“We went to Da Parish Snack & Snowballs for opening day and the buy get one free special. Service was quick, polite, and friendly. I love snowballs and have always gone to the one closer to my house that I've gone to since I was a child but after our visit today, we will drive a little further to come here! The chocolate was delicious and the cheesecake flavor was amazing! I was also surprised at how generous the sizes are, we bought mediums and they were quite big. They were also very generous with the syrup which we loved since dry snowballs aren't as good. My kids love that they also have snack food and candy. Having a baby, it's also convenient that they have a drive thru! We will def. be back!“

“Classic home cooking in the parish...but this place is hard to beat!! I ordered the Friday special--shrimp pasta with 2 big catfish filets, corn and garlic bread. That meal was fire!!! And plenty enough to share! The wife had a cup of gumbo(it was more like a bowl!) that was FULL of chicken and sausage!! The employees were super friendly and the prices were very fair. Don't sleep on this place.“

“I like love it because of its simplicity, awesome food, and service. The waiting staff don't bother, you get your food almost immediately (fresh and fast) and if you choose to eat their the booths are very secluded so you and a friend, co worker, date etc can eat undisturbed (my favorite part). Highly recommend“

“Ordered 30 wings here for my graduation party. Ordered two days in advance and initially on the phone, was told that I could just come in and order it and wait for it but I told them that I have many things to pick up under a time crunch so placing it ahead of time would be much more convenient for me. Went in there and paid for my food and waited about 5 minutes which wasn’t bad at all. The guests at my party said that the wings were great. Customer service is ok“

“The staff at Lula were wonderful! Went to look at the accommodations for a rehearsal dinner. The staff showed us the Barrel Room and explained the setup for the amount of guest expected. They are very accommodating for your needs. Lunch was delicious! Shrimp and grits and Fried pickled mirlitons with a poblano dipping sauce were a hit. Our server, Jalen was the best! Definitely a place to visit in NOLA.“

What we assume ro be the managers (a man and lady) were having a verbal altercation on the phone... screaming profusely, slinging racial slurs, cursing and would not stop. This went on for at least 20 minutes. Seriously, this could not have been taken to another area--like outside? ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING AND EMBARRASSING behavior coming from those 2 "adults" We will NEVER eat there again...plus it was sub-par anyway. All we wanted was a peaceful meal after having tragic news. “My husband and I went on Friday night for dinner. Could not wait to try the new menu and it was simply awesome. To start with, our sever team was Isaac and Cheyanne and they were great. We never waited for anything. The Hot Crab Claws and Foie Gras Torte for appetizers were divine. I ordered the Duck Cassoulet and my husband had the visiting fish, Sea Bass over Yakamein. While the fish was excellent, the Duck ruled the table. Thanks to the Servers and Kitchen for a wonderful meal. We'll be back.“

“Great food, great service and a friendly staff. We had marked Basin Seafood on Google maps because it looked and sounded good, and it certainly was.

We had Blue Crab Beignets (wonderful), Crawfish Queso (very good but could use more crawfish) and a couple drinks.

We went for a few items on the Happy Hour menu since we had a dinner planned elsewhere later. If we had more days in town, it would be great to have dinner here.“

“This place really left a lasting impression. From the hostess, our server, the bathrooms, food, price point, time we spent. Everything was on point. We had oysters, gumbo, bisque, redfish, and house salad. Everything was divine!!! Keep up the good work! Also loved that it was so very clean.“

“My wife and I chose Seawitch for our first anniversary dinner. We made a reservation for 6 PM and arrived on-time and were promptly seated. Out server was a very nice gentleman and answered all of our questions regarding food and drink. My wife went with the Prosecco and oysters to start. I chose a gumbo and Woodford Reserve. The oysters were perfectly chilled and plump. My gumbo had a perfect dark roux color and was perfectly flavored. My wife then ordered the Redfish entree while I went with the scallops. The Redfish was so delicious. My wife and I loved it. The scallops were perfectly cooked with a lovely sear outside and a perfect cook inside. They were massive scallops so we shared. Too full for desert but happily replete, we wrapped up the evening and now have a lovely memory of our first anniversary and will always come back to Seawitch.

The restaurant is located right on St. Charles so you can get there easily by Uber, car, or trolly. The building is very well kept and we had a great seat on the upstairs balcony overlooking the avenue. We really couldn't have asked for more. The service is top notch and my wife and I will always sing the establishment's praises.

On this trip, a bartender with pig tails and a cap made my time so special by telling me the back story on the gin and the oysters. Fun, smiley, knowledgeable, and just welcoming.
