“This place is so good that I almost want to keep it a secret. The food is really fantastic. It’s unique and you can tell that the owner has a passion to deliver quality. Cool design and the kid at the counter was really courteous and checked on us a lot. Truly remarkable place to eat.“
“Fantastic experience. Don’t know how we missed this place before. Fish and Chios is incredible, ribs were amazing. Excellent and delicious food. Wait staff was friendly, very helpful. Our highest recommendation for this Family Restaurant. Don’t miss out on the quality and flavor Bungalow Joe’s has to offer.Parking: Arrive early, shared parking with other businesses.“
“This place is fantastic. I order meals each week to feed my family and now I don't have to worry about what's for dinner. We haven't had a meal we don't like. Everything is delicious and macro balanced. I recommend this place to all my friends and family. I'm also a personal trainer and I have my clients use their meals to help reach their fat loss goals. It's great to have healthy selections for meals that taste great!!“
“Love this place! Each burger is very unique and seasoned to fit the style of where the meat came from. I have been here several times and have had the wagu, elk, and recently the yak burger. They were all so different and so good! Highly recommend if you want to try something new and different“
“Burger and Fries joint. Higher quality than fast your everyday fast food gurus. Burgers come with double patties. Fries are very good. Burgers are good but lack a little flavor. Maybe need more seasoning or sauce…idk. Was full, so didn’t get to try the shakes! But they look marvelous. Next time…“
“Our brunch experience was pure perfection from start to finish, thanks to the extremely friendly staff (you know who you are, Tone ?) setting up additional outdoor tables on the patio for us without us even having to ask. The sun was out – and they knew where ours heads were at. ?All of the brunch dishes I’ve ordered here have been divine. The staff is always friendly, goes above and beyond, and doesn’t make their guests feel uncomfortable asking for meal substitutions/alterations from the listed menu items. Everything is very chill – the way brunch should be!Thanks for another great experience in the Highlands sunshine, HM! ☀️??Dietary restrictions: Staff doesn’t mind menu customizations upon request“
“My fiancé and I had our engagement party here recently and loved it! The general manager Chad, was extremely accommodating, professional, friendly and helpful! If you need somewhere to just grab some quick food, or if you’re looking for a space to plan an event, this is the place for you! I cannot recommend this place enough!“
“My favorite chain burger in the city! This place has definitely earned its spot in the regular lunch rotation. I've been about a dozen times since they've opened and the food has always been great and the drive thru line moves quick. I recommend this location specifically since it's so nice to be able to take a burger, fries n shake to Tom Sawyer for a picnic!“
“Absolutely amazing smash burger! Fries hit the spot as well. I'm a huge sauce fan and Jay's sauce shouldn't be on the burger only, use it for dipping sauce with fries as well! If you're a ketchup fan, they will give it out with fries as well. If you need Grass-fed beef for your patties, this is your spot for a quick local bite of goodness!“
“One of my family's favorite spots. Great service and atmosphere. I've never had less than fantastic food. They're oddly out of one thing or another pretty often though so if you have a favorite, you should call first so you aren't disappointed.“
“The s’mores dessert was insane! I brought it home to my fiancé after dinner with friends without looking at it and we were both blown away with how great it looked and tasted. Way fancier than we expected.I was pleasantly surprised by the menu. They had classics like chicken pot pie, specialty hot dogs like you would expect from the name, but also lighter options if you’re looking for something fresh like a tuna salad place with crudités.“
“Great atmosphere and food. I had the brisket burger with fries and a slice of pecan pie. It was delicious. We also ordered the pulled pork nachos which I wasn’t a fan of but others in our group loved them.Hi kids. If you’re reading this in the future and I’m gone, I’m still with you. Keep following the map of reviews to see where dad has been. Love you guys!“
“Had a great meal. Service was awesome. Had the Clark St. Hot dog, Wabash Chili dog, 3" Italian beef, fries, and a double burger with cheese. All were delicious, our son especially liked the fries. A lot of Chicago sports posters and items added to the Chicago feel.“
“Been coming here for years for Happy Hour. The staff is always great and the food is incredible. Deon and Marcus always have really good wine recommendations and they have a decent Bourbon collection. Tyler the GM is on point with the food recommendations and pairings. Great experience every time.“
“My boyfriend and I came here for lunch for the first time and everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. It was fairly busy when we got here but we still received an immediate greeting and prompt service. Regardless of the crowd, the two servers/bartenders that were working were hustling and attending to each of their customers with a smile and positive attitude. For food, we ordered the French onion soup, the Reuben, buffalo wings, onion rings and fries. I can say that we were very impressed by the speed and the quality of each item. The Reuben paired with the French onion soup was absolutely amazing and the onion rings were the perfect ratio. The wings were tender with the perfect amount of crisp on the skin. We also ordered the tavern spritz and the strawberry martini which were beautifully made and topped our meal off perfectly. I highly recommend for food quality and service.“
“It almost hard to believe how high the quality of the food and service is here. The chicken sandwich is the best I've found anywhere, and the fried fish rivals what I'd normally pay $18 for. Sure, it costs $1 than other places but they don't prompt you for adding a tip to the payment. Plus they deliver the food to your table. Other restaurants should follow this business model.“
“Stop by because I pass this place a lot. The food is ok. The price is as high as 5guys. The burger was ight. It comes plain and they have a salad bar of toppings like a buffet. The onion rings were mostly made from the thought first layer of the onion. Most was too tough to eat. Just ate dough.“
“The donuts, donut holes, croissants (made in-house), and breakfast sandwich changed my life. From CA to KY these are the best donuts of my life. They would be the dessert of my Last Meal. Maybe the whole thing. Very reasonably priced. Family owned & the staff are so pleasant and helpful. If you're looking for low quality, expensive, pretentious donuts- this is not the place for you. If you want the best donuts in town, made with love, get here early. They run out for a reason- they're the only reason I get out of bed early. Thank you Clifton Donuts!!“
“I love going in this place for carryout! They are going at a really fast pace and they are so friendly! I'm a vegetarian and I love their veggie sandwich with cheese. I get it my way with cheese, lettuce, tomato, raw onion, ketchup and Mayo. It is delicious!! My daughter gets it with no tomato or ketchup and adds barbecue sauce and she loves it. Their fries are so good too. And if you don't like all the salt (which my daughter doesn't) you can order it without salt and they will bag it by itself. Very accommodating. Also they always dump an extra tray of fries in the bag, one large order easily feeds two! Love this place!!Vegetarian options: They have veggie sandwiches with or without cheese to accommodate both vegans and vegetarians. I always get mine with cheese and you can tell them what you want on it even if it's different than what is on the menu. They will make it however you want it. Don't forget the fries though, they're delicious!!“
“Stopped by for dinner and drinks with friends. Nice place with a distinct, neighborhood feel. Definitely more “bar” than “brewery,” but that’s okay! Had a little trouble finding parking, but wasn’t too bad.We each had something different from the menu, and were each really impressed. I tired the El Guapo burger: Phenomenal! Spicy, spicy, spicy but really full of flavor. Washed it down with the Bourbon Barrel Ale (after all, this is Kentucky, right?): So so good! Thanks for a great meal, guys!“
“The burger was absolutely delicious and the girl standing out there taking orders was very nice and so helpful answering my questions since it was my first time stopping there. Service was fast and very friendly.Dietary restrictions: I did notice that they have gluten free listed.“
“About 6 of us ladies "of a certain age" meet on Fridays at Bill Bond's DQ on Shelbyville Rd. We are all EHS grads - 1969. We enjoy catching up with each other most Fridays at 9:30 am. Stop in and say hi to the "Coffee Girls"!“
“Went there for my first time today with my husband. He wanted wings and i wanted a burger lol...but we didnt want to go to a chain restaurant so we decided to give this place a shot. EVERYTHING WAS GREAT. Service, food, atmosphere, prices!!! We will be back again alot sooner than later!“
“Came in here a couple times. Place is pretty new. I’m service industry myself so I pay attention to details when I go out. First thing I noticed is that it is very clean. Looked behind the bar and everything is spotless and polished. Food? Had the Philly cheesesteak a couple months back and it was phenomenal. Boyfriend had one of the burgers and said it was really good as well. Drinks? Pretty standard menu for a neighborhood bar, we just had wine and beer. Service? Had the same bartender both time, Ferrell(I think) and he was attentive, prompt and friendly. Other neat things? Patio. There is nothing else close enough with a patio around so that’s nice. Overall- it’s a very pleasant place and I would love to see more people notice it. I think it has potential to be a cool local hangout for this area“
“Many thanks to Soupy's who Catered our Christmas Dinner today at our Church. Everything was Hot, Fresh, and DELICIOUS! We had the Potato Soup, the Beef Veggie Soup and the Chili. Our Sandwich choices were Ham and Turkey with plenty of toppings and 2 different kinds of cheese. I HIGHLY Recommend Soupy's for your Catering Needs!“
“My wife and I have found a new favorite place to eat. The menu is full of different things to try. We have dined in twice, so far, and both times, the food was excellent. My wife loves the lettuce wrap burger. It fits her needs with what she can eat. The California style double combo is my go-to burger. The staff is pleasant to be around, and they seem to be happy with their work environment. We introduced my mother to Freddy's by taking her out to dinner there, and she has already made plans to go back. All in all, I believe we have found a great new restaurant to eat at. To all the people working at Freddy's, Keep up the hard work!Thank you“
“Came to Saints last night for a football game. As usual, they are a busy spot for game time and we had to wait for a seat. No problem- we grabbed a drink at the bar and went outside where we still had game visibility. Upon returning inside, we found a table. The server in our corner bounced around serving every single table around us as we sat for 30+ mins waiting. No "I'll be right with you", nothing. I made eye contact with her several times and she continued to avoid us. At one point, she even walked by and put her hand flat up beside her cheek almost to "block" her view of us as she walked by. Watching her serve other tables.. you could feel her attitude- rolling her eyes at people, huffing and puffing as she walked around. Busy, I get it. But don't be a server at a very busy restaurant if you aren't capable of still making it a positive experience for the customers. There was only two of us- not difficult. I finally got up and stood at the bar waiting for her to come out of the kitchen. After chasing her down, I asked if she was the server for our table. She just stared at me. So I said "No? Ok..." and just walked back with intentions of finding another server. She followed me to the table..pulled out her ordering tablet and stared at us. We politely (and awkwardly) ordered our entire meal and more drinks because we weren't sure if she would ever return. After we ordered, she literally just walked away. Not one word came out of her mouth the entire time. At this point, I asked another server to send a manager over. Jamie came by and completely changed the tune. She showed concern, listened, and sincerely apologized. Only thanks to Jamie, the remainder of our visit was wonderful. She took care of us from all angles- although she shouldn't have to do take one of her servers tables when she is busy managing her own tasks. Food was excellent and we will be returning but I can't say I'd be happy if I saw the same server in our section. It was extremely unpleasant until Jamie took ever. Thank you Jamie!“
“First time here (passing thru town) and the experience was…weird. I walked in and saw a sign directing me to order at a kiosk, which seemed like a great idea since I was unfamiliar with the menu and didn’t want to waste anyone’s time asking them to tell me what was on the various items, especially since other customers had walked in right behind me. So I started selecting and swiping, putting together a combo that sounded good, but halfway through I started hearing this voice repeating “Sir, I can take your order, sir, sir…” Since I was busy and people were behind me, I ignored it, thinking the person was addressing another customer. I finished and paid, and finally looked up and saw the staff member staring at me. She said “I can take your order”, and I apologized for ignoring her while…placing my order. She seemed confused that I had managed to use the kiosk successfully but checked the ticket it printed for the kitchen, and walked off. I had to ask for my drink cup. While I waited for the food being made to order, I visited the restroom, which was a disaster. The soap dispenser had been ripped from the wall, and was lying under the sink with several paper towels. The rest of the paper towels were in a loose roll sitting on top of the dispenser.I went out to wait for my food, responded to some texts, read through my news feed, and eventually, once a few people who had come in after me picked up their food, I asked the guy on the grill (the only other employee I saw) if he knew anything about my order. He looked concerned, and started looking at the tickets in front of him. Nothing matched my order. Then he saw a bag off to the side that had been sitting a while, apologized as he unwrapped the burger, determined that it was mine, and then apologized even more sincerely as he handed it and my Cajun fries (fresh, fortunately) to me while glaring at the idle “I can take your order” person. The burger was good, and the home run sauce has a nice kick to it. The flavor on the Cajun fries was perfect. They had Big Red in the fountain, which is unusual. The rest of the public area was clean enough.I’ll probably go back to a different location next time I’m in the area and give them another try.“
“Do I want to gatekeep this place, yes. But, I’m gonna be a better person than that. Lemme tell y’all, THE MAC N CHEESE. That alone would make this place a home run. I would sell my first born for the recipe, it’s a religious experience. The staff is always super sweet, and unusually attractive. Like, lil baddies everywhere. This has become a new favorite spot for me and my girlfriends, join the revolution, you won’t regret it.“
“I love this place. The food is amazing, nothing fancy but it is stupendous. The service is always top notch, they go above and beyond for their customers. It is a neighborhood bar so that ambiance may put some off but all walks of life are welcome and treated well here.“
“A local watering hole. A staple. Bambi is a legend and you can't say you've been to the Highlands unless you've been to Bambi for a drink or burger or better yet the "Bambi Walk". Always good service and a fun crowd! Do yourself a favor and make a trip, and liven up any afternoon or evening!“
“My husband and I went on a low key, pre-birthday, date for him. The food was good. And the service was excellent as well as the drinks. Our server Cassidy was very nice and attentive, and not in our face too much.(perfectly balanced timing) She recommended the pretzel bites. She wasn’t wrong; they were good. :)“
“It’s a bit pricey, however look at the amount of fries for the large order. The burgers were delicious, fresh and toppings free! The service was excellent and Austin made our night! Keep him on the frontline!! We dined in, the sound was not bad, we could carry our convo in normal voice mode and there were many seated at tables and a line at the register. The employees handled the flow perfectly and kept the restaurant clean! Highly recommended Five Guys Middletown location no matter the occasion.“
“Ordered through Uber Eats and initially thought it was going to be a hassle because I was charged too much. That issue got sorted out through Uber, but Hubert and Joe, at the Poplar location worked my order and it got to me fresh and delicious. I'll definitely patronize in the future.“
“Always seen this place and had never been in, wish i had come before. We had breakfast there today. Forgot to take some pictures of what we all chose. Food was amazing for a great price. A small diner. Will take some photos next time. Will definitely be going back for lunch items. I was told they do Guatemalan and Mexican cuisine on some nights, I think I have that right. But absolutely loved it.“
“This is the second time I've been here and everything is great. The food is great, the employees are awesome and take great care of their customers and the atmosphere is just like home! I recommend this place if your looking for a burger any way you want it. In my opinion it's the best burger place I've been to. The rueben burger is fantastic.“
“A perfect little hole in the wall bar tucked away where you have to know to be able to get to it. They've got three pool tables, dart boards, Golden Tee and video bowling. Also a nice Touch Tunes setup. The bar staff is super friendly and will remember you. The food is hot and salty. The beer is cold. They have tons of Christmas decorations in December making it feel like a comfy spot to hang all night long.“
“My boyfriend & I met a couple of friends to have a drink. We ordered an appetizer & entree. The food was good as always. The server was preoccupied with his phone. Had to get his attention for a go box. But overall I love the food and the drink was great. I'll definitely will go back.Kid-friendliness: The atmosphere is family oriented. There isn't no vulger or offensive behavior tolerated. People seem to be familiar with one another & friendly.“
“Food was fresh and cooked in front. Got my food in 10 mins. Shawarma rice was cooked perfectly but the meat tasted a little flat. I asked for hot sauce but it was a sour sauce which made the entire dish sour. The amount was good. Service was satisfactory. I will give it another try without hot sauce next time. They have outdoor seating options.Parking: You can park next to the food truck.“
“The workers were very nice and the restaurant was nice and clean. Seems like a very nice place to bring your family if you want a good steak burger. The style of burgers and fries put me in mind of steak and shake. They have shoe string fries too. The ambiance is kinda like Culver's. So, if you like Culver's, you'll definitely like this place.“
“Took the family to Goodbounce to have some fun on Mother's Day. The staff was amazing, she said the Bloody Mary was perfect and I played my first game of pickleball ever. The place is beautiful and the courts were perfect. Excited to come back! Highly recommend.“
“Culver's frozen custard at 11801 Interchange Dr in Louisville, KY, offered a delightful treat during my road trip. As a self-proclaimed frozen custard snob with a penchant for Planters chocolate in WNY, I was pleasantly surprised by Culver's hand-scooped version. While it lacked the familiar soft serve texture, the custard was undeniably rich and sweet with excellent flavor. However, Planters still reigns as my gold standard in the world of frozen custard. Nevertheless, Culver's provided a satisfying and enjoyable experience on my journey.“
“Excellent service, great food, nice portions and clean inside and out. Friendly staff and the manager Jorge makes sure everyone is happy! Plus the dining room stays open until midnight every night!! Great milkshakes too! Love it here! ???????“
“So I went in here and I got a hamburger that I'm used to having I'd ordered it online. I have to say it's not bad but it's not great. It just tastes so so. The time of day I was in here it was really slow and really dead. So speaking to the atmosphere I couldn't do so with authority. The service was excellent. They had these little things on the table now where you can check out. I don't know how long they've had those since I've never been in there, but it was a nice touch to be able to just check out and get up and leave without having to worry about flagging down your white person“
“Great tasting and famous Frisch's Big Boy Sandwiches. Delicious tasting onion rings and french fries. Legendary, nostalgic and cozy eat in dining area. Great desserts too! Awesome Seafood buffet on Friday nights during Lenten religious season.“
“I went to Burger Girl for my mother, the Lady that took my order was so uninviting. I almost wanted to leave, I gave her my order and she was a driest waitress I've ever had to deal with. So , as I was sitting waiting on my mothers food , I decided to order something else. Another lady was at the counter that was so inviting and so polite and so nice. I told her about the other worker and she apologized. But she shouldn't have to apologize for someone else. Food was great . But the african american lady was not inviting and should not be working at a counter.“
“Since Steak 'n Shake reopened without servers and real plates, it has actually gotten better. Kiosks are large and easy to use, food comes out in baskets and you can get your own refills without having to wait for someone to get it for you. Frisco Melt is still as tasty as ever and combo comes in a tiny bit cheaper than competitors. I would highly recommend!“
“Best Wendy’s I’ve ever been to.I just go through the drive-through, but for some reason, Im always impressed with the speed is service, how fresh—and “cooked just right”— the food is.I’ve never been compelled to leave a review at a fast food joint, but the owner and staff here deserve some kudos.“
“I drive past this place everyday, decided to try it out today. I ordered Salisbury steak and mashed potatoes and green beans. My son ordered chicken tenders and fries. Everything was delicious, right down to the sweet tea!!! If I could go back for seconds I sure would!!! I'll definitely become a regular customer!!! Call ahead and pick up your order in 10 minutes, great for lunch breaks!!!“
“I love their Oriental Chicken Salad and it's my MUST HAVE. Always fresh and crispy. Their Perfect Margaritas have me spoiled. My favorite! Our server was so patient and attentive, even while we waited for friends, who were stuck in traffic, to join us. She was sweet and friendly. We will be back...again and again!“
