“A hidden gem that opened last year and now our weekly go-to for Japanese - sashimi, sushi, ramen and poke bowls. The staff is very friendly and the owner, Anna, makes you feel so at home. The sashimi/sushi are fresh, delicious and prepared beautifully. The cocktails are creative and well made - mai tais, pistachio martinis, you name it. The kids (and adults) enjoy various fruit teas/slushees with optional boba. They also offer Chinese and Thai food on the menu. Staples like beef teriyaki sticks, sichuan fried rice or tangerine beef are must haves and often added to our meals with lots of leftovers to go home with. Highly recommend Wasabi Asian Bistro&Bar to anyone looking for great Asian food.“

“I come here every couple months when visiting, and they know how to do chinese takeout right. Their crab rangoons are some of the best (even better than some of the thai restaurants I like), the chicken fingers are always crispy and hot, and the chow fun noodles are always great. I was surprised with the lower rating but I guess you just can't make everyone happy.“

“A rare find of semi-authentic northern Chinese cuisine in a non-descript mini strip mall on a “highway”.
IFor a suburban Chinese restaurant, this is a standout for sure.
The noodles (a specialty) are very well made with the right chew. The dumplings are tasty and juicy. Eggplant, a favorite veg, is well done without being too greasy. Some of the dishes lack the expected Maala, but that’s not surprising considering the palate they are catering to.

If you are in the metro west area, this is definitely deserves a visit.“

The wife is amazing hostess, outgoing and with a smile. Her children work there too, a real authentic family established. One of the very best Solid Crispy sesame chicken, very Little flour, less batter more meat!!! It’s healthier and you can taste the texture of flavors. It’s one if a kind, a signature dish most definitely worth trying.

Not greasy, not oily, not salty . The chicken wings have an amazing marinade glaze, the chicken lo mein is phenomenal all freshly prepared with love and attention. The standout dish is the FISH with black bean sauce!!!! Try it, the best kept secret in Norwood. I drive from Newton and honestly if this was closer I would go more often. But incredible value and quality despite the distance“

“Grandma and Grandpa here from NH visiting grandkids today. Grandpa suggests Chinese.. found these guys-- ordered for 2 adults, a 10 yo, 8 yo, 4 yo. Pickup avail in 15 mins. I was concerned over ordering enough. We had way more than enough for, and lot for the next day for a more than reasonable price. Everyone was happy... quality was more than good for Chinese. “We went there Saturday afternoon. I ordered my usual, Chicken Subgum Chow Mein and boneless spareribs. The waitress was very nice but limited in the English language. Therein was part of the problem. I did not get what I would consider my usual. It looked like Chop Suey . Not what I am used to. I sent it back and received pretty much the same thing on the second try. The boneless spare ribs were very fatty and not like the ribs I received on prior visits. Also the Duck Sauce seemed to be "watered down" with very little taste. All in all it wasn't a pleasant experience this time. Hopefully it will be better next time.“

They were a little costlier ($15) than I’ve seen at some other establishments, but you get 7 generously-sized portions, and again, they are teeming with flavor. One other thing to note is that the egg rolls have meat and shrimp in them. It doesn’t explicitly say so on the menu, so just watch for that if you’re a vegetarian or have a shellfish allergy!!“
