“We stopped to eat at the kitchen table, we loved the brisket pesto pizza, ordered another pizza but didn't come out as wanted but the waitress was very sweet and took care of it. We also got the duck poppers, definitely different then an original popper. The mint julep was very minty but I think the drink consisted more ice then the actual drink. The strawberry rubarb mule was definitely sweet but tasted more ginger beer than rubarb. Overall, it was a cute restaurant and place to drink!“

“Our favorite Thai in Louisville, this family run restaurant in front of the Glenmary community has many great menu options to choose from. My favorite entrees are Jalapeno Beef, Drunken Noodle Beef, and Sweet snd Sour Chicken. My wife loves both the chicken and vegetarian versions of Pad Thai. Several nice curry options are also offerred. The chicken satay, pork dumplings and spring rolls are all great appetizers. Not on the menu but also available are fresh "summer rolls": lettuce, shrimp, pork and rice noodles wrapped in rice paper. And when I am especially hungry, spicy sour shrimp soup as a starter is also delicious. Their black rice pudding dessert is fantastic as well! Best Thai food in Louisville at any price, but the prices here are a great value in these difficult times!“

“A few weeks ago I dined in at Sake Blue with my two children, I had paid with cash and I guess in doing so I had dropped about a thousand dollars out of my purse. Being distracted by my children I didn't even notice this at all..I called the restaurant the next day frantic asking if anyone had seen a wad of cash just laying in the booth or on the floor...and amazingly the GM called me back to tell me that they have seen the money and that they already locked it away in the safe incase someone came back to claim it. I couldn't believe the honesty and integrity of the staff in this restaurant..I have been dining at Sake Blue for about 10 years now and have always been impressed by their food and service but just recently I moved across the street so I have been going more frequently. As a server myself I work really really hard for my money..and on Sundays I like to treat my children by going out to eat..and WOW I just want to say thank you, thank you, thank you...they did not have to return the cash, heck I don't know if any other restaurant would have done the same..This place doesn't only have amazing food, an amazing staff and welcoming and relaxing atmosphere but they genuinely care about the well being of their customers..I mean the GM called me family..I will never stop coming to Sake Blue they have a customer for life and also it's THE best sushi restaurant in town. 😊❤❤❤“

“This place is truly amazing!!! If I could rate the food 20 out of 10, I would. I came here a couple of years ago and I agree with some of the other reviews on here that it needed some work, but they have taken all of that criticism and made the best of it because when I tell you everything I have ordered (both on Friday and today, Sunday, because the food was THAT good) was perfection! I got the chicken street tacos (shown in the picture) with both corn (Friday) and flour tortillas (today) and both were 120% in my book. The chicken was seasoned and cooked to perfection! My meal also came with rice and beans and when I say it was one of the best Mexican rice and refried beans I have ever tasted, I mean it. I was very critical on my food because I personally was not a fan of the rice or the chicken the last time I came here over a year ago. My husband got the ground beef chimichangas (didn’t get a picture) and the beef was also seasoned and cooked to perfection! We are very picky eaters and asked for the queso on the side, red enchilada sauce on the side and the substitution of flour instead of corn tortillas, but they didn’t forget any of our special requests and everything was in the bag on Friday and also today, which in my eyes is worth an extra star since I didn’t have to go back in or drive back up to the store to get what they forgot.

(He gets well done across the street and while well done is not burnt) I ordered a sirloin that was mediocre. ( to be honest it was year before last) The steamed veggies were delicious as was the free bread which shockingly is still free. The quality of food most places is just not the best anymore.“

“Happy Dragon is the best Chinese food I have found in Louisville. I have to travel around the city often for work, and I'm always excited when my work brings me to Taylorsville Road, since I know it means I'll get to have some great food. Try out the Bourbon chicken, bamboo chicken, or ask for an extra spicy combo lo mein, you won't regret it. The only bad thing about this restaurant is it makes all the places near my side of town taste so bad in comparison.
