“I want to make some suggestions rather than saying I do or don’t recommend this place. I’m familiar with Pepper’s, and I like to support hard-working chefs, especially when they use local farms and vendors. The overall concept of self-service is fine, but I preferred the table service of the old restaurant. It felt a little more closed in, and I also don’t like the paper plates, cups, and plastic utensils. Real utensils were available, though. The salad choices looked really healthy and colorful, and the menu was certainly varied enough. I saw a frittata being served and it was the size of a half piece of pie, though it looked good. My friends and I opted for soup and grilled cheese sandwiches, thinking they would be more like upscale comfort food. Two of us had the bacon-tomato version, the other had the mushroom. Since they were pre-made, then popped in a convection oven, they were more like melted cheese on dry, light toast, versus the buttery, golden goodness that makes a grilled cheese what its name implies. The portion was small and the fillings meager. If the idea was to make it a healthier grilled cheese, even a drizzle of olive oil might help. The soup was luke-warm, but tasty enough. We shared a dessert bar, which was delicious, with black coffee, which didn’t taste fresh like it had ben sitting a while. Be forewarned that if you pay by credit card, an automatic 15 percent tip is added, though you have the option to change it up or down, if you happen to notice it. There wasn’t much service involved, and you clear your own table. My portion alone, which included the sandwich with chips, a cup of soup, dessert bar, and coffee, plus added tip came to just under twenty dollars. I would give it another shot, but there is room for improvement. We all agreed that the dining experience was at a grade of about C+. Wishing you success in the future... Hope this helps.“

“I always want to try all of Armsby's dishes because they make meals based on what's in season. They have a lot of staples on their menu like the Smash Burger that I absolutely love. I crave the burger and fries here and it's hard to deviate. The drinks are always unique, too. If I just want to have a nice drink after a long week or stop in before some Worcester type event, I would choose Armsby over anything. The staff are always so friendly, too! It's such a Worcester institution and a must-try!“

Last time I came to a Ground Round Location was close to two decades ago when many locations had shut down. I had the claim chowder, Steak Tips & Babyback Ribs combo with Onion rings & Mashed potatoes mixed with redskins. Absolutely phenomenal. Next time I’m either getting a NY sirloin Steak, Burger, a sizzling Southwest Nacho salad in a tortilla bowl, Chicken Parmigiana, for appetizer either Philly Steak & Cheese egg roll, Mozzarella Moons, Calmari, Wings loaded skins, or Pot O, Gold. The Nachos make sure you have at least 2-4 people with you cause it’s alot“

“Absolutely the best N. Y. Sirloin I have ever tasted. It was thick, tender and favorable, served with a chicken-of-the-woods reduction that was perfectly paired with the steak. Reservations are recommended and the place was full within the first hour of operation. It can be a little noisy, but that's to be expected for an restaurant that is as popular as Romaine's. Service was adequate and attentive for the Saturday night crowd“

“We were in search of an upscale pub and chose The Horseshoe Pub won out over our second choice (O'Connors), mainly because it featured 80 beer taps... EIGHTY! \nWe opened our meal, of course, with pints (a wheaty Weis beir for me to followed by a mundane but always tasty Guiness). The for of us shared apps of rueben egg rolls and German pretzels. Two of us ordered the Shepard pie which was tasty but noticably short of the requisite vegetables. One of us enjoyed a very well prepared plate of short ribs over mashed potatoes and fresh steamed veggies. Dark gravy to taste. Rave review for the fall-off -the-bone short ribs. Passed on dessert. \nA very pleasant experience with great service, ample parking, a wide wide variety of food, clean rooms and tables with plenty of space at each and a killer bar separate from the dining spaces. Reasonable value for fare on offer. \nOne caveat with of mention. Three of the four of us ate the rueben egg rolls and had upset stomachs afterwards. They were delicious but disagreed with our normally caste iron tummies. Don't know if it was the egg rolls or the sauce that they came with but they were the only dish we three shared in common. \nThis restaurant worth a visit and especially appropriate for groups of friends looking for a nice night out. \nNot specifically an Irish pub but Slante' anyway!“

My sister ordered the same as last time and I ordered a slightly dirty Tito’s martini with a special request for bleu cheese stuffed olives. They were perfection! We both ordered the ahi tuna with avocado and jasmine rice. Omg it was to die for. I can’t wait to go back and order it again. “Ted's burgers is by far the best burger that I have ever had, the burger are full of flavors & it melts in my mouth every time I have the burgers, I feel like i am in heaven whenever I eat the burgers here at teds & the service is outstanding here & I wish every restaurant had the service at teds has, the atmosphere feels absolutely warm & welcoming every time l go into the restaurant, the employees are very kind, warm & welcoming and Ive had phenomenal experiences wether l've sat down or gotten takeout! “I found myself in Worcester yesterday and searched for vegan food online and found Belmont Vegetarian among others listed. After seeing several pictures of dishes I decided to go! And I’m glad I did! Belmont Vegetarian (where everything is vegan) was delicious and in heaping portions. There’s a smaller (but still big) container for only $17 and change and a giant container (which I obviously got) for $19 and change. I got BBQ, mac n cheese, rice , beans, and chickpeas, and some sweet n sour steak. They also make their own delicious juice with sea moss. I got watermelon. The place is set up for takeout mostly with only 2 dining tables.Definitely worth the drive from NH!“

But for anyone unfamiliar, think of it as a Chili’s with a bit more dining space beyond the bar or an Outback without the grilled steaks.

I was curious about what sets 99 apart from similar chains like Applebee’s, and the answer I got was simple: “They think they’re better and charge more.” While neither is glaringly obvious, the menu does offer a few standout dishes, like the Shepherd’s Pie - a refreshing option compared to the usual burgers and fried food lineup.

“I went to the restaurant today! I haven’t been for a very long time. And have not had the pleasure to try after the new owners. Omg!!! I have NEVER had fresher fish in my life!! I got the 2 Way Combo with fried clams and haddock. It was Outstanding!! Usually with fried food at other places I take two bites and I’m done….Nope not today!! The Food, the Service and the atmosphere was PERFECT!! I mean when the owner says can I get you an extra tartar sauce for the table and he brings the whole bottle??
