Head chef Megan was just as lovely—so friendly and welcoming, and incredibly talented. Every dish we tried was fantastic. The manager checked in with us to ensure that we were having a good experience.

The chicken wings were a delicious surprise—an unexpectedly refined take on a familiar favorite. The mushrooms in the fried rice were to die for, and the sushi rolls were amazing. We can’t say enough good things about the food.

The atmosphere made the evening even more special, with pottery, exposed wood, great music, and even a bathroom that felt like an experience of its own. I wanted to move in. We can’t wait to come back! Thank you.“

“I have lived in the KC area all of my life, not sure how I never knew of this place. Really cool little farm to table restaurant. I went with 2 of my nephews today and we loved it. I had the Steak and Eggs Benedict and it was perfect. My nephews had the Salmon Scramble and the Huevos Burrito, and they both said they were great. We will be back.

Today was my second trip here and it was as good as it was the first time, but I had to get the steak and eggs benedict again. I went with my sister and her husband and three kids and all of them loved it. And I will say Adam was one of the best servers I've ever had.“

“This is a must stop gem for a date night or just to kick back and have fun. He blends upbeat fun times with music that hits your soul. He also teaches you about the history of jazz in kansas city and really about how each song came to be. This was a genuinely a fun time that I wish would have lasted longer. “Food is really good, I've ordered many times from them but my last order included an $8.25 fee for carry out supplies. They charge a percent of the entire bill. No where in the check out process do they tell you this. This seems excessive for 6 utensil packs and 5 takeout containers. Many other BBQ places with similar price points do not charge this fee. If you are going to charge extra fees be up front about it.“

“We chose to dine at Grand Street - Plaza on a recent Tuesday due to good experiences in past years, close to KC Rep theatre where we were going afterwards, and convenient, free parking. Though their normal parking lot is torn up, we had the choice of attached parking garage (very convenient after entrance is found) or parking on the other side of the building. We enjoyed house salads, the trout and salmon main dishes, and house drinks (happy hour prices). The lady who served us did a great job.“

Brothers to my eyes because my late granny, just passed recently, make her burgers exactly like these burgers brought tears to my eyes and joy to my soul! So thank you Katie for giving me that wonderful feeling that I haven't had in a long time and a wonderful male and taste that was oh so familiar. Play old fashioned burgers made like our great Ernie's and grandmas used to make.“

on my way to work. Didn't realize it until I started eating in the car. I called to get a replacement. I was told to keep the regular tenders until after my shift and replace with the correct. I was hungry and of course ate before my shift. Partially my fault because I did not check my order before I left. Anthony at the window had great customer service food was good just not what I ordered. The male I spoke to on the phone was close minded to a mistake even being made. I wish this review had the option for me to upload a photo.“

“I'm not so sure about the Westport location after witnessing an employee kind of heavy set with dreads died at the tips snorting cocaine in the back by the dumpsters and selling drugs he had to be the cook and I just do not want any fairy dust on my waffles or my chicken I rather go braid water or bite the curb that is not what I expected to see when pulling up and I definitely don't want to spend my money with an establishment that knowingly hires drug addicts“

“Absolutely PHENOMENAL!!! Our group of 14 arrived here today at the Shawnee location for lunch. We were met by friendly staff and seated right away. Once we ordered our food, it arrived quickly! We were impressed! All 14 orders were correct, served hot and fresh, and so good!! Great size portions! The service was absolutely great! Refills were quick. The atmosphere is so fun! We all enjoyed our food arriving by train. The kids had a great time. and only 2 little ones had a nugget and few fries left. Everyone devoured their food. It's definitely a must experience! “Local Kansas Citian....stayed this weekend with my husband and had an AMAZING time! The room was spacious and clean! Bed was super comfy, and it was actually very quiet! We could see the city life below from our corner room, but most of the noise was completely blocked out! The hotel bar and the terrace bar were both amazing! And breakfast at the hotel was to die for! We will definitely be staying again!“
