My father is ill and can only have clear liquids and they were kind enough to let me buy plain pho broth even though it wasn’t on the menu. “Solid casual spot for banh mi. My mom likes to stop by here to grab a couple when we're in the area. Service is friendly and there's some desserts available to buy. Doesn't take too long for the order to be ready. Limited parking spots but there isn't usually a big line or anything so it should be fine. Cute little gem when you're craving some banh mi and don't want to deal with crowds“

They stay open late and have wonderful sandwiches in the back which you order at the register. I had the shrimp po-boy and it was perfect. When it came time to pay, we left an 18% tip, which is a standard and fair amount. However, the waitress confronted us and said the minimum tip should be 20%, making us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. Tipping should always be optional and based on the customer’s experience—not something to be enforced or demanded.

It’s unfortunate because the food was enjoyable, but this interaction left a negative impression and overshadowed the overall experience. I hope management addresses this, as no customer should feel pressured or insulted when paying their bill.“

“This is the best pho in louisiana. Broth is perfect flavor, look at that color! They also give a lot of meat. Rice dishes are also good, I like the porkchop. Also the hidden gems are the salt and pepper calamari, salt and pepper chicken wings, and salt and pepper shrimp. The flavor for these dishes are called rang muoi in vietnamese. Service is nice and straight to the point, that’s how you know the food is good“
