“The food at Oye Restaurant Bar & Grill was good for the most part, but could gave been more flavorful. We did enjoy the GF calamari and the sushi boat. The service was friendly and welcoming.
The only downside was the ambience. The lighting was much too dim for our liking, making the space feel a bit too gloomy, and the restaurant was quite empty when we visited, which affected the overall atmosphere. With brighter lighting and a livelier vibe, the dining experience would be even better.

“My daughter & I went to Wei’s Restaurant for the first time…we were craving Lobster Ginger Scallion and they had a great twin lobster special so we chose Wei’s…It was a Monday and our usual place was closed….Im so happy we found Wei’s!!!!! We had amazing spring rolls that were so fresh and light crunchy and delicious! The best I ever had! Then we got the Peking Ravioli and they were also homemade! Not those regular hard ones they were like pillows of dough wrapped around a very tasty filling! Again the best I ever had! We had a couple of excellent cocktails and the Lobster Ginger Scallion did not disappoint! You can choose from the list of different cooking styles for your twin lobsters as well! It felt a little pricey at the end, though I’m not sure if that’s just the going rate for Chinese food in Somerville. Sichuan Cuisine in Watertown is still my favorite.“

“got takeout, went home and egg foo yong had no gravy on it. Called them up and told them about that. Not even two minutes later the woman called back and stated that's the way they make it! I have had this numerous times and there was always brown gravy on it and in container! She was very argumentative. For that reason , we will not be going back! DO BETTER!“

I ordered delivery and when the driver got here, he immediately asked for a tip, before trying to give me my foodm first of all that is BEYOND RUDE. You dont know if I tipped on card or if I did have cash for you, but just EXPECTING it. No you dont get a tip in my eyes, that is not OK. If you're delivering and all you are expecting is a tip every time, I feel bad because not everyone tips.“

“BEST CHINESE FOOD WITHIN 50 MILES. 5 stars without a doubt. The food is always amazing. Ask for extra duck sauce.
Only issue with the place and believe me you'll learned to ignore them because of how good the food is, sometimes when they say 20 minutes for pick up its more like 45 minutes but that's fine. Their prices seem to be on par with other Chinese food places in the area, in my opinion all Chinese food is over priced but hey can't fault them for wanting to make money. Their food is well worth the price. we spend about $65 every time we go. It's enough food to make 2 adults uncomfortably full with enough left overs to do it again the next day. It's just as good reheated.“

“As someone who has had the privilege of dining at some extraordinary Chinese and Japanese restaurants around the world, from Hong Kong to Tokyo to Manhattan, I can say without hesitation that this is the finest Chinese and Japanese food in all of Massachusetts. The ingredients are exceptional, the preparation is thoughtful, and the consistency is remarkable. Restaurants like this are rare.

We even brought our chef Tracy here one evening. She’s worked in several Michelin-starred kitchens and spent years cooking in private estates and luxury hotels. And she was completely blown away. I was a tad worried but the food arrived hot and freshly made, seasoned well for our palates and was reasonably priced especially given the generous portions. Staff are kind and helpful. The moo shi pork arrived with the appropriate thin pancakes stacked and shingled in foil and rolled in a way that prevented them sticking together - perfect! The moo shi pork had the classic moo shi flavor and they are very generous with the protein. The egg foo young was not too greasy and was also tasty. I never tried this dish before and can see why it’s popular. Most of the appetizers are your classic fried not-really-Chinese bites and are done true to what one remembers and craves. We would join our friends again next time a craving strikes for classic American-Chinese food.“

“We have ordered from here at least 5-6 times and it’s always really, really good, tasted fresh, good sauce to ingredients rating, etc. I recommend them in the Medford area over any other spot we have tried.
My only criticism this last time is that their fried rice didn’t have a lot of veggies in it (only bean sprouts and onions). I like peas, carrots, etc in my rice. But otherwise, it is cooked well and the shrimp in the shrimp option are cooked well and very tasty.
Also, my cashew chicken had peanuts instead of cashews. Thankfully i like peanuts.“
