“We always try to go here when we are in New Orleans. Last weekend we took my niece for her first visit and she left her purse that was filled with all of her makeup. She was so upset because we are 5 hours away and she was starting school this week. I called the next morning and they located the bag and overnighted it to us! What a blessing! That is great customer service.“

“The coffee and service were great! However, I was under the impression that this was a dog-friendly place. I came in holding my 11 lb Shih Tzu/Poodle mix and wasn’t acknowledged regarding my dog, which was fine — until another customer came in with their dog. The staff immediately offered them complimentary dog treats from the counter, but nothing was mentioned or offered to me.

The same staff member who served me even looked over after giving the other dog a treat, but didn’t say anything to me, which left me a little confused. I didn’t want to make it awkward by asking, but I’d love to know if there was a reason for that.

Overall, I really enjoyed the coffee and the service otherwise, but that small moment made me feel a bit left out. I’ll give this a 4-star rating for now, just because it could make other dog owners feel the same way. Maybe I just misunderstood how dog-friendly this place is!“

“I was in Tremé for four days, and I ate and drank coffee at Fatmas each and every single one of those days. The coffee was amazing. The food was delicious and their pastries were just beautiful. I loved the atmosphere and the outside seating. There’s even a couple of open windows where you can just stand and look out and feel the breeze while you’re waiting for your food. I wish that I lived closer so that I could go there every day.“

“I'm recommending the gazebo because I've always loved going here and never had any issues with the food, until yesterday. We waited on two drinks for 25 minutes and two meals for 45 minutes. The food was inedible, both poboys were doused in salt and the chicken wasn't cooked properly. I informed the server that it wasn't cooked and I couldn't eat it and she couldn't have cared less. We paid $70 for food that was left on the plate. Extremely disappointed and hoping it was just a bad day.“

Now on my 2nd visit, Jasmine not only remembered me but asked where was my husband. She not only remembered us but what we ate. As I dined alone, she went out of her way to make me feel comfortable! And then as I placed a take-out order for my husband, she had suggestions due to his salt restrictions in his diet. What a memory! “This café is small, but charming. The menu is simple, but appetizing. The biscuits are large and dense. The croissants are soft and flaky. The frozen peach Bellini was delightful after a very long day of walking. Overall it was a wonderful lunch experience, and I will definitely return. (The bathroom was the cleanest bathroom I encountered on my entire trip.)“

“This place is great! Friendly staff, really great coffee, and tasty food. It’s also pretty cute on the inside. I recommend getting one of their specialty coffees. The only reason I’m giving four stars instead of five is because it’s so new it feels a little like they’re still figuring out who they are. I don’t think that’s a bad thing and it just needs some time to grow into the space. The walls are a little sparse but I’m that will change with time. I’m also sure this place will continue to improve!“
