“This has to be the best Chinese restaurant I've eaten at outside of San Francisco's Chinatown. On our first visit we shared the excellent Hunan style prawns with the fabulous Szechuan spicy wontons appetizer. Our second visit we ate from the luncheon specials. Everything has been great, but the dumplings in the wonton soup and the appetizer are our absolute favorite!“
“Who doesn't love Jin's?? Kitty is the literally the best, (makes the best dirty martini too) Food is always amazing and they are always coming up with new items on their menu. Everything is delicious. Everyone is so nice. It's only a good time there.“
“Beautiful restaurant, terrific service, diverse menu. We were so excited to dine here for the first time on Easter Sunday and were very tempted by the ramen special! Entrees were high quality and generous portions; service was excellent and drinks made to perfection. We are already looking forward to our next visit!“
“Ordered the dry hot pot and garlic bok choy. Both were very good and service was good excellent. Mala hot pot could’ve been spicier, but they have chili oil on the side if you’d like to up the spice. Added pulled noodles and they were the perfect texture. Would come back for sure.“
“Tried take out this week from this spot: Sauteed Chicken W Long Horn Pepper In Scallion Pancake Roll - highly recommend Mini Juicy Buns W Pork(6) - very tasty Mala Spicy Beef - good - a lot of beef, prepare. Overall, very tasty items all around. I liked the mini pork buns and the scallion pancake rolls the most, but all probably worth a try based on experience with what I had.“
“Drove 45min to try Ding’s Kitchen and it didn’t disappoint. Ordered Peking duck, salt and pepper Dungeness crab, stir fried lobster with glutenous fried rice, salt and pepper calamari, and dim sum. Decided to order a couple more entrees to go for dinner tonight. That’s how good it is! Very authentic and flavorful. Will definitely be back!“
“This is my all time favorite restaurant for Chinese food I'll get it everytime. Never have been disappointed with their food. I recommend trying their salad it has this amazing dressing on top that can't be beat. I also believe that they have the best phad thai in my opinion compared to all others I have tried.“
“I love this place, have being customer of theirs since they opened, and they have grown so much and really well. I didn't have any complaints about anything every time I came. I would definitely highly recommend this spot for a nice downtime. Great to have friend hangout times, for really anything. The new food additions are really good! Service is awesome, very kind people. Great choice of music too! They have piano and guitar!!!!Kid-friendliness: My sister loves it here, she is 11! Awesome place for family and friends!“
“Food is exceptional! Scallion pancakes & wings were very good, but the spicy braised beef w/ handmade noodle and braised pork belly w/ rice were amazing! We will definitely be returning to try out everything on the menu ?? Extra points for a very tasty brown sugar “
“I was not impressed. Boneless spareribs were way too sticky and some were burnt. Like other restaurants now there prices have gone up a bit much. Also they are bit off Rte 9 and I think there are other places that are of better quality. I would only give this 3 stars.“
“Love this place so much--they're so good that my dad drove 2 hours out of state just so that visiting would overlap with getting takeout from here again. They have such a wide range and it's so, so good. We got the: 酸菜牛肉 - Sliced Beef & Pickled Cabbage and Chili and I can't stop thinking about it. I also usually get basically anything off the Szechuan Spicy Style section of the menu and I'm happy (especially the Sliced Chicken and Cabbage with Hot Chili Sauce). The dumplings are also very good, and hefty-- the meat feels wonderfully flavorful. Great place, love it a lot, figured I should leave a loving review.“
“Awesome local place. Consistently quick takeout. Or come sit at the bar for a drink and a Rangoon and a good time. One of the only lively places in Arlington ??♀️ They often have live music, and will let ya put whatever you want on the tv!“
“So good. Like going into Chinatown but with parking and good service ?2024 Update: This restaurant has been under new management (I believe it was sold to the previous owners god children) for a while now. Against all odds and expectations, it has gone from a really good spot to an even better, great restaurant. They have updated the menus, leaning harder into the authentic dishes that had set them apart, and brought an exciting energy. It's always bustling but never overwhelming. Welcoming and warm. It's so fun to watch old dishes that I loved get even better (ex. 3 cup tofu eggplant now has a smokey aspect that I didn't know I was missing) and to see the new owners make their mark. Thanks for bringing your passion, we are so proud of you and I am sure your god parents are too!“
“We love the food here. Everything is wonderfully seasoned and carefully prepared. when we lived locally we got takeout from Lilac House at least once a month. we now live in New Hampshire and I make special trips to Millis just to get egg rolls, crab Rangoon, mooshi, fried rice, and ginger chicken with string beans. Everything I have eaten there is delicious!“
“This’s the first time I come here but I feel everything good. We ordered Amazing Sizzling cumin beef and Beef fried rice. Very delicious and I liked. I’m sure, this restaurant better than almost Chinese Restaurant around Boston and Quincy. Good luck to your business! Thank you!“
“I have always had great consistent food here. Small modern, casual Chinese and Japanese restaurant. Staff is always very friendly and you get service with a smile. I always start with their Hot and Sour Soup! They use a thick old school recipe that hits you with complex flavors, plenty of fillers like wood ear mushrooms, golden needle, pork and all the good stuff. It finishes with a strong kick that will clear your sinuses. Their Spareribs on the Bone are some of the best around. Definitely one of my favorites. Their Shrimp with Lobster Sauce has a delicious flavor to it. It has a little sweetness complemented with black beans. They switched to the smaller shrimp. I actually like this because you get one in every bite. Like a famous chocolate chip cookie. The shrimp are cooked perfectly are not rubbery at all. Love this dish! Wings are crispy and juicy! Beef Teriyaki is delicious! The Egg Rolls have a really nice flavor. The ingredients could be chopped a little finer. Their sushi is delicious! Today my daughter had a Sushi Taco! Very yummy! There's also conveniently an ice cream shop right next door if you have any room left. Highly recommend eating here!“
“Decided to come to PF Chang’s for the consistent great food but we were amazed by the service. Max was fantastic! He was very knowledgeable about the menu and was attentive to our needs and requests. Fast to deliver our drinks with a smile - he made our meal special. There’s a thousand PF Chang’s but only one Max! Looking forward to coming back again!Chicken lettuce wraps - must haveKung pao chicken- perfect more on the spicy than sweet sideMiso salmon- great portion and great tasteWheelchair accessibility: Elevator available.“
“Everything was good. Cold noodles had a good amount of gluten cubes and cucumber with peanut /sesame sauce. Liang pi, a favorite. Eggplant with garlic was very generous. Good flavor and texture, not too soft. Fried intestines with celery excellent as always. This is the only Chinese restaurant I come off the Pike for.“
“THIS RESTAURANT IS SO DELICIOUS!!! Everything one the menu is cooked to perfection, served hot with a smile. The staff are very friendly and their menu items are authentic. I am obsessed with their chicken teriyaki appetizer and the happy family entree. Everything that I have ordered has been superb.“
“Simply the best Chinese restaurant in Framingham. They don't offer sit-down tables as it's mostly takeout. It's a family-owned establishment with phenomenal food that consistently delivers the same delicious flavor. I've been a customer for over 15 years. Navigating to downtown Framingham can be a bit tricky, but the effort is worth it for their always fresh, cooked-to-order meals at reasonable prices.“
“My family has been dining there for 30+ years. When I went on Tuesday and ordered a cup of tea they brought me a cup of hot water and a tea bag. When I requested another cup of tea the waitress refilled my cup with hot water (no tea bag). When I requested a pot of tea I was told they no longer use pots only individual cups. I don't think I'll be going back.“
“Big fan right from the start! Prompt delivery, food always arrives hot, and the flavors are great. I also love that I can order a regular size on rices and other dishes so I don't have excessive amounts of leftovers if I'm ordering for just 2 people. Finally my search to replace the Lotus Blossom is over. Love it here!“
“I had to come back and update my review -- Shine's has changed, and I think it's great. I hadn't been here since pre-COVID, but a few months ago my family decided to give it another try, and we've been back regularly ever since. The menu is almost completely different from what it was back in 2017: they are focused on authentic dishes, and doing it very well. I wish I'd come back sooner! The menu contains a lot of choices that aren't typical, but are very tasty. We particularly like the Rougamo sandwiches (listed on the menu as "burgers", but that's not exactly how I would describe them) and the "pancakes" (more like stuffed crepes, sort of), particularly the shredded potato pancakes. The soups are also excellent and unusual. And there are still areas of the menu we haven't explored at all. (I have no idea what "Toofy" is... guess I'll have to try it.) My only (minor) complaint is that you order at a kiosk (or online, for take-out) so you can't ask the waiter/waitress for any info/recommendations.“
“I ordered delivery tonight. Basil Fried Rice, Wonton Soup, Moo Shu Beef, and Boneless Chicken Wings.9 minutes later, my doorbell rang. I looked at a man holding a brown bag and I had no idea what it was. I stared at him and said, "Westwood Jade?" He said, "yes". Seemed impossible to cook and deliver to food so quickly.....YET: the Basil Fried Rice had the most intense flavor I have ever had in a fried rice dish, the soup broth was flavorful and piping hot with plenty of wontons, the beef was perfectly cooked, tender and delicious and the best boneless wings you can imagine.Good Lord, the food was amazing, the speed of delivery was amazing and great value.“
“Have been living in Boston for 8 years and this is the best Chinese food I have had out here. Might be the best general tsaos chicken I have had anywhere ever. Big portions, fair price, fresh, cooked to perfection. My go to is the general tsao dinner special w/ pork fried rice, crab rangoon and beef sticks. Comes with enough food for 2 meals. Ken and his wife are the best!“
“I love love love this place been ordering from here for four years (senior in college now). Everything is delish with great portions their combos are great portions for great prices. I'm from LA this is some of the best Chinese food I've had outside LA hands down. I'd suggest beef, bean sprouts and onion chow foon. Great for a hangover great for a staying in night great for a movie night just great! Good spicy stuff not bland at all just love it fried rice j needs some soy sauce sometimes love this place!“
“Really great Chinese food, authentic and delicious. If you are looking for American style Chinese (orange chicken... Fried rice), this place is not for you but if you want delicious traditional food that is fresh, definitely check it out! The lamb hot pot is my favorite!“
“Come here for dim sum and you won't be disappointed. Came as a group of twelve on a Sunday, and as soon as we sat down, we were hounded by waiters with food. It helps to have a Chinese speaker in your group, but it's not impossible without one.For the more popular dishes like Shrimp Chang-Fen, there was a bit of a wait, but not too long. Everything was delicious, but I had been craving the Xi Mi Lu (sago dessert), which really hit the spot.“
“I ordered the egg toll, pork fried rice and the moo shi pork. Best egg roll I have ever had!!!! Rice wasn't great but not bad. The Moo shi was perfect, except they didn't send the sauce with it. Other than the missing item, very solid. Courteous order taking and delivery. I will order from here again.“
“Good food, decent prices and good service. Went here few weeks back to meet up with friends so we were a group of 7 people. Initially we sat at one of the long tables but soon after everyone arrived they gave us one of the round tables with the lazy susan rotating center. We ordered a bunch of dishes - kung pao chicken, MaPo tofu, a lamb dish that came in a pot, beef dish, squash dish, a green leafy vegetable dish, and a couple other dishes none in total plus steamed white rice and green tea. There was a lot of food and it was all very good and tasty. Meats were tender and flavorful. We were quite satisfied and full with all the food! We also got some leftovers to bring home lol! Parking was easy as they have parking. Also was easy to find this place not too hard. Will come here again if we're in the area.“
“Tucked away in a quiet plaza, Three Gorges might not catch your eye at first glance, but it's a culinary treasure waiting to be discovered in Framingham.Despite its simple exterior, this small takeout Chinese restaurant has won me over as the best in the area. After exploring countless Chinese spots nearby, Three Gorges consistently impresses with its exceptional food quality. My personal favorite, the Chicken in Black Bean Sauce, is a true delight. The chicken is consistently tender, the vegetables are fresh and plentiful, and the sauce is a delicious harmony of savory flavors. This dish alone has crowned Three Gorges as my go-to for Chinese takeout. While the ambiance might not be its standout feature, the true magic happens in the kitchen. If you're craving a delightful and satisfying Chinese meal, Three Gorges is a standout choice, proving that remarkable flavors often come from the most humble settings.“
“This place is fantastic! They are quick and also their food taste great! Reasonably priced as well.My new go to hole in the wall chinese food spot!- Accidentally went in 15 minutes before they opened and they took my order and made my food anyways! ????“
“Never have I ever felt so chinese before in my entire life. Its as if god had this place sent down straight from heaven, giving me this opportunity to feel what its like to be chinese and what a great life is like. Out of every chinese restaurant, this place has left me ascending only because of a singular slurp of chicken lo mein.“
“Our office orders lunch from Number 1 frequently! The food is always fresh and hot. Atmosphere gets 2 stars because the decore is bare bones, but it is takeout only. Jason at the counter is forever welcoming and accomodating...and we've never waited for our order.“
“Located near to the Framingham T station with limited parking. Food is very good, and quantity was pleasantly more than I expected!! Since I had wandered in while driving past, I had to wait about 10-15 mins for my order, but you can order online (or call in order) for pickup. They also have delivery to a limited area but I don't know the details of that. Currently, dine-in is not available, only pickup or delivery. Definitely value for money!! I will be back“
“I’m a CPA in the trenches of tax season right now, and this sesame chicken pork fried rice combo is bringing the right doses of euphoria melting away the stresses with every bite.Their pork to fried rice ratio is fantastic. Packed with good amount of pork chunks for that source of PROTEIN.Sesame chicken sauce is nice and tart. It’s like the restaurant version of Trader Joe’s orange chicken except it was made by an Asian family with love.I eat half and save the other half for later. Excellent portion size to price ratio. Panda Express has nothing on Cathay kitchen. All of this satisfies my hunger and craving for Chinese food, along with 200mg of caffeine from a can of Celsius is keeping me LOCKED IN to refuel and get TAXES DONE ON A SATURDAY! WOOO!!!“
“From the moment you step inside, you're reminded of the old school American Chinese restaurant, where it's very casual, place for locals to gather and hang out, eat and drink Mai tais. There aren't many of these spots around, so very happy there is one locally and it hits the spot. The owner is very friendly and everyone there seems to know her and she knew their names. This is a no frill place, hole in the wall, no windows. We got an appetizer combo, chicken wings, beef Chow mein (not to be confused with lo mein or stir fried noodles) and sweet and Sour pork (this is not the typical current Chinese restaurant sweet and Sour pork in bright red sauce. This is chicken fingers battered pork with sauce drizzled over). Everything tasted good and brought back childhood memories.“
“Great food and service. Definitely authentic food. The medium spicy is a little spicier than other places, so do be aware. The kungpao chicken was a great dish, a little saltier than normal. The pork soup and soup dumplings were on point. Def a good place to try.“
“My family has been going here for a long time. There have been times when dishes weren’t as good as we expected them to be, but for the most part their food is good.My favorite dishes are the vegetarian leek pie (it’s not really leek, it’s a vegetable called 韭菜, “chinese chives”), any dumplings, smoked taiwanese-style duck, moo shi, bean curd with green mustard, chinese squash with nagaimo, and pork and pickled napa hotpot.I like their eggplant with pork or basil, but sometimes there’s way too much oil (the eggplant will be swimming in oil soup). I also prefer my beef scallion pancake rolls with scallion inside, not leek, so I would keep that in mind if that’s a dish you order at other restaurants. Anyway, I recommend ordering different dishes to see what you like! Their menu is quite extensive.“
“I've been to plenty of Japanese restaurants, so my expectations are very high. This place exceeded them and more! Great lunch combination options and flavorful miso, but the real star here is an extensive list of unique signature sushi rolls -- including options I've never even seen at any other sushi place. They have pictures of these specialties, as well as extensive descriptions, and our server did a good job of providing further explanations and recommendations. We had an unbelievably delicious lunch, and seriously considered coming back for dinner! The location is a little bit difficult to get to, but that's a small price to pay for such a hidden gem. Do yourself a favor and give this place a try, you won't be disappointed!“
“I had a really nice time at Golden Abacus. We eat at it's neighbor, gyro and kebab frequently and I wanted to give it a shot. We were seated promptly and received our food quickly. We both got dinner combos and I really enjoyed the food. My husband and I both thought the amount of food was good value for money. I really enjoyed the food and so did other folks in the dining room. I heard one woman telling the waiter that she comes down from Jamaica plain for it and she'd brought her daughter to try it. Now, that's a rave! I am not sure I'd drive from JP for it but it was solid Chinese food. The parking lot for this set of businesses can be a little intense if it's busy, but it's usually fine. Also there is a psychic next door if you want to spice up your outing.“
“China Sky's fried chicken fingers are delicious. I went by someone elses review and was pleasantly surprised. Also got the house chow fun noodles and those were top tier as well. Dumplings were delicious but a little doughey, and I liked that. I will definately come back here again.“
“Excellent very fresh, Extremely AUTHENTIC real deal Chinese!!!! This place is a hidden gem from the 80s!!!Very hefty portions, Non greasy, homestyle cooking- I come here every weekAlways greeted with smile, the front desk owner she is extremely cheerful and accommodatingThey have unique dishes too including specialty fish, and also farm fruits they get tangerines, and Asian pearsIt’s so much value and you can smell the food a mile away, total freshness- trust me you will be Hooked!!!! Definitely try the hot and sour soup, thick tofu and awesome texture!!!“
“It’s DEFINITELY a takeout-only place, but the food is PHENOMENAL, and I’ve tried multiple things on the menu. My only critique is the spring rolls have too much 5-spice. Otherwise, the service and food is amazing, they’re very accommodating, and they were SOOOOOO outstanding during covid. They fed us all and kept us feeling a little more normal during a hard time. I remember being told how to make a home remedy by the front desk person (I think he was the owner, or manager at least) and he told me why he kept an open jar on the counter with onions and other things in it , I hope he knows what customer this is. There was a different, younger man at the desk today, and he was VERY friendly and efficient as well. I’m watching my husband eating it now and he’s enjoying every bite. That’s what made me think to make a review. Thank you for being a great establishment“
“This is one of our family's go-to places for Chinese food. Their dumplings are consistently good. We also usually order take out from their seafood, vegetables, pork, and chicken menu and so far, we have been satisfied overall. It is a simple and reliable place to get "home-cooked" Chinese food.“
“My wife and I have been here several times over the past few months and each time is better than the last. The lunchtime menu is loaded with every imaginable entree. The angel hair with chicken and vegetables was out of this world . The service and staff are all amazing and ready to please everyone. Thanks and Happy New Year“
“Giving 5 stars for the excellent service I received!! My experiences are from both Dine-In and Take-Out. I've noticed it has only been Al and the same bartender & food runner/busser working; or at least the times I've come in. As someone who has worked in the food industry, I believe they all handle a busy rush pretty well. The food gets sent out quickly, and it comes hot! The last thing I want to think about while hungry at a restaurant is how long the food is going to take, but never do I have to worry about it here. My favorite dish is the Fruit Shrimp (their version of coconut or honey walnut shrimp). Hot & sour soup tasted as it should. I asked for scallions on the side to pair with it. I wish the Crab Rangoons had less cream cheese, with more onions/scallions--I think the ratio would be perfect after! I had extra scallions on the side from the soup, so I ate it with the Crab Rangoons. Still good. Staff were very on top of getting the check in & out, as well as bussing the table. Awesome job China Rose!“
“This is our go to chinese food restaurant (take out only!). We have been ordering from here for at least 10 years, and honestly have never had a bad experience. This is american chinese food- but it is delicious! Some of our favorites are the dinner for one sesame chicken, boneless ribs, crab rangoon, and garlic shrimp.“
“Number One Taste is my primary go-to, whether for mini-pork-leek dumplings, too many rice or noodle dishes to mention, and when I'm not feeling well, their chicken won-ton soup (not too salty, and not at all oily, flavor is tasty and fabulous with the slight hint of garlic). Their delivery is always prompt and a smiling exchange with the driver. The same courtesies are present at their site as well.“
“Great Wok Wellesley is a culinary treasure tucked away in the heart of the town. With its inviting atmosphere and attentive staff, it promises a memorable dining experience. From classic Chinese dishes to innovative creations, every bite is a delightful fusion of flavors and textures. Whether you're dining in or taking out, Great Wok Wellesley delivers exceptional Chinese cuisine that keeps customers coming back for more.“
