, and I did not complain. I simply ate it and paid.

The waitress was so nice and was very quick to take care of everything that I did not want to be a problem. I am sure they would have fixed it if I had said something.“

“I started out eating at a Pegah's in Shawnee. I was thrilled when they opened the one in Lenexa and eat there on a regular basis. I had breakfast there last Sunday and had perfect food (Combo Breakfast) and service. Tonight, I went for dinner. They were pretty busy but I was immediately seated in a quiet corner in the back. My server, Ali, brought me water per my request and took my order. She was hustling from table to table, but always assured me my order would be ready soon. A wonderful young man named Zack noticed me sitting with water and rushed over to make sure I had been helped. Soon after, Ali brought my chicken fried chicken. She was always smiling and checked on me a handful of times. The food, as always, was DELICIOUS! Thank you for your delicious food and wonderful staff. I recommend Pegah's to everyone!“

“Came in on a superbowl Sunday and it was quiet ish, the bartender, Ryan was great though, engaging, great service, dealt with my indecisiveness quickly. I had a great time just chilling on a quiet night. Came back Tuesday and it was lively, plenty of friendly locals. Ryan remembered my name and what I was drinking. My hometown dive bars don't serve food, but I felt at home, which is rare.

I'll be back, whenever I'm in town. A+ in my book. If you're on the fence, just come in.“

“I stopped in here after visiting with a friend. I’m so glad I stopped in. To drink, I got the Royal Lemonade—well balanced. For food, I got the mozzarella sticks and ginger burger (I was super hungry, but had to take home some of my burger). To be honest, the burger is not something I would normally order, but it was recommended and I’m glad I went for it. I would definitely eat it again. The atmosphere here is nice. It’s clean and comfortable. The regulars here are nice and the staff is friendly. You never know when you walk into a bar “that’s not yours” how you’ll be treated. I told my partner that if we lived down here that I could see us coming here often. You should give them a try.“

“We were so hungry when we arrived at Holy Land Cafe. It was late afternoon noon on one of our BRISK winter days. We walked in the door and or welcomed with the aroma of wonderful food coming from the kitchen. We chose to sit in a booth not too far from the entrance. The staff attended to us almost immediately. My husband ordered the garlic chicken dinner and I ordered the falafel sandwich. We both had the lentil soup as the accompaniment to our meal. The soup was served quickly, it was hot and delicious. Just what we needed to warm ourselves up. The food was served very quickly, And it was also delicious. My husband's meal I believe cost $15, And it was a substantial portion of food. The chunks if chicken breast were covered in a garlic and cream sauce I believe with maybe saffron in it, Served with rice, veggies ,and Pita bread. My falafel sandwich was amazing as well. There are 3 things that I judge mediterranean restaurants on one is their hummus the other is their falafel and the third is their pita bread. I combined all 3 things in my sandwich, And I was not disappointed. We couldn't believe we had never been to this restaurant before and we certainly will make sure that we return again. As we were paying for our meal we decided to get the pistachio baklava. They have several varieties of baklava and the pistachio one was a hit. Looking forward to trying the other varieties on another visit.“
