“What can we say… There were 14 of us over from Scotland ( Ayrshire Area) for the World Cup. We were well looked after, Food excellent, Staff amazing. We can't recommend this cafe enough. It made the start to our day all the better for coming here for breakfast….everyday during our trip. A Special thanks to (the Red head girl) sorry for got your name…..you truly are a star. Also pass our sincere appreciation to Mo for buying our breakfast on our last day. If this town represents the USA you should all be very proud, well absolutely loved staying in Manchester by the sea.

“Probably the only place in the area that actually uses a fresh fried egg! I’ve tried every single other coffee shop in Salem and Crave remains my favorite by a longshot. They use actually quality ingredients (not a microwave) and compared to other coffee shops, are actually quite reasonable for the area. Service is always friendly too :)“

My family and I found this place last year on our way home from our vacation in Rockport and we have not stopped thinking about it since! We finally were able to come back this year and it is just as good (if not better) then I remembered it being. The homemade blueberry muffins are a must but you really can’t go wrong with anything on there menu! The outdoor sitting has the perfect amount of shade and we love watching all the cars go by while eating our food. I can’t wait for our next vacation to Rockport so we can go here again!“

Yes, the coffee is excellent and the food is very good, but it's the warmth and hospitality of the owner, Bud, that has impressed us most. We have lived and travelled in many places around the world but rarely have we experienced an owner with such a wonderful attitude and such a welcome. They have so many different flavors to choose from and you can customize any drink however you like (even if it's not on the menu). Also, the breakfast sandwiches... wow. “I relished the excellent temporary exhibit,"Saints,Sinners,Lovers,and Fools which featured stellar paintings by Netherlandish and Flemish Masters.There was splendid paintings by Pieter Coecke Van Aelst,Hans Memling and Workshop,Frans Snyders,Peter Paul Rubens,Jacob Jordaens,Anton Gheringh,and Jan Wildens.My favorites were Jan Wildens'"Panorama of Antwerp",Peter Paul Rubens'"Sailor and Woman Embracing",and Anton Gheringh's"Interior of Jesuit Church".This exhibit end May 4 2025“

“We recently hired Googans to cater for a celebration of life. We kept it simple with a cheese and veggie platter, sandwiches and sweets- finger food. Everything was absolutely delicious! People were raving about how good the sandwiches and desserts were. I absolutely recommend for catering and also to stop in their shop for breakfast and/or lunch.
