“My dad and I ate here last night before a show at Academy Music. Akasia was our server and we loved her. Our food was the best meal we have ever had together in all of our foodie ventures and we wish it was closer so we could go back. The steak tips were cut in house and resembled filet. The scallops were so good we got a second order. The salad was delicate but really great. My dad got the salmon and he is very picky on salmon, but it was incredible and he was delighted we made the choice to go there. I wish the oysters on the half shell were bigger, but the rest made up for it. My dad is in a wheelchair and everyone was super accommodating. Akasia was on point and knew we had a time crunch and accommodated that and also took some nice photos of us together. Great mock-tails and atmosphere was a 10. Hopefully one day soon we can make it back.”

“Really enjoyed my visit here. The food and atmosphere were excellent! Only downside was the service. I know in this day and age we should be thankful for our wait staff because it's hard to find good help. My waiter was pleasant and kind but she failed to ask how the food was after it was delivered. She did not offer to refill my drinks, I had to ask after my meal was already completed. It was relatively slow for I dined around 4:30. Other than that the restaurant is beautiful and the food was amazing.”

“These folks are working really hard to bring a decent Jewish deli to Western Mass and it shows. Those being super harsh on them after they’ve only been open a matter of weeks might consider the many challenges they are facing and try them again as in my experience they are improving every day. Big ups from several visits on the knish, the babka rolls (totally yum), the deviled egg salad and whitefish salad and the whole Megillah sandwich. The bagels are decent for Western Mass but those expecting a real NY bagel might have to accept they really don’t exist outside NY. The rye bread is too soft and not rye-y enough. We liked the pastrami and again while it is better than you are likely to get elsewhere in WMass but not the best you’ve ever had - this is not Katz’s folks nor could it ever be realistically. But it is pretty darn good for a bunch of scrappy upstarts just getting things going. We plan to keep going and supporting them and hope they are able to make it!”

“Spoleto‘s Continues to provide outstanding cuisine. We have been customers since Spoleto was located on the south end of Main Street up to it’s latest iteration next to the railroad station. The food is great, the parking is free, the wait staff are excellent and all is good. Since all good food requires time in preparation when it doesn’t come out of a frozen locker; the wait time can be longer than McDonald’s, however, nothing better than sitting and sipping while waiting. A great New England experience.”

“Hubby and I love dining on the patio of the Coolidge Park Cafe at the Hotel Northampton at least once or twice a season. Normally the food is good, just good. But last night it was stellar. Hubby had the pan seared wild caught salmon over polenta with fried Brussels sprouts and I had the pan seared wild caught scallops over mushroom risotto and asparagus spears. Everything was absolutely delicious. I haven't had a decent scallop in years, but these really tasted of scallops and the sea with a great texture. The risotto was so rich and mushroomy I can see I'm going to have to make a special broth and buy a bunch of mushrooms to try making one myself. We shared the lemon tart which also knocked our socks off. The server was equally stellar, thoroughly professional and delightful at the same time. We'll be back before snow flies for sure!

“As a restaurant professional I say this is one of the BEST brunches I have ever been to. There are pastries, seafood, breakfasts breads, breakfast meats, egg dishes, omlets made to order, carved meats and desserts. Service was prompt and gracious.”

“There are some restaurants in the area we visit more in the fall and winter months - not the least of which is Noodles in NoHo. We stopped in for lunch today and as always the spring rolls, soup, and rice bowl were the perfect meal for a cool almost-fall afternoon. I’m a big fan of their coconut-based curry soup with udon noodles - it makes me feel as though my whole body is smiling with contentment. We’ve tried most things on the menu and all of them are superb. And on those cold, damp, blustery days ahead nothing beats their spicy offerings to warm you up!”

“I love this place so much. The vibes are immaculate. They have such a cool collection of games and they have a small but very well made set of coffee options. To make things even better? They have coffee counter food and pastries which are incredible. The coffee shop scene in Northampton is hard to beat, but tunic really stands out.”

“This is a quick in and out pizza with a variety of slices, all with good flavor (crust is delicious). I especially liked the pesto slice and I appreciated how the spinach pie was thick, but not heavy. They also heat up the slices thoroughly (I’ve been to some places and gotten freshly heated but still cold slices).
The service is good, the ladies are busy but get to everyone quickly. Would definitely visit again.”

“I love this place! Got a Pad See Ew and asked for some spice and they kindly provided a spice level 1-5 to choose from. I opted for a 3 and they delivered. It was right in my comfort spot and satiated my craving. Other dishes from the table were some pad Thai which was delicious as well.”

Truly authentic and delicious, extremely reasonable prices, perfect ambiance, and wonderfully hospitable. The staff are very kind, personal, and professional. Whether it be Kerala fish curry, puri bhaji from Mumbai, or tandoori chicken, the food covers a vast array of Indian dishes from many regions of the country, with the dinner and lunch buffet alike being plentifully tasty and fulfilling. The atmosphere of the restaurant itself is full of community, with many people, from college students to retirees, coming together to enjoy a feast under its roof. As someone who has a deep appreciation of Indian cuisine, I can honestly say that this is some of the best Indian food you will ever find. There are simply no words to do justice to the experience of eating at Bombay Royale and I could not recommend it more highly.”

“I ate here 15 years ago and was happy to be back in town. Stopped by and met a friend for lunch. This is such a beautiful diner that’s been kept in really excellent condition. The staff are super friendly, and the menu is great for breakfast or lunch/dinner. My favorite thing is that many of the tables still having working jukeboxes. Also, it has a great counter to sit at. \n\nTry the cole slaw. It’s very good.”

“The best organic coffee in the country!

I have tried a lot of different coffees from all over the country, and I can say without a doubt that Indigo Coffee is by far the best organic coffee I’ve ever had. Their commitment to organic, single-origin freshly roasted beans really shows in the quality.

I’m particularly a fan of their medium/dark roasts, the flavor profiles are incredible and works perfectly in my espresso grinder! Beyond the product, their customer service is amazing; they truly take the time to help you find the perfect roast for your specific taste. Even though I’m in Arizona, my orders always ship incredibly fast. I buy a lot of beans so it’s nice they have a wholesale option for me. But they also offer a retail coffee ordering experience. I would love to go into their shop someday!!!

“If you have never dined here before, you are in for a surprising treat. The Culinary Arts Department at the Smith Vocational and Agricultural High School operates a student-run restaurant three days a week, Wednesday through Friday of most weeks, from 10:45 AM to 12:30 PM. The students, under the supervision of three chef instructors, learn every aspect of food preparation and service. There is menu service on Wednesdays and Thursdays and an all you can eat buffet on most Fridays, which is currently priced at only $15.00. The menu changes weekly and is posted online. This is genuinely one of the hidden gems of the Pioneer Valley.”

I'm very sensitive to gluten cross- contamination, and it was reassuring to me that the staff person was knowledgeable and asked me if I had a gluten allergy and needed separate preparation for my order. They also are taking COVID precautions seriously. They are requiring proof of vaccination in order to dine in (this is clearly posted inside and outside of restaurant), and while at my table I overheard a staff person asking an unmasked person to put on a mask. Could not have had a more enjoyable experience... sad I don't live in the area!”

“I heard Jersey Mikes was in Northampton from a friend of mine and I was meeting PAM who does my hair in East Hampton and I sent her a message and said hey let me bring you lunch Jersey Mikes she ordered and then I decided I would have one and I added to her order and when I left, they were so busy That I just paid my bill took the two grinders to meet up with PAM at 1:00 I realized I was not charged for one of them and I called them today to settle up the girl that answered the phone says let me get you the manager Jon Michael got on the phone a little surprised that I was honest enough to pay for this meal And he said enjoy it on the house. “Not a safe place to sit inside

The drinks and food are pretty good, however I don't feel safe however to sit down and enjoy my beverage inside. Last time I was there I noticed a large group of (possibly ) homeless people doing drugs in the back seating area. I watched this happen multiple times over a 2 hour span and an employee kept walking by and did nothing about it. I had to bring my stuff with me to the bathroom because I was afraid it would get stolen.”

“Great service and amazing baked goods. We had the apricot danish and the pecan sticky bun and they were so good we returned for some tarts to take home - lavender lime and Boston cream tarts. My daughter got the cold brew with coconut syrup and really enjoyed it.”
