The rib dinner is my favorite, I’ve had it three weeks in a row. ITS THAT GOOD! Chef Dan has quite the imagination to excite the customers with a changing menu for the seasons.“

“After living in Los Angeles and San Francisco, the Concord Area (our new home) food scene was a shock. Then we found 80 Thoreau. It is a genuinely all in experience, big city quality without the drive. The creativity, the locally sourced ingredients, the way flavors get combined... YUM! Chef Gavin and his crew are doing incredible work and have such fun energy! It is also the only restaurant where my friend with a long list of allergies can eat well. Most places give her a menu back with everything crossed off. Here they build her something new every time, that is true mastery and deep care you can rarely find. A true gem.“

“I have lived in the Boston-esque area for twelve years and have eaten so many good meals, but the fish tacos here are the only meal I needed to have before my upcoming move out west(ern MA). Cocktails are fun and creative, service is 13/10, the XL portions of fries that require to-go boxes are the only fries I’ve ever found to reheat well, and if you’re lucky, Steve will be tending bar. I love going at the slightly quieter times but I’ll never gatekeep the euphoria experienced by a meal here. Bonus perks: Max & Chelsea have the best senses of humor, the murals on the patio are always amazing, the beer and wine selection are vast (also the mocktails!), and the decor always feels like your favorite “I Spy” book.“

“A GREAT Hot Dog and a cool and tasty Italian Ice. Fresh, soft buns for the dogs with a huge assortment of fixings. I selected a half and half Ice of Strawberry and Watermelon. The strawberry was refreshing and delicious but was NOT sickly sweet. The Watermelon was wonderful and did not have that chemical taste that so many watermelon-flavored products have. It was very natural tasting and was really awesome with the strawberry (I recommend it). A GREAT PLACE TO TAKE THE KIDS, or for a first teenage date! Also, a perfect place for day workers in Sudbury to get quick and delicious lunch.“

“Stopped by today for a late breakfast. Truly amazing!! Chef Jerry He did an outstanding job constructing a culinary masterpiece of my favorite breakfast Eggs Benedict. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the hollandaise sauce was creamy and one of the best I've had!! The maple ham stacked on top of a really nicely buttered bread was incredible!! Definitely worth the trip and we will be back again!!“

“Such a beautiful space. Creative, cozy lighting in the high ceiling dining room (or enjoy fairy lights and climbing flowers all around outside on the patio). The menu is simple but with something for everyone. Dishes came promptly and were perfectly cooked and looked AMAZING as they arrived. The servers were knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. “I had a great conversation with the new owner and what his plans are for this place. Great food and a great place to go for breakfast. I know his plans are to do fresh made pasta and a few other great ideas. He is also revamping the area to more modern looks. It is going to look fantastic. Most of the foods he gets are local sourced. Meaning some are from Vermont. Hey the states here are so close that it does not matter too much. Regardless I would eat here again.“

“Went to the Bedford location. Got off to a rocky start. The waitress didn't notice us so I got up and reminded her we were here. She was very apologetic. The restaurant was also over air conditioned, so we asked her to turn it down and she got that done. We both ordered the summer burrito bowl and enjoyed it. My husband also ordered the onion soup that he liked. Overall, the restaurant is bright and I think they are trying very hard to make their patrons happy.“

Family atmosphere with historic decor. Food was delicious and hot, the way it should be. All in all a really pleasant dining experience. “I recently stayed here for a work conference. The hotel rooms were spacious, cozy and modern. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The lobby bar and restaurant was beautiful and the food was very good. Meeting spaces were very nice.“
