“Are at the flying monkey tavern at the pennant. Have the chips and queso and a double bacon me crazy burger. Was a really good burger fries were crispy. The chips and queso was excellent as well. The whole menu looked great and was hard to choose what to get for my meal.“

“Don't sleep on this place, their food is all good, ALL OF IT! This is definitely a hidden gem of Topeka. Parking is limited but its worth the walk if you have to park at Apple Market across the street. The reuben sandwich was to die for as well as the fried mushrooms. They cook their eggs to perfection and the meat is phenomenal. The atmosphere is very fun, family owned restaurant and small town feel is addictive in this current climate where everything is go go go. Love this place and will definitely be back! 5 stars all the way!!!“

“Wonderful service, fantastic food, generous portion sizes. Best biscuits I’ve had in Kansas (I’m from the south) and almost requested another batch to take home. Our server was a delight and didnt make us feel rushed even tho we came in an hour before close. It was our anniversary and we got a flat while heading to wanamaker for red lobster but the website said they close at 9. Longhorn took great care of us and made the evening wonderful.“

“The customer service I received this sunday at Perkin’s was phenomenal. I went out to eat with my mother in law and my infant son. He is at the teething age therefore he is quite cranky. The entire beginning of us getting there and ordering was filled with him crying (which is not fun in a restaurant). Once our meals came, a sweet older lady who is a team lead there, came to our table and offered to hold my crying son so I can eat. She said that I needed it. Not once has this type of customer service been offered to me anywhere else. I will remember this moment for a long time.“

“There are two times in my life where I haven't left a tip and 11/11/25was one of them. I and two of my co-workers and 3 of my special needs.Clients went to tailgaters for lunch. They were busy which was fine. My co-worker asked if they could wipe off a table for us.The waitress response was as soon as we can. My clients were well behaved and didn't cause any trouble. Later, the waitress came to our table and asked to take our order One of my clients was playing with the menu and laughing?She proceeded to put her hand on the menu and said enough of that.I already have a crying baby.Because there was a baby crying at another table. the waitress was very disrespectful and down right mean to us. she walked by her table several times did not stop to check on us , did not refill drinks and didn't even acknowledge that we were even there. It took forever to get our tickets and once we got our tickets.My co worker said we're ready to pay but the waitress proceeded to leave the table anyway. so we had to wait even longer for her to come back and take our tickets. We told another co-worker when we got back to the facility about what happened.He was upset and called the store. but our luck, the waitress who waited on us happened to be the manager and the owner.But we're wondering if that's even true. We were downright ignored and disrespected. I understand how frustrating it is work busy and shorthanded but that is no reason to be downright mean. We will not back. My agency had Tailgators on the schedule once a month but since this horrid waitress made us feel unwelcome and treated us like an inconvenience we will not be returning. A person shows their true character by how they treat the vulnerable.“

“Up until a couple of weeks ago, it had been a Long Time, since I'd eaten at the Blind Tiger.
Two Weeks ago I ordered the 'Texas Roadrunner'... and WOW ! It was beyond scrumptious !! The BBQ Brisket had an amazing flavor and was so tender... the Chicken Breast could have possibly been a bit 'dry', but it was really hard to tell with the melted cheese and sauce, which more than compensated. The food literally melted in my mouth is was soooo good!
Because of this experience, when I was back in town, I had to swing by the BT again, and this time I had the Brisket Platter... which again didn't disappoint. In fact it was sooo good and filling, I had to take the loaded baked potato home and devoured it for lunch the next day.
If you've not been to Blind Tiger for a while, I HIGHLY recommend you go by and check it out! Y U M !!!“
