The combination of lamb roujiamo and liangpi was excellent. The liangpi has sesame paste and is a bit more sour than other liangpi I’ve tasted, but balances out with the cumin and saltiness of the lamb. The veggie buns seemed like they were commercially bought rather than homemade, and were filling.
Will definitely try other dishes next time.“

“This place is wonderful! We're moving up from Texas and tried this place the night we arrived. We felt so comforted by both the food and service. Sandra was our server and she was SUCH a joy to talk with along with the other young lady bringing out our food. We loved the food and service so much we returned the very next day and plan to continue to do so as it's already become a family favorite. We had the spicy beef noodle soup, seafood soup, and chicken cutlet noodle soup along with beef broccoli, chili wontons and soup dumplings. They were delicious but the soup dumplings were the highlight for me. We got the assorted ones and I ended up eating all 6 myself because they were just that good. The filling was actually quite large too. We ended up ordering a second order of the chili wontons and taking them to go.

“Solid authentic Chinese spot with good texture on their hand pulled noodles and dumpling wrappers. Food is cooked fresh to order and delicious. I’d come back again, their menu has a lot of variety and has so many things I want to try. Definitely gets busy with take out orders and a good number of tables occupied on weekends.“

“Okay, our new favorite Sichuan restaurant! We’ve been a couple of times now, and the flavors are amazing. All of the dishes that we’ve tried have been great - both in taste and value. Mapo tofu, spicy fish fillet, clay pot eggplant and pork to name a few. Highly recommended!“

“I was not impressed. Boneless spareribs were way too sticky and some were burnt. Like other restaurants now there prices have gone up a bit much. Also they are bit off Rte 9 and I think there are other places that are of better quality. I would only give this 3 stars.“

“Honestly my favourite Chinese restaurant in the area. I lived in Beijing for a while and this is one of the only restaurants outside of China town where I've had food that actually tasted authentic. They ruined me for the terrible American Chinese takeout food you find everywhere else.“

“I stopped by on a Sunday and a following Saturday, and had a nice visit both times. The atmosphere was cozy, with some nice jazzy music playing in the shop, and between my visits I tried three different drinks. A Strawberry Sparkle, an Oreo Milk Slush (my favorite of the three), and a Taro Milk Tea w/ Mango Popping Bubbles. I also had a Chicken Katsu Noodles dish, and a Oreo Towel Cake Roll to eat, and everything was good and tasty.

As for what to expect inside, the tea shop has a two kiosks you can order from, or you can go up to the counter to place your order instead if you like. There is a good amount of seating available in the main area, and a side-hall with some additional seating and the restroom at the end. If you choose dine-in they'll bring out your food and drinks to you in nice glasses and bowls on a tray, and if you want take-out they've got the usual bubble tea cups and containers you'd expect for things like the drinks and food so you can easily take things to go.

“I have to say, PuPu has come a long way. For a few years the quality went way down. I would just go to Tahiti even though it was farther away. I would say now how the turntables turn. I think Tahiti is gross now, and PuPu has went above and beyond. Check out my pfp. The food has full rich Chinese flavors, and the portions are huge! After the 3 of us finished, we had enough food leftover for 2 more full meals for us. And we all know leftover Chinese food is the best. Keep it up, Buddy!!“

“A rare find of semi-authentic northern Chinese cuisine in a non-descript mini strip mall on a “highway”.
IFor a suburban Chinese restaurant, this is a standout for sure.
The noodles (a specialty) are very well made with the right chew. The dumplings are tasty and juicy. Eggplant, a favorite veg, is well done without being too greasy. Some of the dishes lack the expected Maala, but that’s not surprising considering the palate they are catering to.

If you are in the metro west area, this is definitely deserves a visit.“

“The dumplings were really yummy and fresh. Our noodle soups were okay, nothing impressive though. I liked the flavor of my sour and spicy broth. It was yummy to try hand pulled noodles though hated how much they stuck together. Crab rangoons and egg rolls were really average here.“

“As the name implies the dumplings are excellent here. The place specializes in Northern Chinese cuisine so stick to that style. There are Cantonese offerings but it's not their strong suit. Order the xiao long bao when you sit as they take 15 minutes to cook.“

It makes me wonder whether places like this even expect to serve non Chinese speakers. The food is great, the price is reasonable, and more people really should try this type of service and cooking. At the same time, the whole space feels like it runs on its own reality and rhythm. In that sense, writing this entire review in English might not even make sense, because non Chinese speakers reading reviews like this might still choose not to come here. Anyway, this contradiction and the parallel pocket reality are part of the experience itself.“

“Had a great experience at P.F. Chang’s! The fried rice was especially delicious perfectly seasoned, flavorful, and cooked just right without being too oily. I also really enjoyed the Singapore Street Noodles; they had a nice balance of spice, fresh vegetables, and bold flavors. Our server, Harry, was fantastic very friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. His great service made the whole experience even better. “Star House has always been top notch for takeout Chinese. They do not do sit down service anymore but take out and delivery only. Food is very good, freshly prepared, and great value. I got pork fried rice general tso and boneless spare ribs, The rice was amazing and the meat had no fatty chewy bits which is a common issue I run into at other places! “I have very fond memories of Lobster Wok and ordering their All-Day Specials in college from their open kitchen with healthy cooking. They would deliver so quickly, the food was always fresh and tasty.

The carts come around and you begin your feast. My favorites are chicken feet, spare ribs in black bean sauce, salt and pepper lobster and stir fried Chinese broccoli (not pictured). The bbq pork buns and pineapple custard buns were fantastic as well.

Chicken feet were tender and flavorful. Pork spareribs had great flavor but wasn’t as tender as I would’ve liked. The salt & pepper lobster was crispy on the outside and meat was delicious. I could’ve sat there all day eating it.

The bbq pork buns had a little sticky glaze on top and the bun was so soft. The bbq pork filling had sweetness to it. The pineapple custard bun was a great dessert item to finish off a wonderful meal here. It was soft, topping was crumbly and the custard filling just oozing like an egg yolk. The bun was soft, sweet and delicious!

Service was great. Staff were helpful and friendly.

The wife is amazing hostess, outgoing and with a smile. Her children work there too, a real authentic family established. One of the very best Solid Crispy sesame chicken, very Little flour, less batter more meat!!! It’s healthier and you can taste the texture of flavors. It’s one if a kind, a signature dish most definitely worth trying.

Not greasy, not oily, not salty . The chicken wings have an amazing marinade glaze, the chicken lo mein is phenomenal all freshly prepared with love and attention. The standout dish is the FISH with black bean sauce!!!! Try it, the best kept secret in Norwood. I drive from Newton and honestly if this was closer I would go more often. The kids (and adults) enjoy various fruit teas/slushees with optional boba. They also offer Chinese and Thai food on the menu. “The price to quality ratio is very good, the only thing better would be the Costco $5 chicken. Lunch specials run $11 or $13 and comes with a bowl of rice.

While other restaurants in general load the meal up with fillers, such as breads, beans or rice, the ratio here is the other way around. There is 2X or 3x of the dish, relative to starch.

“Grandma and Grandpa here from NH visiting grandkids today. Grandpa suggests Chinese.. found these guys-- ordered for 2 adults, a 10 yo, 8 yo, 4 yo. Pickup avail in 15 mins. I was concerned over ordering enough. We had way more than enough for, and lot for the next day for a more than reasonable price. Everyone was happy... quality was more than good for Chinese. Awesome quantities, great quality and service.“

Their crab rangoons are some of the best (even better than some of the thai restaurants I like), the chicken fingers are always crispy and hot, and the chow fun noodles are always great. “Authentic Chinese food, and I mean truly authentic. They have a great variety of traditional Chinese dishes, and everything we’ve tried has been excellent.

The dim sum is good and definitely worth coming for. The coconut chicken hot pot is the real standout. The broth is light, naturally sweet, and full of coconut flavor, and the chicken is incredibly tender. We loved it so much that we were still thinking about it after we left.
